2 day family stay

We were warmly welcomed by the host, who kindly waited for us to help with the check-in process. The guest house is situated only a 3-minute stroll from High Street, even though it is in a peaceful area. The bed was incredibly nice and cozy. It was a clean and comfortable stay. Overall, everything was fantastic

It was in a quiet and wonderful location! The hosts were fantastic. Bed was comfortable!

When we were staying, no breakfast was offered- a bit of a disappointment after reading some rave reviews! Also a fan in the room would have improved conditions, it was quite warm. Bedding and curtains could do with a refresh, there was a musty odor by the curtains where I was sleeping.

Smaller than expected, no staff available if you needed anything and was not told breakfast was unavailable that week though I specifically asked if I could book it as we were staying in the apartment! Was told not necessary as you paid at time!

Cozy Guesthouse

The location is great, near to the city center, cafés and restaurants are near by. The staff was super nice and helpful. Check-in and check-out as well as the communication was very easy and reliable. The room was clean and everything was as expected.

The beds were quite short for us as tall people.

Loved Maggie and Malcom. We really appreciated their suggestions and warm and inviting demeanor. It was a great location, very central to city center. Will definitely recommend.

What a nice place with an excellent location.

Such a lovely family who owns this B&B. We could not stay for breakfast but they graciously left little "goodie" breakfast bags at our door - this was so appreciated as we were on the go a lot. Room was very clean.

Bathroom was very nice but very small - this was fine for us (we are not very tall), but if you are tall (over 6 feet) you may not fit!

The Pitfaranne Guest House was an excellent and comfortable base from which to explore Inverness.

The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. The location was in a quiet neighborhood that overlooked the old town. It was an easy and beautiful walk to many of the highlights of Inverness. Malcolm and Maggie were extremely friendly and helpful. Communication via email prior to our visit was prompt, friendly and helpful. Malcolm recommended two great restaurants and made reservations for us, so all we had to do was show up.

Our room and ensuite bathroom were adequate, but quite "wee." They were, however, very clean, and we had everything we needed.

This was a lovely guest house. Great facilities, clean and location was fab. Breakfast was absolutely lovely and Maggie and Malcom couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Definitely recommend.

The room was as expected- clean and comfortable. Easy walk to points of interest in town. I only sat for breakfast once but it was very tasty and filling. Maggie and Malcolm made me feel very welcome.

This is the best place to stay whilst in Inverness.

If you are looking for a great place to stay whilst in Inverness then look no further. Malcom and Maggie were absolutely brilliant; friendly and welcoming. The guest house is only 5 minutes walk from the city centre, yet it’s in a quiet street so you will get a goodnight sleep. Maggie’s makes a Michelin star breakfast to set you for the day. They are both great hosts and went above and beyond so that I enjoyed my time Inverness. I would definitely stay here again.

Brilliant

From when we arrived we were greeted with smiles and also knew our names, which shows attention to detail. The rooms were perfect beds very comfortable and en-suite very clean, great shower. The breakfast made to order give your selection day before. The fresh fruit salad is presented nicely. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay went well.

Breakfast was amazing. Off street parking was perfect as the streets are narrow. The owners Maggie and Malcolm were friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Ideally situated just far enough from the town centre to be quiet but close enough to walk there in 5 minutes.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious. We specially loved the vegetarian haggis! The hosts were super attentive, while also giving us space and privacy. They gave us great advice on local things to see around. The location is perfect to go into the city centre, just a minute away from the castle.
