I love that it is very close to the station. I was missing some place for my stuff, needed to pack it under bed, but my roommates were fine with it, luckily. Bed was a bit adventurous, I was staying upstairs, but super comfy, I had some nice sleep. I also loved the view from our window. Personnel were nice. I also loved free coffee, lovely kitchen and common space, so I could pack my stuff there and not make noise early in the morning.
Be prepared for some stairs. Bathroom is not comfy for a long stay.

I had a pleasant stay at Inverness student hostel, it was my first hostel experience and was good. I only stayed for a night, slept and checked out early morning. Breakfast option was good, I noticed in the night while checking in lot of people having fun and chit chatting, sounded and looked really good - would have been fun if I had more days. Next time :)

Great location. 2 mins from Inverness Castle. Friendly welcome. Kitchen well stocked.
Room too cramped & stuffy. Lounge looked very tired & in need of a refresh.
