Valentine themed menu was both fun & delicious. GM & GM in waiting delivered appropriate level of attentiveness

Main hotel is a beautiful period property with lots of character & charm. Excellent staff who ensured our weekend stay was special. Booked a suite (housed within the annex) which was worth the extra. Perhaps a little dated however very clean and comfortable. Definitely would stay again.

Beautiful Location in Inverness.

Astounding Service. We were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary and a Birthday in the Hotel we got married in. The staff pulled out the stops and were very accommodating. The best rooms were closed for refurbishment and economy over the winter but they opened up the best suite for us specially. They delivered free desert to our drinks table in the evening and helped us celebrate by recreating our wedding photos on the stairs ! Our Dog was also very welcome and well looked after. Staff and Manager were extremely friendly and helpful. Great Rooms and location and lots of space and carparking. We walked into Inverness City Centre several times. Only 20-30 mins and 1.5miles approx. Evening restaurant was closed but the breakfast was excellent.

Very little to be concerned about. Minor issue were a tradesman walked into our Bedroom in the early morning to do some painting !! Lack of attention to detail at breakfast on the first morning with no toast, no butter, no milk. We were not on the booking list and were told we could not be in the room we said we were ! No sauces offered and no Beans with the Full Breakfast. However overall excellent. After first morning all was perfect.

Very Comfortable Stay. Super Friendly Staff

A very comfortable 3 night stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Super clean and nice facilities, the bed in particular was very comfy. We had two mornings where we were leaving early to explore the highlands so in lieu of breakfast the staff made us lunch packs to take with us.

Useful location. Lovely old building but needs care. Lights tripped - for hours - things were all a bit grubby (hairs in the bath and bedding) and generally felt very worm and also unkempt. Staff were charming though.

Comfortable, warm and welcoming in a great location.

Lochardl House is a lovely property. The reception, lounge and conservatory are beautiful rooms. The staff was extremely warm and welcoming in reception and in the restaurant. The receptionist kindly escorted us to our room. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious with a lovely large shower and gorgeous large fluffy towels.

The breakfast was underwhelming . I ordered scrambled eggs which came with a great deal of water on the plate as if they used an egg product instead of fresh whole eggs. Separate plates were not set out for the small selection of fruit, sliced meats and cheese except for the bread plate on the table and no bowls set out for cereal. I’m certain one only had to ask the server but as a suggestion it would have been better to have these things provided without having to ask. In all fairness it was a very quiet time of year so the quantity and quality may have been scaled back.

The room was fine - large and comfortable. The breakfast staff were really good and the breakfast is excellent.

It is expensive for the standard of the hotel, and the decor is a bit tired in places. The very good staff at breakfast show some of the others up a little.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody who values great hospitality and a friendly face.

Staff were friendly efficient and very helpful - they went out of their way to make guests feel special. This was the highlight of the trip.

It was a lovely stay with a lovely packed lunch for guests who had to leave before breakfast time. The only thing I could suggest is compostable wrapping on the packed lunch
