Massive disappointment due to staff conduct.

Was really disappointed with this stay. Has previously stayed here in the large suite after our wedding and it was lovely. Stayed again over Christmas and NY with my daughter in the same suite and unfortunately due to noise levels from staff in the bar below our room I could not sleep. I lay in bed feeling quite unsettled due to hearing swearing and loud music coming from staff who were sitting having drinks after work. I went downstairs about midnight to ask them to keep the noise down, went back upstairs and it continued on until around 1am (maybe even later). Would not stay again for this reason found it incredible disrespectful.

Comfortable and inviting.

I had an excellent experience with the staff. Very friendly and accommodating. The actual building looks friendly and inviting, nice and warm inside and good atmosphere. Happy smiling staff.

We were planing on having dinner here as it has been very good in the past, but as it was a reduced winter menu we felt it wasn’t really what we wanted so we had some drinks and went to find somewhere else for food.- it would have been nice to be made aware of this when we booked our reservation. The bathroom in the room is very visually dated and not up to standard with the rest of the hotel.

Pleasantly surprised to find such a lovely hotel, fabulous room and food with helpful staff.

The room had obviously been recently upgraded, and it was beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and a plush sofa to relax on. The en suite was clean and bright. The breakfast was outstanding and served in a stylish room. The hotel's location, with free parking, was within walking distance of the city centre. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and will definitely return.

We stayed only one night, and it met our needs. Can't fault it, other than the view is of a road and not of the hills, but we chose a city hotel for convenience.

Loved this hotel

The room was beautifully renovated and breakfast was delicious. The staff, especially Jonathan and Isla, were fantastic. The beds were also very comfortable and the location is excellent.

Staff lovely, central location.

The access to city centre is superb. Staff were very lovely and friendly, the bar area was comfortable and warming.

The room was slightly dated. We booked a double room and it was 2 single beds joined. The mattress of one was bowed in the middle and was incredibly worn and soft. Could def do with being replaced!

Last minute booking, surprisingly lovely! Would definitely be back.

Very last minute trip for us so we weren't expecting anything special but it was exactly what we were looking for and have no complaints. We stayed in the budget room so I can't speak for all the rooms however it was perfectly clean, the bathroom was lovely - newly refurbished. The staff were really nice and helpful! Would definitely go back.

Comfy and cozy hotel, great staff

Staff were awesome, they did brilliantly considering how busy it was for the Xmas party. The hotel was very clean and the location is just off the city center by only a few minute walk. Great value. Will stay again if back for a night.

I have marked it as an 8 as the tv was very dated and I the plug in my room didn't work and didn't realize until the morning when my phone was dead. But other than that I have no issues.

We loved our room , we got upgraded to one that was refurbished, it was very warm the bathroom had a night light which was handy during the night not having to switch the light on , the bar are was very nice and cosy our dog was aloud in there while we had our meal it was very nice

Excellent hotel in the heart of Inverness

Location is excellent. Staff went over and above, they setup the sofa bed with the kids teddies when we went out. The kids absolutely loved it! Nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless and very comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Noisy guests above my room with a squeaky bed from about 11pm till 2am in the morning. not a good night’s sleep.

Spacious room with comfortable bed but needs a little tlc.

Room was spacious and beds comfortable.

The shower didn't really work very well (burning hot and poor pressure) and the sink was cracked. The shower had no body wash but contained hand gel, so a combo body wash and shampoo would be better, surely hand gel was a mistake? I also didn't like all the different levels of stairs as I have breathing difficulties and not helped when I had to go back down as my room key wouldn't work. With a little tlc though the rooms could be lovely.

Comfort, Cosy and Central

We stayed here for two nights with two kids, two adults and a dog. A slight mix up with booking.com sending through inaccurate info to the hotel but they were super quick to try and offer alternative larger rooms etc but our room was more than adequate! The place had Christmas parties on but it in no way impacted our stay as the sound wasn’t terribly intrusive and they didn’t last too late into the night either. Room was extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped with teas, coffees, plenty hanging space and cleaning service each day. The manager on the bar with the Christmas tie on on the Saturday night was so helpful, he always tried to ensure everything was perfect for our stay! A special shout out to one of the girls though who was honestly absolutely amazing at her job. One of those people who just stands out so much that she really does need credited for all her hard work. She jumped on the reception desk to check us in on the Friday night when asked by a manager who was running about at a busy time with the parties starting, then she was sent up to make up our sofa bed, and then she was running plates to the kitchen on the Saturday night from one of the parties. She was so friendly, nothing was too much trouble for her even though she was here there and everywhere, and just someone I never saw without a smile or a hello each day. A real asset to the hotel! Sorry I didn’t catch her name but I really hope the hotel recognise who was on shift and can pass on our amazing feedback of her service!

It was a short stay which left me wanting to return for a few days to get to experience the hotel for longer.

I loved the style of the property it was very luxurious to the point I would class this as one of my favorite hotel stays in my life.

The parking was a little tricky, I was lucky I had a small car although was of course grateful it had parking right next to the hotel so the benefits far outweighed the cons.

Very nice cosy hotel.

Property is clean, decor is very tasteful and convenient for access to town and shops. Staff are very nice and will go out of their way to help with any questions. Breakfast is brilliant and value for money. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay.

A beautiful hotel, with excellent staff, very good facilities, private car parking and near to the town centre and a var

Everything. The hotel staff were most welcoming and the service was perfect. Lovely choice of evening meals from the A La Carte menu and generous continental and cooked breakfasts were delicious. I was lucky to be occupying one of the recently refurbished, comfortable, large double rooms with modern en-suite facilities, including a full bath, shower and lots of space for personal belongings. The room was comfortably warm, quiet and with tea, coffee, internet TV and excellent hotel WIFi throughout the hotel. I attended a family funeral tea, provided by the hotel. The service and food was excellent, with generous platters of sandwiches, hot snacks and delicious cream scones for all. The hotel staff and team serve guests and customers with dignity and respect, which made our stay at the hotel and the funeral tea a very nice experience.

A lovely, well-run hotel with great food and a welcoming, friendly team of staff who made our stay most enjoyable.

The hotel is a beautiful property with its own dining room, separate bar/lounge and welcoming Reception area. It has car parking and is located in a lovely street, ideally situated for exploring on foot to nearby walks along the River Ness, Ness islands, Bught Park and into Inverness town centre. We dined in and enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the hotel during our stay. We also attended a funeral tea at the hotel, the selection of food, especially the cream scones, and service by all staff was excellent.

The hotel is undergoing some refurbishment, so some ground floor rooms were not available. The staff did accommodate one of our party in a lovely room, which suited their needs. This didn’t detract from a wonderful stay and we look forward to returning to admire the new decor in the future.

Staff were fantastic. Arrived early so asked if I could park my car even though I couldn’t check in until 3 and that was no problem at all. They even said after check out that we could park the car for as long as we wanted which was nice of them. The room was spacious and clean. 5-10 minute walk into the centre. Quiet location considering how close to town. Free parking which nowadays is near impossible to find.

Great location, warm and comfortable. :)

The reception staff were lovely. Checked in no problem, warm welcome. The kitchen staff were also lovely. The food was delicious! Even with a 21st birthday celebration going on we hardly heard a thing. Double bed was very comfortable and the room was warm and cosy. Location was excellent, just a 5 minute walk down the hill to the centre of town.

Better selection of tea/coffee and more milk would have been nice but the reception were kind enough to get us more if we asked for it. Didn’t realise we booked a double bed and a pull out sofa bed rather than two doubles. But after a flip of a coin I got the double bed which was super comfortable! I believe the pull out bed was fine, but obviously would have been nicer to have a proper bed each. Other than that everything was lovely.
