Very nice host and breakfast and great location

We had a great welcome and information provided from Russel who was a great host. We really liked the location too which was comfortable walking distance to the city centre.

Final NC 500 stopover

Russell is a great host. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was very good. All in all, it was good value, and we returned two weeks later, after completing the NC 500. Recommend this place.

The place to stay in Inverness

Exceptionally well-located, this charming guesthouse strikes the perfect balance - just a short walk from the city centre, yet tucked slightly off the beaten path to ensure a peaceful atmosphere away from the crowds. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and fully stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Wi-Fi worked flawlessly throughout. Breakfast was delicious, with a small à la carte menu complemented by classic continental options, all beautifully presented. Parking at the rear of the property can be a bit tricky, but the owner is on hand to assist with navigation. Alternatively, you can request a guest permit to park at the front, which is very convenient.

Nothing comes to mind. There are stairs mind you (it's not step-free), but this in a normal expectation from a small establishment. This was not a problem for us.

Very comfortable overnight stay

Russell was a great host. Breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice. The room was very comfortable with an excellent shower. The bedsheets and towels smelt really fresh and clean. Would recommend to others. Thank you.

This was a small room but very comfortable, had a great shower and everything we needed. The host was so friendly and helpful. Great breakfast.

Friendly, good location; bland, but adequate for short stay

The proprietor is friendly, and was very helpful in terms of getting oriented to the area. He was great about providing an earlier than usual breakfast in order to accommodate my travel schedule. The room was adequate, and reasonable value for the location.

I prefer to think of this as suggestions for improvement. eg. 1. Instead of offering to carry luggage up the stairs after a guest has already started, just go ahead and carry the bag for the guest, who is probably tired after a long day of travel and/or sight-seeing. 2. Though the room was adequate for a one-night stay, it felt somewaht bland, and didn't feel like it lived up to the online description or images. Perhaps due for a decor refresh. 3. extra touches like a proper bath sheet instead of a smallish towel would improve the guest experience. 4. Access to a small fridge would be very useful and appreciated.

The whole experience at this Guest House was everything and more than expected. Would definately recommend. Bed and sheets were the best in our 5 weeks overseas trip. Thankyou Ellen & Russell. Will definitely come stay with you again if ever in Inverness

Our host was warm, friendly and attentive. Everywhere was very clean. The breakfast was first class.

Parking was a bit tight, although that was largely counteracted by the expert guidance of our host. If one wanted to strive to find a negative, I suppose one might say the decor was not in the first flush of youth, but it was very clean, neat and tidy.

The breakfast was excellent wholesome food. Our host was very kind to let us check in one and a half hours before check in time, without extra payment. Location was very central so we could easily walk where we wanted to be.

Most wonderful Guest House to say in

Beautiful house and our room was so nice and very comfortable. Russell and his wife couldn't do enough to help. We had breakfast every morning during our stay, and all I'm saying is that it's the best breakfast we have. Always making sure we had plenty to eat. We will definitely be staying with them again. Made to feel very welcome and very comfortable. Just a short walk away from the town centre. Inverness is such a beautiful place to visit. Would highly recommend staying at Torridon Guest House.

Fantastic, central b&b with fabulous hosts - 100% recommend for a great stay in Inverness!

We had a wonderful 3 nights at this lovely B&B. The location is great, only a few minutes’ walk from the River Ness and city centre; our room was comfortable, clean, and spacious with everything we could need; breakfast was included and was excellent. What really made it though was the warm, kind, attentive hosting from Russell and Ellen. Russell has fab tips for the best places to eat and what to see & do! Thank you so much and really recommend staying here - we hope to be back one day.
