Comfy and cosy but just wished the cups had been washed and half eaten biscuit packets replaced.

Easy self check-in, comfy beds, good amenities.

Coffee cups weren’t cleaned. Had half opened biscuits left from previous people.

Cute Hotel with B&B Vibes in Inverness

Our stay in Aye Stays was excellent. Our room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the area as it was easy to get to all our destinations in the Highlands and back to the hotel with our vehicle. It was also very nice to have a place to park our vehicle as well. The breakfast service was excellent and the staff were super attentive and nice. Rooms do not have A/C but there are small plug-in fans in the rooms and windows are easy to operate. The check-in and check-out process was super easy (self-service).

Amazing, we would definitely stay there again!

They Aye Stay was in a great location, the room was very clean and tidy with all necessary amenities, and the communication was outstanding. Check in and check outs were super easy and comfortable which is always nice! The walk from the station was also beautiful.

There wasn't really anything we didn't like. If I had to give critique I would say the room was a little smaller than expected but honestly we loved it regardless! We were also excited to eat at the restaurant but our tour ran late and it was a longer walk than expected so we were sad not to make our reservation.

Quiet neighborhood and chic decor - loved everything down to the scent of the soaps!

Walls can be thin, but nothing a knock and ask to quiet down to a neighboring room can’t fix.

Almost perfect place to stay

David and Roberta were excellent hosts. The room was nice and clean and very stylish with amazing breakfast. Location is really good a couple of minutes from the centre.

Family arrived after 10 PM next door, and did not calm down for a while. Also we could hear EVERY step from above. Not too much sleep unfortunately.

Ideal location & very clean, but the family room was a bit small.

A beautifully decorated and characterful B&B with a strong Scottish identity, thoughtfully updated with the latest technology. The bunk beds with privacy curtains are a great idea for family members sharing a small space. The breakfast was plentiful and satisfying.

Check-in at 4pm felt a bit late, and having breakfast served no later than 8:45am was a little early—especially when traveling with teenagers.

Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Room was comfy, though small.

You don't expect heatwaves in Inverness a lot, but the room was stuffy. A decent electric fan would have been great. Inverness has become really expensive in the last few years. The blurb says there is parking for eight cars, nine at a push. Not without some blocking others from leaving.

Comfy beds and clean room!

The room, bathroom and the decor gave amazing experience! Clean and cozy vibes. We didn’t have the breakfast but the restaurant looked amazing and we overheard that the breakfast was great!

The only thing I would comment on was that sleeping in the downstairs room you could hear the people walking upstairs at the very hours! Squeaky floorboards. Maybe a pair of earplugs beside the beds would help to mute the noise. We will defo stay next time but we will ask for upstairs rooms.

Convenient and very comfortable stay

Convenient location, beautifully decorated and very neat and clean

The breakfast has to be booked the night before which I missed in the last message on the day of arrival. However did receive the cereals and yogurt and we were not that hungry so didn’t bother much. May be an important notice for the guests to know in advance.

Great stay!

You can see how much thought and love went into the setup of Aye Stay. It was very clean with everything we needed. The location was great, in walking distance to the city center with parking right in front. The self check-in was easy and breakfast was great. We would definitely recommend and come back next time!

One of the best guest houses I’ve ever stayed at.

This Property is amazing from the second you arrive, beautiful well thought out decor with a lovely homely feeling. Easy self check-in The pre order process for breakfast was super easy and explained everything well ( even though I missed it as I was running late so apologies for that!) Very very clean and all the facilities you will need. Would highly recommend staying. Unbelievably comfortable beds. The staff are very accommodating and will go out their way to do as much for you as they can. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to my stay.

Comfortable, value for money, quiet but convenient location

Location was great for town and Inverness Squash Club. The room was very clean (I was sharing with my two sons), the beds were extremely comfortable, it was very quiet. The staff were super friendly and helpful. There was a good breakfast selection. Convenient location for getting to Loch Ness too. It was by far the most reasonably priced hotel we considered and we were so glad we opted for Aye Stay.

The decor is a bit outdated and tired, but I think this is counteracted by comfort and the helpful staff. We felt very at home, slept very well and it was a very convenient location.

Fantastic place to stay

Excellent stay with excellent hosts who were ever so helpful in giving us advice on what to do and where to go. Rooms were clean and lovely. Only things that could be improved were shower pressure was poor and breakfast was on the cold side.

A tad disappointing

No welcome greeting from the host. Self check in, which gave all the names of the guests and the amount of nights they were staying. No GDPR.. ! Bulb in the light above one bed (bedside light) wasn’t working. Smallest room of our entire NC500 trip. Bathroom was tiny, at 5”2 and petit I struggled. When I sat on the loo my arm was touching the hot radiator. No coat hangers to hang clothes. Breakfast was done by QR code from the room which didn’t make sense so had to go downstairs to fill in the manual one. Could hear the conversations of the room next door! One of the beds the springs were poking through, my 75 year old aunt was in agony the next morning. (She didn’t say anything until the morning otherwise I’d have swapped beds) No host on check out to ask how our stay had been. However, beautifully decorated and clean and the 2 young staff at breakfast were very polite and helpful.

very minor item - the central tap in the sink prevents you from getting your face anywhere near the sink - something to alter when they are due for replacement.
