Cosy, festive stay.

I've stayed here a few times. Joy is always warm and welcoming. Cosy, clean b&b. Was a treat to find Christmas decorations. Was a lovely weekend away from reality. Great location, short walk into center. Breakfast is tasty. Excellent shower. Tea/coffee facilities.

It would be amazing if breakfast ran till 9.30am or so, especially on a Sunday. I realise this is probably because check out is 10am.

Best three nights in Inverness

We had a wonderful stay thanks to the amazing hosts. Joy was really helpful and provided us with everything we needed for a great few days. The room was clean, warm, and cosy. The bed was very comfortable (we even helped ourselves to delicious tea provided in the room), and the mattress was as good as new. The breakfast was truly delicious and had fantastic options - whether you want to experiment and get something different every day, or simply enjoy the one thing that blew you away. The location is perfect, we didn't have a car so we arrived by train and it was just a short walk from the station. We also booked a tour with a meeting point even closer. But apart from the good accommodation Joy showed us a friendly face and a warm welcome to our home away from home. He was super positive and extra nice. So remember: if your host's name is Joy, you are guaranteed to enjoy.

Excellent B&B, would really recommend it. Fantastic welcomming by the host. The room was very clean and fresh. Breakfast was excellent with many options. Calm and quiet area, just a short distance from citycentre. Would definately like to come back next time in Scotland!

Wonderful and caring host!

Joy, the host, was wonderful! Very friendly and helpful in every way! The property location was great - a quick 10 minute walk to the town centre, so very convenient to get to all local sites. The breakfast menu was varied and delicious. Extra points for having ground floor rooms for us seniors, lol, and on property parking. A great 3 night stay. Thanks, Joy!!

A quiet and comfortable stay with a super host.

We stayed in one of the garden units. It was comfortable and very quiet. The host, Joy, was super accommodating and kind. Breakfast was delicious and Joy was flexible in handling our early morning tour times. It was a short walk to the River Ness and into the center of town. It was great and I will book with Carisbrooke again if possible.

Delightful!

Joy was a delight! He recommended a great walk along the River to the Ness Islands and his recommendation of the Tomatin Distillery was spot on as well. Breakfast was exceptional both mornings of our stay! Great location- short walk to restaurants and sights.

Wonderful stay

My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Carisbrooke Guest House. Communication with the host through the app was quick and effortless, making everything smooth from the start. When we arrived, Joy warmly welcomed us at the Guest House and gave us a thorough walkthrough - from using the door code to all the amenities available in the room. The location is fantastic, very central and within walking distance of everything we needed. We truly can’t recommend this place enough. If we ever return to Inverness, we’ll definitely be coming back to Carisbrooke Guest House. Thank you so much for having us, it was perfect!

A super guest house very close to Inverness CBD. We would definitely stay here again

The room was freshly redecorated and the bathroom was lovely. Although not overly large, there was space under the beds to accommodate suitcases and two comfortable chairs with a table so you didn’t have to rely on the bed as a seating place. There were wine glasses provided and chocolates. Our host Joy greeted us on arrival and took us through everything we needed to know including recommendations for bars and restaurants within walking distance. Easy parking facilities for guests

Wonderful Stay – Great Location and Hospitality

I had a great experience staying at this B&B. Jai, the host, was incredibly welcoming and even allowed us to check in early, which was a much-appreciated gesture after a long journey. The location is fantastic—an easy walk to the center of town and just a short drive to Loch Ness, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We had a wonderful stay, and the host Joy is a delight. Immaculate room in a perfect location. Comfy bed and a great price for such a sweet room.

The only critique I have is the door to the shower is a tight fit for a large man like me, but I do need to lose a few pounds.

Delightful B&B with wonderful host!

What a beautiful gem of a B&B in Inverness! Joy was a fantastic host - welcoming me warmly and making sure I had everything I needed for a great 1-night stay, including great suggestions for things to do in Inverness and restaurant recommendations. The room was beautiful and very large - loved the king size bed. The bathroom was stunning - impeccably clean with a shower and gorgeous separate bath. This particular room faced the street which seems like it is fairly busy; however I always travel with a small white noise sound machine, so if there was any street noise I did not notice it. Just something for other visitors to be aware of. The attention to detail here is superb. I had an early start the next morning so wasn't able to stay for breakfast - I will just have to come back! :)
