A double room was booked. The bed not a double was very uncomfortable. The room had no toilet paper. Returning to reception, nobody was present, a queue had formed with one man phoning to see how he could book in. The bathmat was stained and the room uncomfortably warm.
Toilet roll
Clean bathmat
Accurate description of the bed

I had a self contained studio for a week and I found it amazing. Very spacious, fully equipped kitchenette, desk for work or study, comfy bed and a really clean bathroom. Bed linen and towel provided, don’t forget to bring your toiletries or buy them in Tesco nearby. Staff were very nice and helpful. Retail stores and dining opportunities are within walking distance, however, getting into the city centre by public transport is something you need to prepare for. If you use the bus stop at the retail park, you can get to the centre quicker.
I would definitely recommend staying here.

Good value and on a bus route into Inverness
It is typical student accommodation but that’s what it was expecting . No restaurants near. 1/4 mile walk

None
Bad smell
Shower switch not easy to manage
Room Temperature always hot
Nothing inside the room apart of 2 tower.
Even the toilet roll was half way and with marks
I have found hair under bed cover which shows bed linen were not washed properly.
Never again!!!

The accommodation is located in a campus with open space.
1. The location of the reception and accommodation blocks are not indicated on the road signs. There is absence of clear direction to the accommodation blocks.
2. Besides a few toilet rolls, the venue does not provide shampoo, bath gel and tissue. There is no waste basket in the room. Providing a waste basket in an accommodation room is a common practice and generally expected by guests to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. To manage guests' expectation, the venue should state the obvious.
3. The room is poorly maintenance The light in the toilet operated by motion sensor. It cut off after 5 seconds. Once the shower door is closed, the sensor just stopped working and the light is cut off. The guest has to shower in pitch darkness. To activate the light, guest has to open the shower door, waved towards the sensor. This has to be repeated.
4. The shower tray drain is blocked. guest taking shower has to interrupt the shower a few times to allow the water to slowly drain.

The room I had was clean comfortable and adequate for my requirements. And not too expensive.
Central heating was set too high. Not good when the outside temperatures are already high.

Well placed, kitchen facilities good.
There were no clothes hangers and no waste bin. Expected a vanity mirror over wall above dressing table area. The light fitting over the bed was a bit of a hazard and room small. We felt that this accommodation was rather overpriced.

Room is extremely basic. You have a bed, towels, shower room, study table, that's it. Read the booking description carefully. No air conditioning, no tea/coffee etc, no soap etc, no TV. There is a shared kitchen which may be a bonus to some.
The room was 27c all of the time and that was with the ground floor window wide open all night (Security risk) and a noisy fan going full on on. (Other rooms were the same according to staff) You would think I'm talking about this happening in a heatwave, but the weather leading up to and during my stay was pretty mild, getting up to 16c outside and going down to 8c during the night, but still 27c, or at its lowest, 26.1c in this very small room. There was no warning to gueats anywhere that such temperatures should be expected in the rooms and that nothing can be done about it. It certainly wasn't down to the weather outside, with cool temperatures. On the first night I was promised that by using the fan and keeping the window wide open in my ground floor room, that by 10 I would be "cold". 10pm came and went, it was 10c outside and then down to 8c, but the room temp stayed at 26+c. Because there was no air con and the property were unable to provide me with accommodation that was fit for purpose ie, a room that was cool enough to be able to sleep, the main purpose of the room, I was forced to check out the next morning, with staff understanding and agreeing with my concerns. However, as of now, the property refuses to offer me a refund, at least for the two nights not used due to the intolerable conditions. I'm a journalist an record everything and so I actually filmed the temperature on the room temp gauge as well as my watch which showed the outdoor temp, time and date. The property did not want to see this or did not request to see the evidence. This amounts to an admission that the property agrees that the room was an intolerable 27c and that they could not resolve the issue, yet still expected me to remain for a further two nights in a room that was demonstrably unfit for purpose. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, particularly folk with high blood pressure and generally older people.

Easy to park and convenient location, good instructions provided by host to find it. Easy check-in as staff were on site all night so didn't have to worry about being late. Short walk to retail park for groceries.
Mattress was worn out with springs poking through, no toilet roll was in the room but this was provided when I went to ask staff. Floor was very dirty and generally room was a bit grubby. No bin in the room or bathroom, which I knew to expect from reviews but is still poor.
6.0 / 10.0
The flat surroundings on campus as well as the walking distance to the Retail Park.
The staff member that checked me in could have been friendlier. She was one the most unfriendly people I met in Scotland. The other staff members were fantastic.
The room temperature control didn't work in my opinion. To lower the temperature, I opened the window, which didn't open properly.

Location and price
Very noisy at times. Insufficient seating
No toilet roll provided. Cooking equipment did not work due to a faulty socket. We had an extension lead so plugged in to an adjacent socket.

It was a great affordable place to stay slightly away from the city but close enough to easily take a bus in.
No sheets and toiletries (outside of toilet paper) were provided.

Good location for work at raigmore. Spacious room, felt safe. Good fridge and freezer space
Uncomfortable mattress, broken appliances, TV and an oven. Kitchen light broken. Noisy door closers and poor soundproofing. Overheated, heat sensors broken. Very harsh lighting in the room

Nice neighborhood, quiet, peaceful. The accommodation was 10 minutes to the center by car, but there is also the possibility to go by bus (the station is nearby). The room was clean and cozy. There is also a shared kitchen, where you can also use a refrigerator, microwave, cooker... The parking lot is near the dormitory. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great location, friendly gentleman on the desk who was very helpful.
I stayed here as it was slightly cheaper than most other places for a stop-off night. I wish I'd have paid the extra though as the bed was uncomfortable, the chair in the room broken, theres no tv as its a dorm and i could hear other people coming and going. I expected it to be basic but for at almost £100 a night it was disappointing compared to other places I've stsyed in Inverness.

The staffs were great, really helpful and nice
Seems like they used radiator in the building even in summer, we found it quite difficult to sleep because it was too warm

Location was lovely. Felt relaxed.
It was hard to find where I had to register. All it needs is a simple sign on the road to point me in the right direction.

Good price for peak holiday time. Friendly staff. Clean functional room - no frills. Kitchen was good to have - fridge, toaster microwave and kettle. Plenty space to self-cater and save money
Restaurants within walking distance aren't great (Pizza Hut, Nando's etc.)- better to drive into Inverness. Mattress a bit soft and thin. Room looks like what it is, a recently emptied student bedroom - a picture or two on the wall would help. Doors can be really noisy if left to close automatically

The room suited my needs, it was basic but clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly, that in itself added to the reason why I would definitely like to stay again, the atmosphere of the place was great.
5.0 / 10.0
The location was very central.
Firstly, the alarms went off twice for no reason, and there was no communication with those who were staying in the building. Parking is advertised but very small for the number of rooms, if you're not early, you miss out and have to park quite a walk away. The room was also very small. There's no bin or ventilation. The bed was very worn and small, not recommended for a couple.

The whole setup was nice but there weren’t any amenities at the property!
The location was slightly far out from the city centre. You need a car to travel. The post code mentioned here was incorrect and we were looking for the property for some 30 mins more than usual.
5.0 / 10.0
The security in the building was great, as we as the fact that was a laundry room on the premises. I also liked that there was a kitchen with pots and pans and a microwave and refrigirator with a supermarket nearby.
I didn't like that it was so far out from the town center and that the buses to and from there were very unreliable; sometimes late, or not showing up at all! I also didn't like the fact that there was no breakfast option for what price was being paid and that it was so far from getting a bite to eat in the morning. Other similar campuses offer something, and so that would have been nice!

Good value for money.
Tiny shower, automated extractor fan took a while to turn off (over 45 minutes), not great for when trying to sleep at night.
