Our Valentine weekend

Location was ideal just a short walk down to the town, where all the shops and bars could be found. The facilities were "spot on". The room (3) was spacious, clean with under floor heating kept the room at a lovely temperature. The bed was comfortable. The cooked breakfasts were cooked fresh every day, with a good variety if you wanted a cooked breakfast,cereal or fruit and yoghurt. The owners were and are a lovely, friendly, and welcoming couple. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Winter break

Room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. Spotlessly clean with everything you needed. The host Joan was friendly and helpful advising places to visit. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order. The town centre was only a short walk away. Would definitely stay here again, great value for money in a beautiful home

Great stay!

Great time at Culliss House. We particularly enjoyed: -Comfortable, spacious room with plenty of outlets, comfy bed and nice bathroom -Delicious cooked to order breakfast with the most amazing scrambled eggs and creamiest porridge. -Close proximity to walk into town. We didn't need our car for any of our time in the town of Inverness. Joan was a lovely host and made sure we were well cared for.

Excellent stay!

We had a fantastic one night stay at the Culliss House. It was so comfortable and well-appointed, nice hot showers with great water pressure, and breakfast was outstanding. There was lots of free parking, and it was an easy short walk into town. Overall highly recommend for a charming and comfortable stay!

The bed was not terribly comfortable for me and my husband, but I believe this is a personal preference.

Beautiful home and large room with bath. Very clean and quiet located off main road easy to find. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was ample and choices were available. Jean was a perfect host

Breakfast was excellent with lots of options, including full Scottish breakfast. The room was spacious with a terrific bathroom. It was impeccably clean, and the location was a quick walk to everything in the city centre.

Joan has done an amazing job creating a clean, comfortable, and efficient b&b. The room was great, the breakfast was home cooked and delicious, and it was a 10 minute walk to the center of town. It felt like staying in the home of a loved one. Absolutely would return!

Wet good communication, good advice provided for sights and eating choices. Parking at property and location is close to all attractions. The room is very modern and has all facilities. The owner had lovely tastes in the colour matched decor and provides very small but exclusive touches to make you feel welcomed. She is very responsive and provides an excellent breakfast, the choices are taken the previous day. One feels very much at home at this location. Very positive experience and highly recommended for a stay.

Great stay in a cosy B&B with fantastic breakfast and even better host!

Location was perfect for the wedding we were visiting Inverness for and a bonus it was walking distance to the town centre and along the river. Joan was a fantastic host, very accommodating during breakfast which was very good and lovely to chat to as well. The rooms were a nice cosy vibe and clean with all the facilities we needed. Will definitely be back if we visit Inverness again!

THE best place to stay in Inverness.

Culliss House is a sanctuary if you wish to stay close to all of the wonderful activities Inverness has to offer. Joan is the perfect host. Her warmth and professionalism shine through the moment she greets you with her wonderful smile. The bedroom and ensuite is immaculate and spotless, beautiful carpets and modern interiors. The breakfasts, both continental and full Scottish, are delicious and cater for all dietary requirements, including the tastiest porridge I’ve ever had! THE best place to stay in Inverness. Peaceful location, but close to the city

In an excellent location, just a short walk into town. Very modern and comfortable. The breakfasts were plentiful and served in a lovely breakfast room. Great water pressure in the shower and wifi was always working perfectly. The host’s communication was excellent.

Excellent location and comfortable stay but needs improvement in a couple of areas

We had a comfortable and a pleasant stay. The location was excellent, close to town and the breakfast was very good.

However, the bathroom needs some improvement - no mixer tap in the sink which made controlling the water temperature difficult. The mixer shower doesn’t work well and hot and cold water coming and a low pressure. The hostess could be friendlier, only making basic conversation.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Cullis House! Before we even arrived, Joan made us feel completely at home with her warm, welcoming nature and genuine hospitality. She’s incredibly friendly, attentive, and full of great local knowledge. From local attractions and historic sites, to the best spots to eat in Inverness. Cullis House itself is a cozy haven in the heart of the Highlands. It is beautifully kept, full of charm, and radiates comfort. Our room was spotless and thoughtfully decorated, and the bed was amazingly comfortable — we woke up feeling truly refreshed each morning. Breakfasts at Cullis House were an absolute highlight. Joan served up a delicious spread every day with hearty porridge, perfectly cooked eggs, smoked bacon, mushrooms, fresh fruits, and yoghurts. Everything was prepared with such care.. a true homemade meal that set us up perfectly for the day ahead. The whole experience felt more like staying with a close friend than in a B&B. Joan really goes the extra mile to make sure every guest feels special and completely at ease while travelling. If you’re visiting Inverness and want a place that’s welcoming, comfortable, and full of character, Cullis House is an absolute gem. We would be back in a heartbeat!

Perfect and relaxing.

The location was close enough to walk to the town center and the church to catch a couple of Rabbies tours. Joan made delicious breakfasts, great porridge and the best scrambled eggs and was very amenable to preparing breakfast at 7:00 am on the days we had to leave early to catch a tour. The room and beds were comfortable.Inverness is a great base to see sights with it 2 hours in any direction

A real treat

Joan is a very friendly and helpful host. She takes a lot of pride in her business. All the amenities and finishing touches were amazing. Luxurious soft towels and bedding. Fantastic bath and shower. It is a very modern b & b with a beautifully fresh cooked breakfast. A short and easy stroll into town. Parking on-site. Gorgeous garden surrounds the property. It's quiet and peaceful.

Inverness Location Wonderful

Cullis House is a lovely B&B located a 10 minute walk intimate Inverness. The bedroom was roomy. The bathroom was well appointed.Its quiet, and homey. There were plenty of plugs for charging. Breakfast was really lovely. A selection of eggs/porridge/Scottish bacon which is cooked to order. Parking your car is easy and included! But honestly. the most important part about staying at Cullis House is the Host Joan! Joan always has a smile ready and makes you feel at home.
