Very comfortable and well equipped stay. Perfect for a relaxing weekend.

Great quality little apartment in a great location. Very comfortable, warm and lots of light. Well supplied with tools in the kitchen and various domestic appliances.

The ventilation became an issue at points, with showering causing stuffiness (bathroom window would not open) and cooking causing smoke alarms to go off and apartment again becoming stuffy. If all the windows could open a little (including a hook for the ceiling windows), we would feel a little more comfortable cooking properly and having hot showers. This was the only big issue we had, will emphasise that it was a wonderful apartment otherwise.

Excellent location close to the city and river. The owners were very caring, friendly and helpful, making our stay very easy and enjoyable. Home-cooked brekky with great choices - delicious and came with all the trimmings.

Great b&b in Inverness!

I had an exceptional stay with Jo & Kieron! Their B&B felt like home. They really go out of their way for you to have the best possible stay in Inverness. The room was clean and comfortable, the location is convenient (laundrette nearby, 10-minute walk to the cathedral & supermarkets, 10/15-minute walk to the bus or train station). Breakfast was great, with a lot of options to choose from. Highly recommended place in Inverness!

The mattress was slightly too soft for me -- not a complaint; but something to keep in mind for other guests.

Nice convenient place to stay. But better suited to people without mobility challenges

Very nice and interesting owners. And a wonderful dog as well! Location was perfect and breakfast was yummy. Bed was comfy and unit had a nice living room too.

Tough to navigate to apartment walkway of gravel and then through tall grass with doggie “landline”. And then the tricky stairs up into the apartment. This was not easy for my disabled husband.

Great stay with wonderful hosts!

We honestly couldn't have asked for more from our stay with Jo and Kieron at Strathallan B&B. They were both so very welcoming and engaging. The location was great - easy parking for those who drive, and within walking distance of the town center. Our room was perfect - very spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you'd need. Kieron's made-to-order breakfast was delicious (in fact, our son enjoyed his scrambled eggs so much, he left a note about them in the guest book!). While there we met another guest who's been staying with Jo and Kieron during his holidays for several years running - a testament to the quality and comfort of this B&B. And we agree - we wouldn't hesitate to stay again should we find ourselves in Inverness. Should you decide to stay at Strathallan, you won't be disappointed.

Great place to stay In Inverness

Very convenient to walk to main part of town. Very clean. Hosts Jo and Kieron were very hospitable and friendly. Breakfast was good and made to order. Quiet street with no nighttime noises like my friends reported at other B&B’s on the Main Street.

Hospitable hosts, convenient locale, but property less than expected.

Convenient and walkable to city

Accommodation did not match the descriptions on Booking.com. It is a 1-bedroom efficiency apartment, but the entrance (through a messy, unkempt walkway & neighbor’s backyard to a rickety gate for access the apartment’s backdoor entrance) makes the property rated less than the 9 it currently is awarded.

Kieran's breakfasts were outstanding. He and Jo were both very friendly and accomodating hosts, and we had no problems at all. Location was great, and it was easy to walk within the city. The provided parking worked out very well.

Great hosts, nice plae to stay in Inverness

The hosts were wonderful - Jo and Kieron made sure we had everything we needed. They serve breakfast until 9 am - we're late risers, so they kindly provided the supplies for us to cook our own breakfast on our own time. They were very responsive to any issues that arose. The kitchen was nicely stocked, had everything you'd need, and the sitting room was quite pleasant. Lovely backyard too. Good location in Inverness. As a bonus, we got to meet their puppy Esther who was absolutely adorable.

Had some issues with the heating and the unit getting quite cold, but again the hosts were quite responsive in turning the heat up when we needed. The only thing is I wish it'd been easier for us to manage the heat. The unit could use a deeper dusting too, as some areas had some cobwebs - just in the corners, as the main parts were clean.

The BnB experience I wanted

Come for the immaculate BnB, stay for the truly amazing hosts! The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were clean, the breakfast were amazing! But Jo and Kerian are the stars! Super friendly and super helpful and I enjoyed talking to them. And they woke up early to cook for us just so we could have an early start to the day. Thanks guys!

A Home Away From Home in Inverness

Strathallan B&B was possibly the best stay I had while in the UK. Located a short 10 minutes walk from the railway station / bus station, this property is managed by two wonderful people who are warm, welcoming & generous. Jo & Keiron are kind, helpful and accommodating to reasonable requests. They run the place extremely well and most importantly, make attempts to get to know their guests and make them comfortable. I had a single room, which was always warm- my tropical country self couldn't be more grateful. The bed was comfortable, the room always clean. Jo woke up early on most days to serve me delightful Scottish breakfasts and often times sat and chatted with me as I enjoyed the meal. I truly value her efforts and this act made me feel at home, more than anything else. She also helped me with my luggage, showed me the ways around the house and the town and was overall, a most delightful host. The B&B is also within walking distance from the supermarkets and the Inverness Cathedral as it is from the city centre. I highly recommend Strathallan B&B if you are in Inverness.

Lovely B&B in Inverness

I really enjoyed my say in this bed and breakfast. The location is perfect, close to the city center. My room was really cozy, clean and quiet. My bed was comfortable. There was a kettle, tea and biscuits available. The breakfast is really good (traditional english breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausages and one morning I had salmon and scrambled eggs). The hosts Kieron and Jo (and their dog Myrtle) were really kind and I enjoyed our chats in the morning. I highly recommend this B&B and I ever come back to Inverness I will definetely stay here again !
