Their parking entrance was too tight for a BMV X5! I would recommend a very small car to maneuver in or better driving skills than mine. I was ok parking in the streets for the night.

Absolutely wonderful.

A lovely breakfast with excellent porridge and plenty of coffee as well as a beautiful arrangement of fresh fruit — I would have expected a plain fruit bowl, which is no disgrace, but what I got was a truly lovely glass filled with every fruit imaginable, even a Chinese gooseberry, in an artistic manner. A charming Victorian villa, spotlessly clean, warm, friendly, within easy reach of the city and the river. A note — I answered the question about a romantic place to stay with a “yes”. I’m not a married man and hope to enter the religious life someday but there was a young couple at breakfast who seemed extremely happy. Excellent.

Cosy and quiet bedroom with the location being close to the centre of Inverness. Great hosts!

The hosts Gary and Debbie were so friendly and accommodating, and made the check in easy - we ended up chatting for a bit when we first arrived which was really nice. The location was great, a short walk to grocery stores and the centre of town, we walked in several times a day. The room was great, super spacious and clean, with a very cosy bed and lots of snacks and drinks set up. We were surprised at how quiet it was, we didn't realise there were other guests in the surrounding rooms until we saw them the next morning as it was almost completely silent. Breakfast was amazing, so many options, tasted great, and big portion sizes. Way better than going out for breakfast at a cafe. We felt very welcome and we slept great! Would definitely visit again for a longer period!

Shower pressure was a tad low, but got hot and was not a big issue.

Incredible

This is the best B&B I have ever stayed in. The location is good, the room is so comfortable with everything we needed, the staff (including the dog) were so lovely, and the breakfast is incredible. So sad that our stay was short, but we hope to visit Inverness in the future, and this will definitely be our choice

Charming, Comfortable Stay with Lovely Hosts and Great Breakfast

Drumdale Bed and Breakfast is in a great location, just a short walk from the city centre. Parking is available at the back of the property, which was convenient. The room we stayed in was spacious and beautifully presented, with very comfortable beds. We appreciated the small treats and thoughtful touches provided. The breakfast, which was included, was of high quality and served with genuine hospitality. The host was very welcoming and made the stay feel warm and personal.

The room was located upstairs, which could be a challenge for guests with mobility issues. Additionally, the shower could be stronger, as the water pressure was on the weak side.

Felt like home – but better!

Felt like home – but better! I stayed here with a family member and we both absolutely loved it! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Everyone was incredibly friendly, kind, and always ready to help — you can really tell they care about every little detail. Our room was super cozy, spotless, and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and more. We felt so comfortable and relaxed the whole time. And the breakfast? Amazing! So fresh and delicious, with plenty of variety. You could tell a lot of thought and care went into every part of it — such a lovely way to start the day. Honestly, it’s rare to come across a place where everything feels so personal and thoughtful. We felt genuinely looked after, and it made our trip even more special. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming place to stay!

Lovely accommodation and great value for money.

Our accommodation was very well presented and in a great location. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was delicious (and very generous servings!).

The bathroom was a little small but had everything that we needed.

I was pleased to find a single room at such a good price and it exceeded my expectations. The room was cosy, attractive and perfectly clean. Bed comfy. I particularly appreciated the large mug for making a decent-sized cup of tea. Loads of options for breakfast. The owner was welcoming and helpful. I would definitely book again.

Go go go for it

Nothing more to say than superb! We absolutely loved our stay here. The place is well signposted and easy to find. Parking is directly accessible and free. As for the rooms, they are very clean and equipped with everything you might need: tea, coffee, extra pillows. The beds are very comfortable. In the bathroom, all soaps are provided as well as hygiene products. The only downside is that there was no toilet brush. The welcome was great – as soon as we arrived, we received the keys without any waiting time, and the owners gave us all the necessary information. Breakfast was generous and above all excellent! Homemade with care, it was pure bliss! Go for it!!!

Just lovely

The lovingly designed breakfast room and prepared breakfast. Flowers everywhere. Fresh fruit and everything was freshly prepared, cake on the table to try. I loved all the details, nothing was missing. Great quiet location, restaurants in walking distance (try the vegetarian pizza at alba kitchen…yum, just 350 meters to walk and you can take out) Would definitely stay at the Drumdale again. Very friendly couple (and doggy Isla :-)

Great hosts and hearty breakfast

Another very pleasant stay at Drumdale. The single room I stayed in is perfect for solo traveller. The breakfast is a highlight- you order the evening before; and there’s lots to choose from. On this occasion, I even got the chance to take away some home-baking, which was a thoughtful touch.

Beautiful guest house in a supreme location close to the centre of town. Nicely furnished and comfortable room. Private parking at the back of the property and Debbie allowed me to park my motorcycle in the garage for added peace of mind. Lovely breakfast and excellent value for money.

Lovely B&B

Excellent service, great location and the breakfast was delicious and hearty! Yummy treats in the room and in the entrance. Gary was very inviting and kind.

The bed was odd as it arched in the middle so I couldn’t snuggle my hubby. Once I settled on my side it was a comfortable sleep.
