Liked the ability to drop the bag early. Would’ve been even better if we could’ve accessed the spa facilities prior to booking in. Overall the quality of the building, the room, the additional space, facilities and ease of booking in were fantastic.
A personal choice but our room was too warm with no way of changing the temperature so the window was opened and we were lucky to have a fan.
Cannot fault the diligence and professionalism of all staff members who were incredibly busy whilst maintaining professional expertise. Drinks at the bar were amazing and the breakfast one of the best.
Downsides we stayed on a Saturday and didn’t bank on external bookings. Whilst they provide an important resource they distracted from our comfort, whilst trying to use the lounge in the evening some 20 females took over the lounge and should have been redirected by staff into the bar area forcing us to curtail our quiet evening which was a shame
As mentioned above, it’s a personal minor thing. Overall the hotel offers fantastic value for money with exceptional staff, good facilities in a central location. We would stay again but would avoid peak weekend times

The spa, staff, room and location were great.
Food was ok. Breakfast buffet flow not great. Corridor lights too bright overnight: better if they were motion activated.

No tea and coffee facilities or mini fridge which I would expect for the price

The hotel was lovely. Really nice location, we got a room overlooking Inverness Castle which was amazing. Rooms were very spacious, had an amazing shower too.
Pool , sauna and jacuzzi were all lovely too.
The car park was shambolic. Quite a few spaces taken up by a skip / construction work reducing an already small car park to even smaller.

Lovely hotel, really nice friendly staff! Only problem was that the lift was broken and me and my friend had the top floor. Overall though a great weekend at this hotel. Food and drink excellent
No lift

Everything was ok, the hotel lift was out of service so the walk up the stairs was a challenge.
everything was ok really

Welcoming staff, warm and comfortable bedroom, good leisure facilities, nice breakfast
A hotel of the standard should be providing proper orange juice at breakfast - the stuff out the machine taste like it’s made from powder

It is perfectly situated for exploring and walking around Inverness and easy driving to Loch Ness and other beauty spots.

Location was very central, bed was super comfy, hotel had great facilities and awesome shower.
The lift was broken and we were on the top floor. Fan in bathroom wasn’t very good at extracting steam.

Swimming pool, sauna, spa, etc
Food was very good
I'm allergic to dogs and I didn't notice that the hotel was dog friendly, my bedroom was a big problem for me, eyes red and watering, nose running like a river and my throat was constricting, I couldn't figure it out until I heard a dog barking inside the hotel, the bedrooms are used to keep the pet's in, my fault for not considering the dog friendly aspect of the hotel, I won't be back, a real shame as it's perfect in every other way

Got an upgrade to a river view room. Room was excellent no complaints.
Breakfast was an absolute shambles! 35mins waiting fir te & toast.Young staff members wandering about like lost sheep. My order was taken 5 times! Didn’t go for breakfast on second morning and it was Inc in my room price it was so bad.If I come back I certainly won’t be having breakfast.Very loud tourists took my breakfast as they were being very demanding and staff were so scared ti argue with them. There was no order in that dining room .Needs better management!

Hotel is located near the center. Beautiful river view. Room was very big, but bathroom too small.
I have very bad experience with online check in. I paid the room twice. I got two different whatsup massages and i was in hurry so i paid for the room. But later i saw that was stolen from me. I told the staff about it but nobody paid attention. In system of BW hotel chain they have phishing. I booked 8 hotels in one week, only here was a big problem.🥲🥲🥲🥲

Great location and clean, excellent facilities with pool and saunas.
Car park was a nightmare. Too many cars/ over subscribed due to sharing with spa club. Additional parking available but 300 yds away. Unloading luggage difficult.
Breakfast (optional to pay for) was not as good as expected. Buffet breakfast was poorly stocked and queues waiting for food to replenished. Coffee was terrible and over brewed.

We thought the location was excellent, our room was immaculately clean and an excellent size for the cost. We also ate in the hotel both nights and the food was delicious, the service was attentive and it was great to have access to such a high standard of facilities after a busy day in Inverness.

Lge glass of white wine a wee bit pricey

Location was excellent for getting in to town, just a walk over the bridge. Lovely river and Castle views.
I found the bed too hard from me and didn't sleep well at all, hips were sore in the morning.
The tiny lift broke down and we were at the top on the 3rd floor so that was a bit of a pest with bags and suitcase.
Breakfast plates were not heated and i thought the food could of been hotter

Was in a great place, room was fantastic and so was the pool
The room we had 503 it was great although I could hear whenever someone flushed the toilet or ran water from the room above so I woke up a lot.

Hotel is beautiful staff very friendly rooms are very comfortable and decor is of high quality would definitely recommend.
Jacuzzi wasn’t working for full duration of holiday, coffee machine wasn’t working either and should have been fixed sooner

I thought the location was excellent, breakfast was great.
The beds were really uncomfortable which is the biggest reason why I probably would not book this hotel again. Also they seem to be really unorganised, I settled all my bills yet they keep on trying to take more money out of my account, which is just annoying. The showers were not great, took a long to time to heat and the water pressure was not good. To be honest I maybe wouldn’t have been so disappointed had the star rating been lower but this was meant to be a four star hotel.

The location is great. Close to shops and restaurants. Nice walks along the river. Good bar and leisure facilities. The bed was very comfy.
Parking is not great. Very limited spaces and if you turn up in the evening it's almost impossible to find a space. The jacuzzi was dirty at the bottom which was a shame as we didn't want to use it. The bathroom in our room was more 3 star than 4 star and quite dated.
6.0 / 10.0
Location, cleanliness, pool
Paper thin walls. Heard snoring until 5 in the morning. Squeaky floor boards. Heard everyone walking around. Couldn't sleep. No grab rails in bathroom. Despite being very fit it is still awkward to climb out a slippery bath after a shower

Room was excellent, stunning view as was upgraded for free. Location fantastic on riverside direct opposite the castle.
Parking is a nightmare. Have EV spaces but usually all taken up with non-EV cars, people block you in and the staff do not manage the car park effectively.
Breakfast is dire for vegans, beans, fried tomatoes and greasy mushrooms.

Beautiful view of the river and castle. Room was lovely but bathroom was a little dated. There was no safe in the room or mini fridge which you would expect for the price we paid. Sustainability seems to be the excuse for not including various items in the room unless you go and ask for them. Breakfast was good on the whole with a good choice and items were replaced quickly. Thought the hotel was overpriced.
As above.

Fantastic hotel. We arrived with a large kayak after completing the Great Glen Way. Staff were very accommodating in storing the boat. Receptionist kindly upgraded us to a larger room with waterside view. Great sauna and spa area.

Room was good size, clean and the bathroom very good
Hotel reasonably well positioned
Food was dire. Can you really burn fish and chips!
Staff mainly disinterested with a couple of exceptions. The duty manager had a loud argument with the bar manager directly in front of us on the bistro. Evening meals mainly taken by bus tours most others eat out or in the bar.
Parking is available but spaces are insufficient.Made worse by the fact that many are occupied by leisure club members. In 2 of our 3 nights we had to park off site

The destination and the hotel were very good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful
The walls were very thin, so we could hear people talking in other rooms. Every step from the floor above was also clearly audible because the old wooden floors creaked a lot. There was a couple staying above us who kept walking back and forth, and my partner and I couldn’t sleep well because of the noise.

The location was fantastic. The majority of the staff were extremely helpful. The spa facilities were very nice.
The room was very hot and the window was locked. The quality of the food in the restaurant very much let the hotel down and there are no loungers in the spa for relaxation.
