Excellent location. A small hill up from central street but short and not slippery. Not tiny room. Warm and comfortable. Really hot water in the bathroom. Clean. New fresh bedding. Friendly staff. Local sharm. Beautiful building.
We stayed in November. Can be noisy because of the bar and outdoor tables in a high season. Narrow bed, just 130 cm. All of that were not pros for us but you need to take into account.

Staff, room, bed were great. Daily housekeeping was nice.
Bar and the restaurant downstairs were good with friendly staff. No noise from the pub was heard in our room which was good for light sleepers.
Short walk to bus and train stations.
There was a bit of noise from the street but we also chose to keep our windows open.

Here to support friends doing the Loch Ness Marathon and other races. Brilliant location , 5 mins walk into city centre. We were more central than our friends who had booked various Premier Inns for the same price. Had breakfast both days and a bar meal on one. Food was very good 😊
We enjoyed the hotel stay, and not a criticism of the hotel , but more a general observation that hotel rooms were at a premium on this event weekend (Sept weekend) and prices were raised throughout the city. Possibly would have been cheaper at a different time of the year ?

Really good location, 10 min walk to Inverness city centre.
Very expensive for a very small room. Would not stay again.

The room was really small but pricey (£340 for two nights) . It faces onto a busy road and does not have aircon so the choice was to swelter with the window closed or hear traffic and other noise with the window open. There were patches of mould around the window which affected my partner. We left after the first night and have been promised a refund (currently in complaint process)

Lovely building. Nice selection of whiskies. Great help to find a lost watch we left in our room…thank you!
Some old sherry and used glass left in room which was odd for our arrival. Quite high price for location and smallish room

Good location, parking fine. Very small room & double bed.
Told on check in breakfast would be available, went down next morning only to be told there wasn't enough guests to serve breakfast, rather frustrating.

The location was very good and free parking onsite was a bonus. The bed was very small, but the room was ok.
Nothing, it was a very nice hotel.

The hotel was quaint, and well located. The staff were helpful and polite.
While I knew we booked a standard small room, what I didn’t expect was the poor state of the room especially the bathroom, it didn’t even have a toilet roll holder, that worked, the toilet paper roll was placed on top of the toilet cistern! Seriously overpriced room!

Was a little wary after reading some negative reviews but really couldn’t fault anything about our stay. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent and good value for money. Room was clean and tidy with a comfy bed. We booked a small double room and yes it was small but totally adequate for our needs. Would definitely stay again.

Location near the centre of the city. The room was very clean and the staff really nice and helpful.
Our room was at the back and the smells from the kitchen extract got into the room when we opened the window. The breakfast was mediocre, particularly my avocado, bacon and poached egg.

The location only
It was a heat wave and there is no air con but its okay i wont expect one ... asked for a fan twice in 2 days and the declined to offer one
Also Sewage smell all over the room and the hall
Staff are not helpful expect for the young lady on the night shift
Very warm
Dirty under bed
Came to clean the room with no permission while we are away on 2nd day
The worst stay ever despite an amazing city and trip
But honestly could not sleep all night in this room which supposed to be upgraded 18m2 one for 200 pounds a day!

Bed was comfy. Good location to town centre. Nice touch to offer a small flash of sherry in room.
Lack of hospitality from staff. Doors could have done with a wipe. One bath towel had how's in it. One of two lights out in bathroom. Shower head sprayed water everywhere. TV was stuck on subtitles. No fridge in room. Wifi was rubbish. Curtain in room didn't reach the top so very light in room. Overpriced for what it offered.

Nice surroundings
So tiny bathroom one could almost not get in.
Shower bar so high I could barely grab it.
Impossible to fill the kettle from the basin faucet
Windows were locked , impossible to open them.
Based on leaflet, dinner served until 9:30 pm, we were told at 9:00 pm that the kitchen was closed.
We didn’t feel welcome upon arrival.

The location and the manager was friendly on our arrival and sorted and issue we had.
The size of the room. We booked a standard double, the room we had was NOT a standard double. It shouldn’t be booked as a double. All the paint work was marked from being knocked, probably with suitcases as there was no room. The bathroom door opened onto the door closure of the main door so it was all scuffed. The pillows were the thickness of an envelope, not comfortable and no support. There was only about a foot between the wall and the bed down one side and at the bottom.
