I reserved a river view room- it was stunning. Nice comfortable chair and small table to sit by. Bathroom tiny but shower was good, heated towel rack was nice. I wish there had been a small fridge in the room but not a deal breaker. One plug by the bed, No USB ports anywhere. Staff absolutely lovely. I ate twice in McNabs the restaurant connected to the hotel. Food was good and nice selection available. Location was great. 3 minute walk to my tour pick up spot.

Location was good and the reception and Bar team were friendly. The room was basic and in the Attic. Ok
The bathroom was adequate but needed work

The location was very good. Brilliant view of the castle. Maybe not worth £300 per night though.
The food was terrible, ordered a med/rare steak. It’s was tougher than an old leather boot and darker in colour. The roast chicken beast was so dry also.
I never tried the breakfast due to the disappointment of dinner.
There is no car park either
