Nice place but dirty

Nice room and facilities with a great view out of the window. I also liked the shortbread and the coffee bags provided. I had a great nights sleep so the bed was really comfortable. I got a free upgrade to a more expensive room. The owner immediately turned off the loud TV downstairs when I asked him to turn it down.

There was some miscommunication and the room wasn't ready for me when I arrived. Even though I thought I spoke to the host about it over the messaging system. I was moved to a different room but this was prepared hurriedly and wasn't cleaned properly. The bed and bathroom were hairy and looked like they hadn't been cleaned since the last occupant. The owner's TV was on downstairs and could be heard in my room stopping me from sleeping until I asked him to turn it down.

Good value for the money.

We only stayed one night and it suited our needs.

Need to put instructions up for the hot water switch as we had never seen that before and turned it off, needless to say hubby had a cold shower.

Good location. Large bedroom.

We weren't able to take breakfast despite having paid for it. We arrived at 9.15 and were told it ended at 9. Nobody ever told us the breakfast time and it was not mentionned anywhere. Frustrating.

Nice rooms in a quiet area of town

Well located, in a quiet residential area not too far from town, with some restaurants options around.

Bathroom could use an actual bath mat. Breakfast was average.

Superb

Very comfortable, clean and quiet guest house. Handy for city centre cafes and activities and Inverness itself central for dolphin watching, urquhart castle, fort Augusta and other lovely villages.

Disappointed

It was very disappointing to not order breakfast and have breakfast billed to my account 90pounds!!! I am still waiting to be compensated in full via my credit card

nice location, the room was clean. We could have the regular breakfast, which was between 08:00 and 09:00, only one out of the three days and it was really good.

The two days when we had to leave slightly before 08:00 (07:35 and 07:50) we had only a very reduced version of the breakfast, with no warm drinks or more consistent food, which is a pitty. Also, the debit of the shower of the bathroom was extremely weak which made this moment rather uncomfortable.

Kathleen is an excellent host, kind, and answered our requests very quickly. The location of this guest house is perfect, close to the city center, but in a calm area.

Great location and good accommodation

Kathleen was a great host. Very good communication at all stages. She made clear she was available for any needs. She provided a lovely and abundant breakfast, and packed a take-away breakfast for us for our early departure. Appreciated the parking availability for our rental car. Excellent location - walkable to city center.

The shower suffered from lack of water pressure. The facility seems a little worn, but still comfortable.

Despite the shower, we enjoyed our 2 day break and would definitely stay there again.

Good sized room, clean and tidy. Able to park on the premises. Good location, easy walking distance to city centre and nice area for walking the dog. Did not have breakfast because did not want to leave 9 month puppy alone in the room. Kathlyn Whyte was friendly and helpful.

Shower (Room 5). Pressure was low and took longer to have a decent shower. Toilet seat was loose and misaligned.
