Location and staff service attitudes, make it worth to stay.

The location and staff service, would say is this unit strong point. City center is just a walking distance even though the unit is in residence area. From the outside, the unit looks old but when we step in, could say that the owner did try his very best to renovate and upkeep the unit.

Very nice and homely. Small room but exceptionally clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast.

Nothing really. Only feedback would be that a hand towel would be useful in addition to the two bath towels.

Lovely place to stay.

Quiet, comfortable & clean individual rooms. The hosts were very helpful, very nice. They made the breakfast themselves & were very accommodating. The bed was very comfortable & the decor was very nice. Such a lovely place to stay.

Exceptional staff, great value

Owner Paul was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The place is close to central on a quiet area with several town houses. Rooms are very clean.

Would not hold this against JacobiteRose, but water pressure in UK is not great typically. It was reasonable in this case.

Quaint B&B

It was a lovely bed and breakfast place just a short walk away from the river and lots of dining options The room was spacious and clean The bathroom too was beautiful with great hot water and shower pressure The parking was just outside on the street with the permit provided by the host Paul is an amazing friendly person who provided us with a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning

Nice, almost perfect!

Everything else, the beds were comfy, it is a great location as it's only a 10 mins walk to town, opposite a spar, out front parking (with the permit provided). The staff were lovely, breakfast was delicious. I would stay here again.

The shower head was covered in limescale and it was slightly broken, which kinda overshadowed the almost perfect bathroom. The room was also very hot and stuffy, we didn't feel comfortable leaving the windows open as there were no safety locks.

Wholesome and wide spread breakfast.

Paul was friendly, accommodating to prepare breakfast earlier than usual time due to our early tour pick-up. Breakfast was done well, yoghurt, juices, cereal etc.

Shower unit was extremely small, hot water could burn you if not careful.

Great hostess and perfect city centre location

Louise was fantastic, our reception was superb and she couldn’t have been more helpful. She cooked us a superb breakfast fast too.

The property did not live up to the “Fabulous 8.6” rating on Booking.com. The property lacked a number of standard features that we had experienced in similar properties on our holiday and generally needed updating and some TLC.

A nice place to stay, no doubt!

We stayed in a charming old house with a staircase leading up to the room, which was clean, comfortable, and quiet—just what we needed. The bathroom was also spotless and well-kept. Breakfast was a highlight, brought to us by Paul, who was incredibly friendly and cheerful. At one point, a plate accidentally fell, but he came over immediately to clean it up, whistling as he did so—completely unfazed and full of good energy! We truly felt welcome and at ease. I would definitely stay here again.

The shower emitted a constant whistling sound while in use, which was a bit inconvenient, but apart from that, our stay was excellent.

It was near the city.

The window wasn't covered enough si to much light, there was no wardrobe. There was no blind in the bathroom and it was not worthy of the price.

Nice one night stay

Stayed one night here . Not to far from centre ,breakfast was lovely .Twin room was clean with tea and coffee facilities. Parking at front of property that I reserved .

Perfect walkable location.

The room was perfect and in a great location to walk into Inverness. The hosts were really nice and the breakfast was outstanding! Thank you for a great stay. Next time I'd like to stay more than just 2 nights.

Fantastic!

Cute little space. The room was tiny but spacious. Well maintained. Bathroom was clean and big - with good quality toilet paper (a rarity these days!) The lady that checked us in was awesome and super friendly! gave us such a warm welcome - even carried our bags upstairs for us, and showed us how the shower works! Great hospitality. Many eateries in walking distance. 15 minute walk from the train station.
