mySTAYINN Abermar Guest House

The location is excellent, only a short walk into the Inverness city centre and all its beauty. The room was clean, very clean, and the beds comfortable. The size of the room is decent and the added bonus of an ensuite bathroom excellent. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk and a kettle all provided in the room. The downstairs area is good - the dining room is great, plenty of space, nice and comfortable. Kitchen is big and clean, good fridge space and storage. Stairs easy enough to navigate, carpeted and not too many. The onsite parking is a bonus. The cleaning staff are excellent and thorough, very helpful too. Contact with the help line is good too, they are quick to respond and provide useful information.

The check in process requires sending personal and sensitive information via the StayInn website - this should be done through Booking.com and not allowed to happen off site. We notified the company when we checked out only to have them call us to check we had left, which was a little unusual. There needs to be an easier process so the company knows when guests arrive and leave. The WiFi didn't reach our room - it was great in the downstairs communal areas but not upstairs. Getting into the building is frustrating - there needs to be a more accessible option. Every time we entered we needed to open the lock box to gain access to the key to open the front door. I'm not sure what to suggest but there must be a better and easier way.

We were in the room next to the front door so could be noisy when people were coming and going but wasn't too big a deal

Location and parking was perfect. In a very lovely area and easy walk to the Centre.

The bedspread seemed dirty .There were hair on the white sheets .Also our shower seemed a bit complicated to operate .We struggled to figure it out .There should be some instructions
