Location is always good same as breakfast
Didn’t prickly like our room. It was room 11 . Had to keep curtains and blinds closed as smoking area was out side window. Reception and bar area could have been a bit more tidier . We appreciate that there was Xmas party’s on but first impressions count when you enter a hotel.

The location
Room number 5. The shower is terrible, would be either stone cold or piping hot, no in between. The sliding shower door handle was hanging off and the seal between the doors was also hanging off. The toilet seat was squint (not a issue compared to the shower) in all honesty having to sponge bath in the sink because of a terrible shower is the highlight of a ruined holiday. No complaints were made because its not the type of person i am, just take the loss, but when paying £195 for 2 nights, a working shower would be nice

Very generous room size (we were in the townhouse across the street), very clean, lots of available parking, hot water and heating faultless, 600m to high street and castle. Pretty good meals at the restaurant.
No mixer tap in sink (so: very hot and very cold water from separate taps). Can get a bit stuffy, but didn’t want to leave the street-facing windows open at night as they open very wide and someone could conceivably climb in.

Initial welcome was warm.
As it was quiet I had been upgraded from a single to a double
The room had a toilet and shower. The toilet was stinking and the toilet brush looked like it had been. There The whole season.
I complained to the manager after I had left who was extremely rude and unpleasant.

We were upgraded to a suite. Staff were very friendly.
Click in room wasn’t working. No milk for coffee in room. Breakfast eggs were not free range- no big complaints but would just finish the place off.

Nothing really! Other than free parking! And the hotel had a bar!
No black out curtains, room was downstairs, shower was too small, bed was uncomfortable, bedroom was too small, price was very high, no view from window.

The apartment was spacious enough. Good location.
The beds could have been bigger and more spread out- one bed was a pull down bed from the wall. It was expensive for the lack of comfy, actual beds.

We were greeted by Moe at reception on the night we arrived. He was so attentive and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. He definitely went above and beyond for us during our weekend stay. The room was cozy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was good with a great variety of cereals and cereal bars, fruit juices and warm items. Moe was a great bartender for us during our time here too, and chatted with us til late. We would definitely come back and stay again if we venture back to Inverness. Thanks for having us.

Great room in the townhouse, very nice staff. Good breakfast.
Have to walk across the street for breakfast. Not a problem during our stay as the weather was superb, but may be an issue when typical Scottish rains happen.

Was upgraded to an apartment, which was lovely. Comfy bed and friendly staff. Right in the centre of Inverness.
The car park has limited spaces.

The location is near the center of the city and they have a huge parkinglot. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious with various option (cooked and buffet). We also enjoyed the tasty porridge.
The room was spacious with a comfortable bed.
We stayed for four nights and the room was in the basement with a light well view. The shower was a little bit narrow.

Location is great.
I booked two nights for 250£. When I arrived I was assigned room 12 which is in the basement without a window. Additionally, the walls in the room had a very sweet, irritating smell.
When I asked for another room, I was told there are no spare rooms. The staff called other hotels to get me a room but everything was booked. When I sent a request via booking.com to get a free-of-charge refund, suddenly there was a spare room in the basement. However, I could only stay there for one night and had to move to a room on the upper floor next night.
After staying one night, I decided to switch hotels. The room was right below the restaurant which means at 7am you cannot sleep anymore. You can hear every footstep. The room had the same smell as the previous one and gave me a headache. Additionally, there were stains on the covers.
I informed the staff I would not come back for a second night and asked if it’s possible to get a refund for the second night. I was told I should send a request via booking.com. This request is still awaiting any reaction from the hotel - 6 days after the stay.

We were upgraded to staying in apartment suites that were extremely well appointed. The staff was great and the breakfast was lovely the next morning. Having on site parking was also very helpful. The location was also perfect.
There was nothing that I didn't like

Good Breakfast, traditional Scottish look & decorations inside, look of the hotel from outside, close to Railway & Bus Stations, shops & town centre.
Walking route from the station was via a steep flight of steps which I was unaware of and was unable to use due to carrying my case and therefore had to find an alternative longer route. On arrival my room (room no. 3) was on the first floor with no lift. Once inside the room it was very small with one very small window (that I couldn't see out of) that had to be propped open with a piece of wood and with the fan on full constantly whilst in the room, bearing in mind the weather was hot and sunny all week the room was like an oven whenever I first walked in with no air conditioning.

Quaint property with friendly staff and a good breakfast. Location is walking distance to main town centre, bus station and train station. Rooms have an old charm about them.
Situated atop a terrace, so walking back means you will have a lot of steps to climb to get to the street. Family rooms need at least 2 fans as it can get stuffy especially in warm weather.

The room was clean and tidy, in the annex across the road, i requested an early breakfast which was able to be catered for, but did get a really good packed lunch instead.
Bed was really uncomfortable.

A quirky place, loads of character in quiet location slightly elevated above central shopping area . Large comfortable room. Breakfast delicious. Easy walk to central town via the Market Brae Steps.

Breakfast and staff
Location was difficult for us and steps down to basement room was hard for us with luggage. Shower was tiny.

Super staff throughout...particulr praise for Ana-Marie.
Restaurant served us well, with many gluten-free options available at both breakfast and dinner.
We would describe this property as "Relaxed yet efficient".
The hotel is close enough to the city centre for walking, but it is at the top of a hill overlooking the castle. The quickest way is up / down is 40+ steps ...
The patio area and bar was a bonus, as the weather was hot and dry when we visited.
We arrived into the city on the overnight Caledonian Sleeper train at 08:45 ... and we were able to drop-off our cases this early, giving us the extra time to explore.
Nothing.

Handy location not far from the centre of Inverness (5 mins walk, if you are ok with some flights of steps)
Parking.
Room was small room in a basement. Annoying lights outside at night (emergency exit?)
