Its a long drive to all the beautiful places but as we were there in December roads were quiet

It was a 10 minute walk from the city centre so when we took a break from driving we walked around the town. The most amazing breakfast

Situated within walking distance of the city centre, the Castle is located in a quiet residential area. Chris has gone out of his way to provide a comfortable, welcoming and relaxed place to stay. He is helpful and personable. Breakfast is generous and there are lots of options to suit all tastes. The complementary whisky and chocolates were much appreciated! Thank you

Lovely b&b in the heart of Inverness

Cozy and spacious rooms, the owner greeted us when we got there and made us feel very welcome. Beds, bathroom, shower were excellent. Only a 10 min walk to the Main Street. The breakfast was very good

Just perfect

Everything about this stay was fantastic. Chris made us feel very welcomed, the room was beautiful and comfortable with some lovely treats provided. The space was warm and cozy and the bed was so comfortable. We were also impressed with the included breakfast, everything delicious. The B&B is in easy walking distance from shops and restaurants, we were able to park in the street and get everywhere on foot. We only stayed one night but I would have happily stayed longer.

Perfect in every way

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Stay at The Castle BnB, Inverness! From the moment we arrived, Chris made us feel completely at home — friendly, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful. Our room was large, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with a bed that promised (and delivered!) a perfect night’s sleep. The attention to detail was just wonderful — a silent fridge stocked with drinks, complimentary whisky and chocolate waiting for us, and even my new favourite coconut bodywash in the huge bathroom! It’s those little touches that make The Castle BnB really special. Breakfast was fantastic, with a wide range of choices — something for everyone, and all beautifully cooked. Parking right outside made everything so convenient, and the whole place just had a calm, cozy charm. Chris has created something truly lovely here. Everything you could want in a BnB — comfort, warmth, and care. I can’t recommend it highly enough

Breakfast was exceptional well worth the stay! Parking was often difficult as it was street parking and restrictive. The home was exceptionally clean and our host (Chris) was great. Very friendly and informative.

Better parking arrangements but that isn't possible due to the location of the house. There are also a number of steps to access your room - not easily done if you are elderly or with mobility issues. Chris did assist my husband with the luggage so that was greatly appreciated.

Chris is a very charming and interesting host. We enjoyed his hospitality immensely. His cat Patch visited us regularly to check on us. Breakfast was great. Location is perfect with 10-15 minutes walk to the town center. Place is spotless and wonderful.

Quaint and quiet B and B close to city center

Each room is unique with attached bathroom and nice extra amenities such as waters/tea/coffee and a snip o whiskey if you choose. Breakfast was amazing (the best we've experienced in Scotland) and the property is in a quiet street within easy walking distance to the city center.

A really Beautiful house, the room furnished with lovely decor and all around clean. The charming landlord offers the best breakfast with all the things we like. On our journey through Scotland the best accomodation.

The owner was friendly and helpful and served a nice breakfast in a pretty room. The beds were comfortable and it is a short walk to town. Fun older house but updated room facilities.

Highly recommend the B&B castle, great place and great host

The location is great, an 8-10 minutes walk from the city center. The house itself is adorable, our room was quite spacious and very well furnished. Everything is perfectly clean and smells wonderful. Chris is the perfect host, attentive and responsive and takes great care of guests. He's full of attention, like the chocolates and whisky upon arrival (which you can have refilled during the stay ;)). Breakfast is delicious, basically anything you want and when you want. I highly recommend the castle for your stay in Inverness. Thank you Chris, we had a wonderful time.

This was the perfect place for me to end my 10-day hike in the Northwest Highlands.

Breakfast was outrageous! Both in terms of the amount of food and the quality. If you're coming here after a hiking trip where you've been calorie-deprived and eating bland freeze-dried meals....the breakfast alone is worth it :) Chris is an excellent host who went above and beyond. Would stay here again. 10/10.

Loved our stay!

- Chris is a naturally gifted host. Gives great advice about the area, is very calm and really makes you feel right at home. Cat "Patch" is an adorable and very gentle sidekick. - Lots of information of the city and surroundings available in the room and common area. - The whole place was super-hyper-clean. - Bed was super comfortable and smelled really good, as did the towels. - Chris hands out a long list of breakfast options every day to choose from. Preparation and presentation was excellent and really something to look forward to. - Attention to detail, available toiletries and some drinks & chocolates, yum!

Wonderful Inverness B&B with excellent host.

Chris was a great host. His breakfast’s were the best in Scotland. The complimentary chocolates and whiskey were great. Great deal all around and only a few blocks walk to the restaurants and river attractions. Free street parking in front of the property was very convenient.

Only thing was that the water pressure of the shower was low. The rest was great.

Breakfasts included the basic wholesome Scottish breakfast excellently done, but a good array of cfruit, yogurt and cereals. Chris also went out of his way to pick up some personal supplies for us.

Amazing bnb stay and experience, one of the best I've had. Chris was helpful to chat to before arrival. I mentioned dietary requirements and he went above and beyond to ensure we were catered for. So many little touches that made all the difference, and felt really inclusive. The place itself was warm and welcoming, and the room was incredibly comfortable. Quiet and chilled location for easy walk into city centre. Perfect stay. Highly recommend.
