Good location but that's about it

Good location

The room was dated and the re ent Reno's were poorly done. The shower had a bizarre water control system that we couldn't figure out (zero water pressure, hard to control the temperature). The on-site parking was very tight and full. The continental breakfast proposed was very expensive for what it was (10£ for a bowl of oatmeal?). Despite some efforts, our host was not overtly welcoming.

Centrally situated in Inverness

Location great - centrally located in Inverness. Clean, comfortale bed, basic room. Host friendly after chatting to us but initially upset that we'd rang bell twice.

Not responsive via messages on Booking.com. Parking an issue. I had asked for a space to be reserved. When we came back from dinner our space had been taken. No other space available. Soundproofing in room shocking - we could hear people in next room talking, laughing, turning on tap.

Close to town centre and Bught Park. Had car parking. Clean but basic.

Found the gentleman in charge rather abrupt and dismissive. Paid extra for breakfast said what we wanted, which was less than was offered, and he appeared very surprised by this, but there was no point in him giving us food that we were not going to eat! He also served up our scrambled eggs before we had finished our cereal therefore the eggs were cold, he just pushed them onto the table. Coffee was lukewarm.On the Saturday night there were very noisy guests in one of the other rooms so it was around 1 before I could get to sleep.

Clean, comfortable and quiet room but very compact. Friendly staff. Great location, with lovely walk across the bridge to town centre. Costco around the corner. Adequate breakfast.

Very clean and comfortable room, not so far from the city centre, just across the river Ness.

Overpriced. The room is very expensive for what it is. The staff could be more welcoming but for 1 night it is okay.

Disappointed stay

Good location.

A rather rude owner. Ill kept rooms. Not clean enough. We were promised free reserved parking but as soon as we drove out, our parking was taken. Not recommended.

A great place to stay!

The owner was very friendly and helpful. We came down late for breakfast the first morning, but he attended us cheerfully. He was knowledgeable of the area and gave us suggestions of good places to eat and interesting sights to see. The location is excellent.

Great charming stay, would definitely recommend :)

Tony was so sweet, welcoming, and helpful! The room was very nice and had a great amount of space for us four girls and all our luggage! The rose outside were in full bloom and the whole hotel was nice and charming. 5 minute walk across the bridge into the little town and all the restaurants. Totally recommend :)

Staff was great. I loved the carpet! Parking was very easy.

I could hear the people next door easily so it didn't feel as much private. Bed was a little to hard.

Needs some small touches to show care Complete lack of privacy - clear windows looked out straight from the bed onto ground floor with no blinds/netting/window adhesives . I ended up putting a towel over the windows Little touches Very tiny kettle, very limited milk Dirty plug adapter not fixed onto wall could do with a clean white usb charger No bin in bathroom Staff knocking on door in morning to see if room needed changing rather than the usual sign on the door Feels overpriced recommend the westward b&b in cannich for same price double the size room includes a hearty breakfast and much nicer .

Very pleasant b&b option

Excellent guest house

Very warm welcome from Luigi who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We had a lovely spacious family room, tastefully decorated with coffee and tea facilities. Beds were very comfortable. Very nice shower room. The guest house is ideally situated for getting into the town centre on foot. We recommend with enthusiasm.

Luigi is a wonderful host. Property is very clean and comfortable. Central location makes it easy to walk around scenic Inverness. Had a car for 2 days and free parking was really helpful. Highly recommend this guesthouse.

A lovely stay in a clean, well-located guesthouse with a warm and helpful host.

We had a great stay! Luigi was incredibly friendly and helpful – he assisted us right away with parking, which we really appreciated. The room was in excellent condition and very clean. The guesthouse is also in a perfect location, close to everything in Inverness. Highly recommend!

We did find the price a bit high, but it seems to be standard for the area. Other than that, everything was perfect!

We stayed mid May, easy to find, and very well prepared. Andy was very welcoming

No breakfast. Location was wonderful, 6 mins walk to River Ness and a further 5 mins walk to city centre. 5 mins walk to Tesco and Spa shops. Some good Chinese, Indian and chippies all in short walking distance.
