Great location, just a bit tired

Was close to where we needed to be. Room was spacious if a little tired looking. Host was friendly enough. Breakfast was ok, although full English didn't come with sausages!

Bed was too soft. Slept only because we were exhausted. Cleanliness was ok, could do with a deep clean, looks like standards have slipped a bit, dust clumps on head board, wood work round window could do with a good wash, there was an apple under the sofa (and it wasn't ours). The place is up for sale so feel maybe current owners have lost enthusiasm, so attention to detail on cleaning has been lost.

Wonderful hosts, great breakfast

Both hosts were incredibly nice and accomodative. They prepared early warm breakfast plates when we had to leave hours before breakfast time. The room was very small but super cozy and cutely furnished and decorated. The mattress is on the soft side, also it’s 120x190cm. As a couple, it was hard to fit (we are used to 160cm wide). If you like to cuddle, it’s nice. :) It was clean, comfy and a good experience. There is an atm and shop right next door.

Only the matress, I think a less soft one would be comfier.

I would‘nt go there again

Location

Couldn’t lock the room doom. Old key and old lock. We were not strong enough to turn the key. (Room 3). Room was musty. Owner opened window for me but i couldn’t do it again in the morning. Decor old and faded

Okay place in Inverness

The Bosta house was in a good location for our overnight stay. Friendly welcome, with a lovely breakfast.

It's a bit on the older side with lots of needed updates. Our bathroom had the smell of cats.

A bit of a 'fawlty towers' feel to the place but ok to put our heads down for the night.

We weren't able to have breakfast as we were leaving before 7 and breakfast wasnt till 9. The host did leave out some cereal/milk for us though.

The property is charming, clean, and located a short walk away from town. Should I find myself in Inverness again, I'd certainly book again at this excellent B&B!

Good location, host was excellent and very friendly. Nice enough breakfast, but not super professional.

It was absolutely not clear from the booking.com page that the bathrooms were outside the room. This is not okay. The shower was broken and it took at least 10 minutes to get the water to stop going from ice cold to burning hot. There was mould on the windows and dust on the cabinet in the room, and hanging from the ceiling of the bathroom. The bed was extremely squeaky and very disruptive.

Location was within walking distance to town centre. Host was friendly and helpful, served a very good breakfast.

Room and ensuite were small. The window could not be opened, heater control hard to access, hence the room was a bit stuffy.

1/ Room and the whole house not very clean and tidy . You can tell Owner has tried but not a professional B&B management. 2/Room is very small not worth for the money 3/ Breakfast time is too late at 9am not flexible and consideration to travellers. 4/ untidy and lack some toiletries such as show gels.

Pink butterfly hell in the highlands.

A friendly if rather short welcome.

Absolutely not enough parking space. The room and toilet were tiny. Television was tiny and old with no bbc iplayer, Netflix etc. Furniture from the 1970s, no exaggeration, and the beauty of a scrap heap. Kitschy butterfly stickers and cloth butterflies stuck all over the walls as well as fake flowers everywhere in the property. Most of the room was pink with an old carpet and rug. Heating didn’t work either. We were miserable. We were so disappointed that we immediately left Inverness in the morning without seeing anything. Breakfast was very good but very very cramped, two tables squeezed into a hallway, again fake flowers there too. Host was friendly but had great difficulties navigating through the door with all the breakfast ingredients in her hands.

A very nice, comfortable and cosy B&B

Perfect location, on the main road and walking distance from the city. Very hospitable owner that’s available and always willing to help and give recommendations. Serving excellent breakfast. Rooms are very comfortable and well maintained.

Nice location and very nice that have a car parking in the front of the guesthouse. Quite near the city center of Inverness. The room and breakfest where okay but nothing special, the bed was a bit small for two people.

Fairly average needs improvements and updating

No choice on cooked breakfast of eggs mish mash dining room not separate it was in entrance hall good portions but would've liked more of a choice

En suite bathroom I wouldn't have booked if I had known the room had no bathroom . No change of dirty teacups on day 2 or replenishment of tea coffee etc

Perfect for a one night stay

Great location (we stayed here for the Etape Loch Ness and its very close to the start line) it's also got a handy co-op right next door and is only a short 10 minute stroll into town. The owner was very helpful and allowed us to keep our cars a bit longer so we could get them after the event which was great.
