Room was lovely and warm, as we stayed at the beginning of February.
Room was a good size and Bathroom had a shower and Bath.
Very accommodating and their own carpark, which we did have to pay for.
Very clean.
Resturant served lovely food.
Nothing. All good.

The hotel was very close to city center and was a very easy walk to the shops. The rooms were very cozy and perfect for our stay. The staff was very nice and helpful throughout our stay. We had breakfast included and it was a nice little spread. The restaurant also had a good selection for dinner. It felt like the staff cared very much about whether our stay was comfortable. If we’re in Inverness again, we’ll definitely stay here.

Traditional Scottish breakfast was very good. Everything was fresh. Lovely decor and atmosphere in the breakfast / dinning room
We stayed in one of the apartment "Ness Bank". Absolutely great, room for improvement: lick of paint in the stair well and check the self closing mechanism of the front door.

The location of this property was the highlight as it is right on the river bank a close walk to the main city centre and just over the bridge for tour pickups. It is a lovely building with character and is well decorated
The heating in the room was entirely inadequate for this type of property. The one single radiator for the room was not working (even when turned to the highest setting was easily touchable without any heat). When we informed hotel staff of this and how cold the room was (negative temperatures and deep snow outside) they said they were aware of the problem and that it was likely just because they are old. They gave us and extra quilt and small oil heater which also failed to actually generate any heat. For a location that regularly receives cold whether- the combination of non-glazed windows and inadequate heating is really not worth the money

Clean and cosy room with basic self catering facilities so you could prepare food. Kettle, toaster and microwave were provided. Good comfortable bed and decent shower. Great bedside light for reading was a bonus.
Breakfast was ok but some vegetarian choices eg sausages would have been nice.
All staff friendly and helpful. Good central location for everything, would stay again
I would have liked a seat in my room as sitting on my bed became tiring.
More cutlery would have been good as one knife, fork and spoon isn't that helpful when preparing food although manageable.
No fridge in the room so food cannot be kept chilled so be aware when purchasing items.

The location of the property was very good, and while we were there we did not have any noise from neighboring rooms (but I don’t think we had any neighbors). The room was okay and had what we needed. Staff was very nice and breakfast was pretty good. Location is great, right below Inverness Castle, at the river, and a nice stroll to downtown.
Pay for river view! Other rooms only have small windows directly facing other outdoor walls. The bed was extremely bouncy, every move will wake up (or launch) your partner. Our room (610) als had a major gap in the tub wall and finishes were generally quite poor. Finally, and I’m sure this was with the best intentions, our room was made / towels cleaned during the day while we left the “do not disturb” sign on the door. At least in my mind that means “do not enter this room”, so that felt a bit like an invasion of privacy. But again, I’m sure intentions were good.

Brewery is fantastic and a great attribute to the hotel. We had stayed here before, but it now has new owners who are busy renovating and updating everything. It's a good location and very scenic by the river with the snow falling. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I would stay again.
Dogs in hotel rooms aren't ideal. The one next door barked frequently. We were upstairs and there is no lift and no help offered to get suitcases upstairs. The tartan carpet made the stairs difficult to see and one of our group misstepped and fell. Our group was not close as requested and the layout of the hotel meant we were quite far apart. The breakfast was very disappointing and the watery porridge was more like gruel.

Everything was perfect, very cozy and wonderful.
The hotel is located right in the city center, in an excellent location below the castle and very close to the clock tower.
It sits right on the River Ness, with a lovely view of the river from the room window.
Breakfast was very good, and Aga at the breakfast reception was absolutely lovely, welcoming us with a warm smile and making us feel at home.
We will definitely stay again.
We wanted to try the distillery, but after a long day of tours we were too tired, maybe next time!

Location was great. Nice breakfast.
Very small en-suite. A parking charge that I felt was unnecessary. A very late check in time and a early check out time

Good breakfast
Didn’t like that rooms were spread out in different buildings. Also uncomfortable mattress.
Bar closes at 10:30pm even for residents.

I loved the atmosphere the location. Comfortable room. Convenient location.
We come to Inverness frequently from Orkney and stay over.
The room was dirty. The bathroom taps all had black muck around them. The skirting boards and edges of carpets filthy. All light switches were also filthy.
Would love to come back but reluctant with this

Location is good and central to what you need
The bar and main part of the hotel seemed lovely
When we arrived we wasn’t staying in the actual main hotel but in a property next to it, the room was cold and dated
The bathroom had a lot of mould and rust and there was a lot of dust within the main bedroom

Absolutely adored this place, it was so cozy and close to town centre. My little window that looked out to the river I loved! Very quiet, couldn’t hear any of my neighbours.
The shower drain overflowed quite a bit. A little hard to control the heating, sometimes I was freezing and other times overheating.

Lovely spot by the river. We were in a different part of the hotel to our friends but it wasn't a problem as it wasn't far to walk from one building to the next. Nice sized room with adequate hanging space.Very comfy bed.Bathroom was clean and the shower worked well.
Everything was fine and as we expected.

The breakfast buffet arrangments were not very customer friendly, walking with vips of coffee, food selection basic, ask for friend eggs and that was not a problem.
Fridge and drinking water in the room.

Toilet took ages to refill ant the extractor did not turn off unless you pressed the button on the ceiling
On arrival I was asked for a swipe of my credit card, but when I came to check out I was asked for this again as it could not be found.
At the bar We asked for a whiskey menu, the barman told us “ I am the menu “. No prices shown…..beware!

Impressive view and helpful staff
Breakfast could have been more extensive and suffered from the buffet method due to large influx of guests at same time.
8.0 / 10.0
I loved the breakfast buffet and all the options for a take away lunch or breakfast in bed. The beds were very comfortable, and staff was very accommodating when I asked for rooms on lower floors since my travelmates had some mobility issues.
I was surprised how spread out the property was. I booked two rooms, and we were in completely different buildings, and there were 2 or 3 buildings between us so it was kind of awkward to see each other.
I didn't realize there were so many options to participate in the hotel's other amenities.

The room as whole was nice, however we had to wait over an hour to be able to check in and the shower in our room had no hot water the morning if check out.

Awesome location although my room had a window to a wall 🤷
Very noisy room, old facilities, a huge gap in value for money

Location. Comfortable room.
Unfortunately parking was an unexpected paid extra - I hadn't noticed it in the hotel advert. The night we stayed the Cathedral across the river had bell ringing going on until 10pm. There was also a very loud party going on in the function room below our room. Bagpipes, dancing, singing - the works. Reception didn't inform us this was happening. Breakfast was poor.

Great location right on the water. Close to the center of downtown but also a nice quiet spot
Figured parking would be included but the charge 12 per night.

Location and room size.
Most expensive accommodation for UK tour. Additional carparking fees. No lift. No porterage to assist with bags to top floor. Noisy plumbing. Poorly chosen shower head did not fit wall bracket, spraying off to side instead of down.
Otherwise all was clean tidy and well maintained. Have stayed in much better value for money.

From arrival to departure we were extremely well catered for with very pleasant staff who "have time for you".
II couldn't find anything wrong with the hotel. We have been to Inverness many times.
4.0 / 10.0
Location was good and parking was great
We ended up in the accessible room which was in a dark hallway next to the kitchen with lots of noise from staff in the hallway. The drain in the shower didn’t drain quickly enough so we had to stop showering midway so that the bathroom floor didn’t flood. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast looked very nice but the coffee was terrible and the food wasn’t great. The croissants and fruit were good, though.
