We had been travelling in our caravan and hadn’t had access to a shower for a few days, so we booked this room specifically because it had an ensuite. We even mentioned at check-in that having a working shower was the whole purpose of our stay.
When we tried to shower, it did not work at all. There was no one at reception, so we messaged the property, but we didn’t receive a reply until the next morning. By then it was still not fixed, and we were told the power must have tripped. This should have been checked before guests arrived.
As we still hadn’t been able to shower, we requested a late check-out, but were only given an extra 30 minutes for two people, which was extremely unreasonable given the situation.
Both Booking.com and I have tried contacting the property since, and our messages have been ignored, which shows a very unprofessional approach to customer service.
When you haven’t been able to shower in days and book a room solely for that reason, it becomes a complete waste of money when the advertised facilities don’t work.
The property should ensure that all facilities are working and that what is advertised is actually provided before guests check in. It is not the guest’s job to test basic amenities.

Solidly built so no thin partition walls or slamming doors.!! I had 4 nights of undisturbed sleep...( Very unusual in Scottish hotels.!! ) And prices are a bargain for Inverness..!
All good.!

Easy access and parking off road.
Slightly busier area traffic wise

Breakfast you can buy was hearty and plenty. A great way to start the day. Great location to explore the area and walkable to downtown and restaurants, etc. Wifi was good enough to do a zoom lesson. Parking was very convenient, but limited spots so I got there early to make sure I got a spot.
The bed was a bit soft for me, but that is a personal preference. A hook for your towel would have been nice, I hung it up in the cupboard instead.

location was amazing, only a short walk from the centre. The room had everything I needed, including a small waldrobe, TV, kettle, Towels. They even left Tea and coffee along with Hot water bottles.
the decor was slightly outdated, but everything else was spot on.

Park Guest House was so cute/cozy! We liked having a sink/mirror in our room and didn't mind sharing a bathroom/toilet with the other guests in the house. Breakfast was yummy as well! We also loved how we could walk to downtown Inverness!

It was a nice stay within a walk (12 min) from the center and near the river Ness and Ness Islands. We were kindly welcomed. The room for three (with the third bed in it) did not have much more place but for an overnight stay it was very fine. You could choose what you would like for breakfast and the time in the evening.
We booked a boat tour at the Loch Ness and the meeting point was 15 minutes drive away.
Everything was fine.

Good location.
No hot water in the evening - was ok in the morning. Would have been better if breakfast was included within the price. Room could be more attractive and towels were flimsy. Lukewarm welcome.

The room was clean, comfortable and great value for money - very welcoming owner and really useful to have a pre-prepared supper bag after a long journey. I arrived late (train delays) and they were very nice and accommodating about this.

Sarah was very welcoming. The family room was spacious with a double bed and a single. Kettle,
Tea and coffee provided.
A little fridge for milk would be great

The room was very cold. The staff is a couple, they are very rude, when we said that it is cold, the man just said “you can go to somewhere else if you don’t like it” without offering any help. Lady helped a little but overall terrible experience.

The room was beautiful with the sitting room overlooking the lake - the bathroom was huge and the shower was great. WE did not get to use the amazing clawfoot tub but it would be wonderful to soak in it for sure!
The breakfast was very tasty and the managers are super friendly.

It was fine on the outside.
Dated, tired. Breakfast cost an extra 8 pounds and was skimpy. Add 10 pounds to the price and give a nicer breakfast. Include chopped fruit, berries, yogurt.

Cheap and cheerful. Everything acceptable. Shared bathroom may not be suitable for everyone, but you did have a sink in the room as well as good wifi tv, kettle, hair dryer, towels and even a hot water bottle. Had nice 1 night stop over short walk to town along the river.
All good for price.

The room was nice and very comfortable. The property itself was nice and quiet. The woman who checked me in, who I think was the owner, was very friendly and helpful.
The location was just a bit out of the way if walking to and from town but really not too far out of the way especially if you bring a car

Very kind host, excellent cooked breakfast, extremely comfortable beds, and super useful second sink in the room itself.
Not much! More soft lighting via lamps in rooms would be useful in the evenings.

Breakfast was good, room was adequate for my needs and location was good. Price for bed and breakfast was very good.

It was an inexpensive accommodation that worked well for a one night stay whilst on the go. The owner/operator was friendly and helpful. It was clean and felt safe.
It is certainly a bit outdated and shabby feeling. The worst part for me personally was the lighting with the only light being a bright central lightbulb. I went to a charity shop and bought a lamp to make it a bit more homey.
