This was a great place to stay for my wife and I and a friend of ours. We appreciated this apartment was pet friendly and they could sit in the bar with us. The apartment was very spacious with two bathrooms! Very nice amenity while traveling with a 3rd person. We had our own dedicated parking spot. The apartment was clean. The staff were very friendly upon check in and showed us to the apartment. We discovered the heat wouldn't come on and when I reported it the staff were very quick to come over and fix it. The location can't be beat and is very walkable to Inverness.
We were in apartment 3 which is located in the back corner with another business. It could be a pain and even a hazard when one of their vehicles was parked in the entrance towards our apartment. Almost sprained an ankle walking around a vehicle in the dark when I couldn't see the break in the pavement. There's not good lighting when walking back there.
We elected to not have breakfast at the hotel. The first morning we asked if we could order cappuccinos. They said sure and pointed us to sit in the bar while they brought them over. They were very friendly about it. The next morning was a different front desk person and they seemed put off by our request. The vibe was very different from the first morning. Next time we'll just find a real coffee shop I guess.
The flooring is pretty beat up in spots and needs to be replaced.

Location for Eden Court Theatre. Lovely room and very good breakfast.

We loved the location. A short very pleasant rover walk takes you into the centre of town in 10 minutes.
Staff very friendly. The piano bar is excellent and we had 2 great evenings of entertainment.
Breakfasts were delicious. Freshly cooked and very well presented. Hotel is spotlessly clean.
Only thing that we can complain about was the temperature of the room. It was rather chilly and there was little heat from the radiators.

Location met our needs.
Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels.
Restaurant staff were lovely and helpful.
Stayed at hotel with granddaughter…’single’ beds were shockingly small…too small for me (I am a size 10 and not overweight!) and also 10yr old granddaughter who is a ballet dancer. Almost fell out of bed during night! 😩My daughter booked another twin room later in week and beds seemed to be standard size. I did not pay for breakfast but my daughter paid for both her and her daughter (who ate very little). I sat with them and ordered cup of tea (only enough for 1 small cup in pot)and took one slice of toast. Receptionist unsure what to charge…came back with £6 charge! Very disappointed as thought as ‘goodwill gesture’ they would have not charged! Overall the hotel is a little ‘tired’ looking and could do with upgrade.

The room was immaculate, beautiful views from the windows on to the River bank.
Unfortunately when untucking the bedding around the bottom of the large bed, I was surprised to find that it was still wet from the laundry and my room was very cold.
The Night Manager addressed the matter promptly and he too was shocked at the laundry. He replaced the bedding offering additional duvets and cranked up the heating externally, as the room temperature wasn't controlled by the radiator thermostat.
My only other observation is that it would be helpful to provide tea and coffee facilities rather than coffee only.
I would have no hesitation in returning or recommending the hotel as blips happen but the Manager rectified the matter very quickly.

There was ample parking. Check-in was straightforward. The room had plenty space. The room and bathroom were very clean. The location is fantastic, especially for Eden Court, and the views across the river are nice.
The room was a bit cold, and so was the bar area in the afternoon. There didn't seem to be many staff around but I appreciate our visit was during the off season. The main complaint was the noise from the shower in the next door room - it sounded like someone in our wardrobe with a leaf blower! It also woke us up suddenly and very early.

Love this hotel. I’ve stayed many times with work but on this occasion went with my partner. We stayed in a club room in the annex next door to the main building and it was very comfortable. The weather was freezing but there was an additional heater in the room which made it very cozy. Dinner and breakfast were excellent and the property is spotlessly clean. Beautiful position on the side of the river with ample parking and easy to get to everywhere. Will always go back here when in Inverness.
Nothing could have been better. Very good value hotel.

Friendly, helpful staff. Close to city centre. Huge room. Spotless and well appointed. Breakfast was good with huge amount of salmon and wasn't too expensive.
Right next to river with excellent walkway and interesting surroundings.
Only slight improvement I would have liked is a kettle with tea making .

Very friendly professional staff, great location, very clean hotel and great value for money. This is a great hotel and we've stayed her multiple times over the years.
The full Scottish breakfast was very tasty and well cooked apart from the tattie scone which was saturated in so much oil and actually shattered when I put my fork into it, it was inedible.
The restaurant menu was a little unexpected and looking for something plainer to eat, I opted for the ribeye steak at £38 so was expecting something spectacular for that price. I asked for a break between my starter and the main, the server checked with me to see if I was ready for my main which was great so I was then expecting the steak to be cooked and my main arrive 5-10 mins later. However, my steak came out straight away and it was very evident that it had been sitting stewing (not resting) on the pass for quite some time and with nothing to suggest that it had been grilled, it was a pasty brown colour. It was edible but certainly not worth the £38, these are London prices. The sesame miso broccoli side was almost raw which I don't mind but it came in pot of watery liquid which wasn't pleasant.
I had a great room (#24) overlooking the river. The only issue I had was in the morning I had noticed that the toilet wasn't flushing away properly taking several attempts and when you pressed it to flush, a filmy water came gurgling up through the shower waste trap onto the base of the shower. Before taking a shower I turned it on to wash away any of the muck that had come up through the shower trap but the shower tray just filled up with water and didn't drain away until after my very quick shower. I had to try and stand on sides of the shower tray to avoid my feet getting in the water. So there's obviously a major blockage in the pipes affecting this room and so I reported this to reception that morning and they said they would get it addressed with some urgency.

It was a lovely hotel with very nice social areas. Bedrooms were beautifully furnished
We had no heating in our bedroom and as there was no spare rooms we ended up going to bed with our clothes on. When we mentioned it at checkout response was ‘these things happen’!!!!!

Location, idyllic - right on the riverside. Ben was super professional and very friendly. Breakfast was excellant quality and plentiful which set us up for the whole day. The breakfast waitresses were warm and welcoming, however the lady with the blonde hair was exceptional at serving and really stood out to us although sadly, we didn't get her name:(
Nothing - our stay was perfect. We had 2 small dogs with us and the staff made them feel welcome too!

Smooth check in and lovely small cottage behind the hotel. Lots of parking and facilities within the cottage were all excellent. Great breakfast and evening meal in the hotel restaurant too. Ness bank is an excellent location in the heart of a lovely city.
I liked everything about this place but, given low season, felt the cottage may have been less expensive.

Whenever we go to Inverness on business (at least once a year) we always stay at the Glenmoriston. It is always consistently excellent. We usually dine in the bistro which on a Friday has live music. The bar staff and hotel staff couldn't be nicer and incredibly accommodating. Thoroughly recommend - not just for business stays but for weekends sway.
Nothing to dislike
