Lovely & helpful staff.
Great Location.
Warm & comfy room with hot showers.
Clean and tidy.
Great price.
Would feel safer if there was a manual door lock in the inside as well as just a key card lock... There was nobody about & very quiet and Inverness is safe enough, but it was still something that I'd prefer.
^ Very small concern though and the only thing I could find to comment on at all.

Central and cosy
It was great. Obviously a bit noisy as it’s a pub but didn’t take away from the experience

The location and the bar downstairs seemed to always have a good atmosphere.
The room wasn’t brilliant, but can’t complain really for what I paid for a room for myself last minute.

TV would be great

The restaurant was really good. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly
The coffee mugs hadn’t been washed. The bathroom could’ve been cleaner around the toilet

The location, the shower and coffee and tea
The noise… like you were in a plane. Fortunately, it stopped during night. the size of the room, no storage , no table. They should change the window so the noise is contained. Maybe add a foldable table

Having the bar and food downstairs was super handy and the upstairs outdoor deck was a great bonus!
It is a bit loud with all the people partying in that area, but we knew that before we went....earplugs!

Location, staff, room size, shower temp and pressure, room nice and warm even tho it was a v cold night, tea making facilities, hair dryer
Toilet roll was soooooo thin :( and bring your own body wash or shampoo, the stuff in the dispenser might have been anti bac? It didn’t lather and didn’t clean my hair, looked bad all day so had to shower again as soon as I could. A lamp would be nice to help with getting in and out of bed. Otherwise very good.

Good location and the main bar is brilliant, lovely staff, and good pizza. Basic rooms, ideal for a short stay for a few nights out in Inverness. Really good value for money.
Lots of small maintenance issues in the rooms. USB sockets not working, basin very slow to drain with no plug, extractor fan not working. The bed sheets and towels although clean, are very much past their best, one of the towels I used was threadbare.

If your going for a fun night then it's amazing, right in the heart of the nightlife
Unfortunately we went as we had to visit someone in hospital and after a long drive we needed a sleep and it was a Saturday night so very noisy

Great value for money. The place was very clean and comfy, paired with the fact that is right in the city center and it also hosts a bar with one of the best beers i ve ever had made the experience great. 10/10 would recommend

Very friendly staff, downstairs is a bar and the room is just on 1st floor. Recommended to try their pizza and beer. Delicious and the price seems ok. Location pretty centred and easy to get around with bus and walkable distance to River Ness, East Gate Mall and Mark & Spencer Food Hall. Around the hotel have some good restaurants and laundry service as well.
The room is a little bit warm stuffy even I turned the radiator off and open the window for natural cold air to flow in, the window can make it slightly bigger opening. I suspect the heat and stuffy came from the lighting.

Lovely staff and great location for a good price. The information given before our stay gave us an excellent idea of what to expect. The bar has delicious beer and pizza, too. We had a great night.
Would be improved by better accessibility (all rooms are up one or two flights of stairs) but the hotel was very upfront about this in communication before our stay and would be bound by what is possible in the building.

Small room that was clean and had its own ensuite WC and shower. Shower was powerful with lots of hot water. We had a kettle for teas and coffee . All in all excellent value for money. Also very close to station and restaurants. Staff were very pleasant and very relaxed, and left us to enjoy our stay.
Room faced on to a road that service vans used and got very noisy early in the morning. The noise of seagulls scavenging woke us up around 6am. Windows could benefit from being double glazed. As the room is so small it needed ventilation and we had to open the window, as there was no extract fan in the shower room..No room for wardrobe. Regardless of this we managed to have a nice stay.

Can’t complain

Ideal central location, staff very friendly and helpful.
Small issue with lamp in room - staff informed and dealt with it speedily.
Information about the room was accurate - advised there could be some potential noise from secret terrace - this was minimised by closing the windows.
Bathroom mirror light not working - not a major issue.

Location was very central
The room was not as what you expected to be clean and comfy. The tea cups were unwashed, the beds were very uncomfortable.
The loud noise from the street was disturbing.
Parking was additional charges
Overall, it was not worth the money.

Great location near all the sites and bars, good pizza and beer available. Room was clean and tidy with all that you need.
Was overpriced, may have been because I booked last minute but was very expensive for a bunk bed and bathroom that had slow draining/blocked sink and shower.

Good location and great venue. Room was great.
Bedroom was far too hot without a fan. Please provide fans or AC

The room was clean.
Room one was hot and couldn’t have window open because of noise. No breakfast included at that price . limited surface for items. Large Green night light immediately above the top bunk. Finally the shower was boiling with no cold water adjustment.

The lication
Rooms are really basic and there is no confort at all. Rooms are not cleaned, towels were not clean. There is not even a cupboard or a table and there are only bunk beds. And it was really expensive !

We liked location.
The room smelled strongly of smoke upon arrival. The bed linens had an unpleaseant odor, like sweat from a previous guest, and there was visible dust everywhere. At around 2a.m.the smoke alarm suddenly went off, causing a major disturbance. Two fire engines arrived to investigate the situation. It was an incredibly stressful and uncomfortable night- we felt unsafe and deeply unsettled by the whole experience.

Location,
There were beer cans from previous visitor in our room and they were still there when we left. A clear stain in the carpet in the room and the corridors also could have been cleaner.Quite noisy late in the evening

Central location, great staff, lots of hot water.
The bed wasn't the most comfortable and there was nowhere to sit in the room.
8.0 / 10.0
The location was perfect, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room, although very basic, was comfortable. The shower was powerful and hot water was plentiful. Regular replenishment of tea bags and milk, and the provision of a hairdryer, were much appreciated. The bar itself was lively and the pizzas and organic cider were excellent.
There was nothing I disliked. There was noise from the bar and the Secret Garden, but the venue warns that this may be the case, and it didn’t cause a problem. I’d have liked more than one hanger on the clothes rail!
9.0 / 10.0
Great location close to everything in town, the railway, the river, tours pickup sites and local shops. The staff was polite and helpfull. The bar downstairs is just great! Great shower and comfy bed.
The one down side was that our room was facing the street and on the weekend, it gets busy and a bit noisy.

Finally got "staying above a pub" ticked off from my bucket list.
Friendly staff
Central location
Pub sounds in the bathroom made us feel like part of the party. And all quiet by midnight.
World famous Leakey's Bookshop almost next door (another bucket list thing done)
I missed a reading lamp beside the bed.

Very clean room, with all the necessities provided.
The room was located at the back with the window to the pub terrace. So be mindfull of the noise if you are a light sleeper. The terrace closes at midnight tho, so personally I didn’t mind the noise too much.
The stairway hall had an unpleasant smell.

Location
Bunk beds not stated , simply said twin room. If I wanted bunk beds I would have stayed at a hostel for 1/4 of the price
5.0 / 10.0
Location was spot on. Room was small but clean and I only used it to sleep in. Spent more time outside so it was really used for storing my stuff and sleeping in. The shower was good but with the room being small the shower was small.
For the room I stayed in for £79 per night (Number 2) I would have only valued it at about £40 or £50 for the size and the fact that the window looked out on to a brick wall two foot away with no view. There was no TV either. It was a bedsit and a tiny one at that. However, it did the job of storing my stuff but the price, with no breakfast, was a bit disappointing. If I had come up the River Ness on a dingy and claimed asylum I would have got a better hotel room for free.
