City Break

The location was very central, just a short walk to Inverness City Centre. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was exceptional. A very clean room which we could not fault.

Everyone is different concerning the mattress preferences, but we found it hard, especially as I was recovering from a back injury.

We knew it was a digital entry. But they said they would have in person check-in from 4 to 6. We arrived a bit past four and there was nobody there. Didn’t feel very welcoming.

It really is a charming little guesthouse with excellent value for money. But if I was to have to pick one negative, the only tiny one I can think if is that its not the most beautiful of buildings. But that is really nit picking. Its fabulous 👌🏻

Situating at the quiet ally which make it a peaceful night for me after the drive from Skye. The roomand host is lovely. There are parking right in front of tge house. Short walk to town and many eateries around the area.

Wonderful

Our host, Willy, was friendly & helpful esp with questions on directions, etc. We booked 2rooms, they were same price but the other room (where my other two friends stayed) was smaller, they said the sink was very small as well as the bed. My other friend & I landed on the family room (lucky us), which was spacious & had a bigger bathroom, which worked well for us. Wish all rooms for double occupancy were like the family room 😄 Otherwise, we felt safe & had a wonderful stay 😍 Would recommend

The stairs as we had to haul our heavy luggages up and down.

Well located for central Inverness and the Castle area. Room was good. Breakfast could be better.

The room was large, with an extra bed, and good storage space. Clean. The location was excellent. Quiet, but close to the town centre, and particularly to some of the better restaurants and bars in Inverness. The breakfast was served quickly in a pleasant room, overlooking the Castle. The service was friendly. We came by train, the station being walkable, but there was easy parking in front, which was good as we had a day trip by car.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing to us, particularly given the reviews we had read. Porridge was good, but there was only tinned fruit, and the quality of the ingredients for the cooked breakfast and coffee were not that high compared to many other bed and breakfasts and hotels we have stayed in. In the room, was full fat UHT milk cartons. We prefer slimmed or semi-skimmed milk (we had some sachets we had brought ourselves so didn't ask if there was semi). The room got a bit hot - only one window of the two could be opened and then only partially.

Excellent location

The location is great, the room was a good size, decorated beautifully and the beds were comfy.

A small oversight but there was some mould on the loaf of bread at breakfast. We felt it was on the expensive side to stay there but decided to book because of the reviews but we were a bit disappointed.

It was a very enjoyable stay. The room is very big and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of options. The owner is very nice. The location is perfect, 5min walking distance to the centre.

It was my first time staying at a guesthouse, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience! The host was incredibly kind and helpful, warmly welcoming us upon arrival. The location was excellent—close to the city center—and the breakfast was delicious with generous portions. the room was spacious, clean and beds were comfy. What truly made the stay special was the host’s hospitality.

Wonderful night in Inverness!

We loved our stay at Ardentorrie Guest House. We had three rooms for our family and everyone enjoyed their stay. The description said the beds were kings and they are US queens that was the only thing that was the only small thing. We loved the breakfast.
