I might say it was ok for one night.

It’s a good location, even though it’s a small city, then everywhere is a good location :D They have a cozy lobby perfect for social interactions. When I arrived there they were playing Harry Potter in a room for the guests, I loved it although I was in a packed itinerary and didn’t stay. It’s a simple place, perfect for a short stay.

It was more expensive than hostels I’ve been with better facilities. The bed was no more than ok. They ask us to make off the bed, I find quite weird, I don’t complain though. The first staff I met didn’t look friendly and when I asked some questions again he looked quite impatient. The others though were friendly and helpful. They have a lock down time, and you’re not allowed to come in after some point.

I loved staying at this hostel. I'd be happy to come back someday

There is a really cute and cosy common space with a nice view. Everything is clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and there's an option to buy a set of ingredients for a basic breakfast. Location is perfect for excursions to the river and around the town.

The open space between the beds in 6-people room was really small and it was a little hard to move around and organize personal belongings, jackets etc. only on the half of bed without additional hangers or closets

Excellent hostel, convenient for short stays.

The bed was surprisingly comfy and the sheets clean. The staff were very friendly and kept the common areas clean. The location was excellent being a 5-10 minute walk from good restuarants, pubs, and local attractions as well as being in walking distance from the local bus and train station.

Lack of space/area to hang coats/jackets etc in the room as well as general storage area. Curtains for the beds would have been nice also for privacy/reducing disturbance when someone turned on the room lights.

All in all, great value for money and helpful polite staff.

Great location and value for money. Free tea and coffee and a very chilled atmosphere.

Showers and washing areas cramped. Squeezed 6 bunks in a space for 4 bunks left little room to manoeuvre. Bunks could do with individual lamps so sharers do not disturb each other in the early or late hours.

Great location and very cute and fun!!

The bed names were cute and the flexibility with the time you’re allowed to come in, access to parking as well was greatly appreciated!

Great location, close to the city centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the place is clean, quiet, and has a really nice vibe. There is also free parking for cars!

Easy to access, spacious enough, washroom was clean if not perfectly practical. For the price you can't go wrong. Staff was nice but I've seen friendlier.

Hip hostel with great location

Wonderful location for this very cool hostel. We were able to walk all over Inverness and there is a parking lot to use nearby. The gathering area was decorated super cute and there was a good vibe for hanging out. The kitchen was very organized and it was nice to have a fridge to store personal times. Definitely got our money's worth and would recommend this to anyone who is good with sharing rooms and restrooms.

One of the showers was out of order, with limited numbers it would have been nice for that to be fixed asap.

Great hostel, close to the centre of Inverness with all the amenities you could need.

Lots of communal space, there were multiple areas to hang out in. The beds were comfortable and clean.

Kind and inviting environment with welcoming staff!

It was a cozy environment. The staff were lovely and helpful. The location was great as well. It made it easy to meet people.

There was no place to store my luggage. I also wish that there was a privacy curtain.

Good location, but I wouldn't repeat the experience

The location is very good, close to cafés, restaurants, and the bus station. I only interacted with the staff at the reception upon arrival, and they were friendly.

The cleanliness was poor, especially in the showers. The shower is a small square, and there’s nowhere to put or hang clothes and towels—just a small hanging basket to place the toiletries. It was dirty and full of hair and would flood a bit. The toilets are shared and mixed. The beds are not very comfortable, and the room curtain doesn't fully block out the light. I couldn't rest well. There are no individual power outlets for each bed—just one power strip shared among everyone in the room. There are also no individual lights for the beds, only a single overhead light in the room. There are no lockers.

Will definitely be back!

Very cosy and welcoming, cute bedrooms and well equipped kitchen. The breakfast available was great value for money - quick and simple.

Showers were a bit dirty and the hot water didn’t work - if you like invigorating showers you’ll have no problems.

Poor beds. Had to use a stool to get to the upper bunk. No sockets near to the bed. Extention lead with a multi plug in options my opinion Very Poor. Showers. Although hot, the water wasn’t constant and the cubicle was small. I Wished I had paid the extra to visit other hostels in the city.

Well you get what you pay for. At least we got a good sleep surprisingly.

The price was good. We had a clean and comfortable bed in 6 mixed bed room. It was fun to meet other friendly people of varied nationalities. Private parking.

Well the common staircase was smelly and the carpet has seen better days. Showers were very impractical with no space to put your dry stuff. One shower didn't have a functioning light. The whole place is very crowded. Kitchen was tiny, but had everything we needed. Would be nice if each bed had a private lockable locker so you wouldn't worry for your valuables while asleep. Room got stuffy as the window was towards a busy road hence couldn't stay opened.

The lounge, kitchen, dining room and decor. It is also in a great location.

The fact that the shower room and toilets are shared by both genders, but it’s not a major issue, you soon get used to it.

Sociable atmosphere

Well equipped kitchen. Free tea and coffee. Good communication at the reception. Acceptable accommodation for travellers on a shoestring budget. Sociable clientele. Pleasant lounge area with board games and a comfortable sofa. Night porter/security staff available to deal with any issues or concerns you may have. They can let you in late at night.

Dormitory style accommodation has its downside. Lack of privacy, no lockers in the room and no bed light. Also ventilation could be improved. The outside of the building has seen better days. First impressions count and I am afraid to say that this doesn't bode well. The whole place needs a makeover. Apart from the kitchen the other facilities e.g toilets and washrooms are not up to standard in my opinion.

A little diamond under the surface

Such a warm, inviting, friendly place. Everything you need for a night or two as long as you don’t mind what comes with sharing. The staff were great and the o the er travellers were friendly. Really glad I chose this location

It’s a bit run down. Don’t be put off by the outside but it could do with some volunteers to give it a spruce up. Just an idea but why don’t you offer a weekend of free Accomodation and get a bunch of travellers to stay and paint one day, sightsee the other. I’d be up for that.

This hostel was just what I was looking for.

The living area was comfortable, the kitchen had lots of equipment and dishes, and the staff were very helpful. Late check in was very helpful since I got there at midnight. Having to use a key to get into the room made me feel safe. The beds were comfortable.

Not worth it.

I arrived quite late in the evening so I appreciated to have found an acommodation which allowed late check-in.

This was one of the worst nights I ever had in a hostel. I hardly got any sleep, as they played really loud music until morning. Room was clean-ish, bathrooms were more the kind of don't look to closely.

Funky looking hostel with mediocre cleanliness and bad parking.

Location - only a short walk to the city center. Nice common area.

Room was too small for 6 people. The smell was horrible and there was a lot of noise from the street. There was a bug in one of the showers. Parking - someone dented my car in the car park. The accommodation has no security cameras there and they do not track which car is whose. Be careful where you park, especially when the car park is quite full.

The staff were lovely and around when needed. I liked that it was female dorm and nearby where needed to be for a tour.
