Disappointing.. we shall not be staying again and I wouldn't recommend despite the location
A double room was booked. The bed not a double was very uncomfortable. The room had no toilet paper. Returning to reception, nobody was present, a queue had formed with one man phoning to see how he could book in. The bathmat was stained and the room uncomfortably warm.
Toilet roll Clean bathmat Accurate description of the bed

Excellent student studio at an affordable price
I had a self contained studio for a week and I found it amazing. Very spacious, fully equipped kitchenette, desk for work or study, comfy bed and a really clean bathroom. Bed linen and towel provided, don’t forget to bring your toiletries or buy them in Tesco nearby. Staff were very nice and helpful. Retail stores and dining opportunities are within walking distance, however, getting into the city centre by public transport is something you need to prepare for. If you use the bus stop at the retail park, you can get to the centre quicker. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Enjoyed Inverness
Good value and on a bus route into Inverness
It is typical student accommodation but that’s what it was expecting . No restaurants near. 1/4 mile walk

Bad experience
None
Bad smell Shower switch not easy to manage Room Temperature always hot Nothing inside the room apart of 2 tower. Even the toilet roll was half way and with marks I have found hair under bed cover which shows bed linen were not washed properly. Never again!!!

That is not a desirable accommodation unless improvements are made and implemented.
The accommodation is located in a campus with open space.
1. The location of the reception and accommodation blocks are not indicated on the road signs. There is absence of clear direction to the accommodation blocks. 2. Besides a few toilet rolls, the venue does not provide shampoo, bath gel and tissue. There is no waste basket in the room. Providing a waste basket in an accommodation room is a common practice and generally expected by guests to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. To manage guests' expectation, the venue should state the obvious. 3. The room is poorly maintenance The light in the toilet operated by motion sensor. It cut off after 5 seconds. Once the shower door is closed, the sensor just stopped working and the light is cut off. The guest has to shower in pitch darkness. To activate the light, guest has to open the shower door, waved towards the sensor. This has to be repeated. 4. The shower tray drain is blocked. guest taking shower has to interrupt the shower a few times to allow the water to slowly drain.

It provided reasonable accommodation for me. Of course, that might not apply to anyone else>
The room I had was clean comfortable and adequate for my requirements. And not too expensive.
Central heating was set too high. Not good when the outside temperatures are already high.

Basic accommodation for price
Well placed, kitchen facilities good.
There were no clothes hangers and no waste bin. Expected a vanity mirror over wall above dressing table area. The light fitting over the bed was a bit of a hazard and room small. We felt that this accommodation was rather overpriced.

WARNING. Uncontrollably, unbearably hot rooms. Fan on full, window wide open, cool weather outside
Room is extremely basic. You have a bed, towels, shower room, study table, that's it. Read the booking description carefully. No air conditioning, no tea/coffee etc, no soap etc, no TV. There is a shared kitchen which may be a bonus to some.
The room was 27c all of the time and that was with the ground floor window wide open all night (Security risk) and a noisy fan going full on on. (Other rooms were the same according to staff) You would think I'm talking about this happening in a heatwave, but the weather leading up to and during my stay was pretty mild, getting up to 16c outside and going down to 8c during the night, but still 27c, or at its lowest, 26.1c in this very small room. There was no warning to gueats anywhere that such temperatures should be expected in the rooms and that nothing can be done about it. It certainly wasn't down to the weather outside, with cool temperatures. On the first night I was promised that by using the fan and keeping the window wide open in my ground floor room, that by 10 I would be "cold". 10pm came and went, it was 10c outside and then down to 8c, but the room temp stayed at 26+c. Because there was no air con and the property were unable to provide me with accommodation that was fit for purpose ie, a room that was cool enough to be able to sleep, the main purpose of the room, I was forced to check out the next morning, with staff understanding and agreeing with my concerns. However, as of now, the property refuses to offer me a refund, at least for the two nights not used due to the intolerable conditions. I'm a journalist an record everything and so I actually filmed the temperature on the room temp gauge as well as my watch which showed the outdoor temp, time and date. The property did not want to see this or did not request to see the evidence. This amounts to an admission that the property agrees that the room was an intolerable 27c and that they could not resolve the issue, yet still expected me to remain for a further two nights in a room that was demonstrably unfit for purpose. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, particularly folk with high blood pressure and generally older people.
