Irish Hospitality Traveller

Rooms were clean & warm had tea ,coffee & snacks on arrival & water. Beds were comfortable & it was within walking distace of the city . Check in was easy .

Bathroom was a bit smaller than expected but managable.. Better pillows would be a benifit .

Comfortable, with ample amenities, only let down by an overly-thin duvet.

The room was very clean, with a well-equipped ensuite toilet/shower. There was plenty of tea and coffee provided along with a kettle. The room was serviced when I was out during the day, with the tea and coffee replaced.

The duvet was too thin for mid-winter in Scotland. This was really the only thing I could fault. I was very cold at night, and needed to use the provided hair dryer to warm under the duvet a couple of times through the night. Hopefully this didn't disturb guests in other rooms.

Worth it surely!

It's my second time staying in this property and it's my favourite whenever I'm in Inverness. The rooms are clean, modern, spacious, and neat. The private external bathroom is a bit new to me (in the new place), but it was fine. Naim is a gentleman. And the value for money beats any other place in Inverness. Staying again for sure.

We didn't stay.

Did not stay, on arrival, found cats running around and I am deathly allergic to cats. Staff said I would be ok as the cats would stay downstairs, they clearly do not know how allergies work. Refused a refund told us to contact booking.com, we did, they also refused a refund and a total of 4 people hung up on myself and my daughter. Disgusting treatment from b&b owner and booking.com.

Nice quick stay

The location is nice and the room is warm. The bed is comfortable and the shower is nice.

The booking says congenital breakfast but that is wrong there is no breakfast, also the bed was stained.

Very welcoming friendly host

Very welcoming host always happy to give advice on things to see and places to stay. Excellent location only a short 5 minutes walk into town. Very clean premises and well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities.

Advertised as free parking but this excludes the hours of ten until 5 pm and there are very few spaces available. The twin room is on the top floor with very narrow winding stairs without handrail. I have a bad knee and this was difficult and felt dangerous with nothing to hold. Attic room very low ceilings and bathroom very tight. No lock on bathroom door and no privacy in the bedroom from the bathroom. Breakfast very basic with only eggs or porridge as a hot option

Nice guesthouse in walking distance to the city centre

The location was great as you could easily walk in to the old district of Inverness. There was free parking available. The guesthouse was well decorated and comfortable and had a good feel to it. Would stay here again.

The room was too small and not acceptable even though I was only staying for work.

The entrance from the street was a disgrace, the pathway was broken, the wood surrounding the front door was rotted and needed replacing and painting, the carpet inside the door was dirty and had a piece of grey tape over what I presume was a tear in the carpet

Excellent location, but disappointing for the price.

Quiet location, with easy access to town. Big bed with firm mattress.

Not a lot of room to squeeze past the laundry bags which were piled up in the doorway. The bedroom carpet was stained. There was absolutely no signal on the television, all it did was switch on or off. The kettle had to be turned off manually, or it just kept boiling. The linoleum in the tiny bathroom looked very dirty. The plughole in the sink wasn't cleaned properly.

I was a bit stunned at first that my single room was the size of a twin bed. But after a bit I realized it was like a cocoon room and enjoyed it!

Very good for a one night stay

The location was very central and convenient for the bus station as we're in transit between Orkney and our home.

There was some noise at night from across the road and because it was warm we needed to have the window open. Because of the coombed ceiling it was a bit uncomfortable sitting up on the bed to read. Otherwise fine.

Ok place to stay for one night

Easy to find. Son of host was there to let us in. Very friendly. Unfortunately , there was no internet. It was an extremely complicated password and after trying 8 times we gave up. There is bike storage, very helpful. Close to town center.

It’s in a perfect position for enjoying Inverness We went to a concert at the leisure centre and walked there and back to town after to go to the live music bars
