I like that our room had a little seating area between the bed and the bathroom and a nice view of Inverness Castle. The shower was nice with almost instant hot water.
Other highlights include free parking, the city centre was within walking distance (15 mins) and a supermarket (Aldi) was under 10 minutes away by foot. Tesco was also nearby and a Spar was just round the corner for the essentials.
Some of the cookware didn't work on the hob, other guests didn't clean up after themselves in the kitchen so you often had to clean before cooking.
The bathroom could have done with having a small shelf above the sink for your toothbrush.

It was very peaceful yet about a 10 minute walk from the central area. I liked the kettle, drinks and biscuits, and also the house was lovely and warm as it was cold outside. I loved the street with the pretty stone houses.
The shower worked, but was a bit stiff and ancient looking. I had tried turning it on the first morning all ways and nothing happened so I thought it was broken and had to get a shower at a relatives. Instructions would be handy. Later my brother came to look at it and managed to get it working. Once going though the shower was lovely. The mattress felt a bit worn. I could feel the coils quite easily and had to fold over the duvet and lie on top of the duvet to soften the feel of the springs.

No breakfast but there is a kitchen for guests' use. Convenient location.
Online check in and access arrangements are poor. There is a keybox on the front door which i had to kneel to operate every time i entered the building. This is not a traditional guest house with an owner on the premise.
