Bank House

The property was located about 10 minutes from train station-very convenient. The room was small but very clean. Housekeeping came in daily. The one concern was the hot water which very hot. Possibility of scalding if not careful.

The Bank House was tucked away in a neighborhood. Not your typical hotel accommodation. Kind of a cross between a hotel and AirBnB. Private parking available. Upon arrival, had to ring the bell for someone to greet you and let you in. This and checkout were really the only times we had contact with staff. Room was quite large and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. One of the most during our 12 day stay in Scotland. Bathroom with plenty of room. However, the toilet required a below parallel squat to get to and a Russian twist to access the toilet paper.😂 Parking was 8£ per day. Please just roll this into the price of the room. Overall, would absolutely consider staying here again.

Rooms have been recently renovated, the young lady at the desk actually took the time to show us to our rooms. I have never had that happen before.

Very clean room and friendly staff. Location was extremely convenient, though the trip uphill from the station was a bit hard. It was too close for a taxi though.
