The location was a literally out of town but if you have a car or don't mind a walk it was a nice walk to town.
The interior, bedding and deco felt a bit dated and dusty.

The staff were very friendly, showers very clean, safe location, quiet externally (anticipated noise within the hostel overnight)
Bedrooms very dated, covers broken off bedside lights (I was travelling with a child), mattresses extremely uncomfy (worst of any YH I have stayed in) and breakfast was very poor value for money. There was one bowl of bruised and shrivelled apples as the only fruit, a white/brown sliced loaf as only carbs, and about three cereal choices. It was an embarrassment to think that international travellers think this might be what we accept or choose to eat for breakfast. I have stayed in other youth hostels where there is a hot breakfast sandwich for the same price, or a choice of fresh fruits, quality yoghurts and croissants or crumpets. Mattresses urgently need replacing. Camping the week prior had been more comfortable. There was only one double socket in a four berth room, not all lights worked.
