Family trip

Our stay in Inverness was, quite simply, outstanding. I must begin by highlighting Linda's extraordinary understanding; we arrived a day earlier than anticipated, and she immediately managed and sorted out the situation, ensuring everything was perfectly ready for us. We opted for the breakfast and it was absolutely delicious, with most of the items being home-made by Linda herself. We felt incredibly comfortable throughout our time there. The location is superb, making it brilliant for walking to all the city's points of interest. My parents were completely charmed by the accommodation and are determined to return. I recommend this place 1000%. It’s the perfect spot where you genuinely feel at home, yet with all the facilities and amenities of a top-tier establishment. Everything was spotless! Thank you very much!

The guesthouse is located 10 minutes on foot from the city centre, it's quiet and cosy! The owner is very friendly. She welcomes you and shows you to the room. There are a mini fridge, coffee, tea and even home-made fudge in the room! On a wall you can see different recommendations for cafes and restaurants.

Amazin host and great value for money

Linda is very nice and receptive. The room was clean and she put many indications of bar/restaurants in the room, which was very helpful. The place is a 10 minute walk from the city center.

The location and accommodations were good. Everything was very clean.

The bathroom set up was a bit funky. The mirror was over the side of the sink against the wall which made it a bit useless. But I understand because of the window placement in the room. We just used the mirror in the bedroom instead. It was hard to use the coffee maker because the cord was short it had to be placed on the floor to plug in. An extension cord would have helped :)

This is just a general comment about accommodation prices in Inverness. For the price of the room (with no breakfast ) I had a night in a good hotel in Glasgow with breakfast and a 2 bedroom flat in Stirling. I guess it is supply and demand

A little bit more out of the way that we would have liked but still within walking distance to the train and bus station. The host was wonderful and the place was clean and comfortable. In particular the best bed we have slept in since starting our trip.

Lovely little place to stay!

The host, Lynda was very friendly and helpful as well as being accommodating. She was willing to give recommendations for places to go for dinner and she loaned us a scale to weigh our luggage. The breakfast was beautiful, with a homemade cake. The property itself was very well located as well with access to parking, and the host provided us with a parking permit.

The host was exceptional, very warm and friendly nothing was too much trouble was very helpful in passing on local information for pubs and grub. The room was perfect for our stay and the homemade fudge was a special little treat.

Wonderful guest house!

Our hostess Lynda was very nice and accommodating. She found out we had to leave early the next day, so she gave us some home baked banana bread for our breakfast and made sure we had everything we needed. I would stay there again.

Above and beyond with accommodation and hospitality

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay! It was very clean and adorable! We truly loved our short time here. Lynda and her husband were so accommodating and went above and beyond with their services. It was the kindness and hospitality we needed when everything about our trip before then had gone so wrong. She really turned it around for us and we couldn’t be anymore thankful for everything she did. I definitely recommend staying here and I will absolutely be back when I visit Inverness again!

Pastor treated like a Friar

Hostess-proprietor Linda greeted us by name upon our (late) arrival, then showed us to our room for a brief overview of the skylight's dual functions, etc. In the morning, at her invitation, we enjoyed a cordial visit and a healthy, economical breakfast that she prepared and served to us.

Everything was in good order. Add to that our host's cordial hospitality, which was quite refreshing.

There are no windows just a patio door that you enter and exit through. Unfortunately if you have the blinds up and decide to change the people within the next room can see everything you’re doing when they walk by. You can hear everything that happens within your room from upstairs as well as a room next-door. From people talking to TVs to them going to the washroom. Difficulty sleeping through throughout the night as you can hear people walking about or snoring in the next room. The continental breakfast which was minimal was charging £8 yet a fantastic dining restaurant which is two minute drive down the road had a full English breakfast for £7.95. Nice clean sheets and clean towels, but a lack of garbage cans to put waist in as well as a lack of space to put our luggage as well as proper luggage up to find our clothing weather for the night or the next day.
