The location is great for downtown and busing. The staff was very accommodating and helpful with directions and luggage.
Food at the restaurant is also excellent.

Pros: very central, handy locations, lovely staff, comfy room, nice decor, big bathroom for the size of my room. I didn't try the food for dinner but the bar location is nice, with a decent breakfast.
Cons: given the age and design of the building, there were some minor issues e.g. I didn't have hot water/radiators for the first day (this was fixed immediately when reported then worked great); *very* loud, creaky old floorboards and thin walls mean neighbours' movements/noises are easily heard; decor and size of window in the room makes it quite dark; slightly stale damp smell comes from the bathroom so need to constantly leave the window open.

Lovely lady at breakfast.
Room was very noisy, floorboards in the room creaked and I struggled to sleep with the floorboards cracking in the room next door.
