A great place to stay for a visit to Inverness.

Well situated for an easy walk into the city centre. Off-street parking. The breakfast room was spacious and the selection was generous and delicious. I liked having an armchair in the room and getting fresh biscuits in the room every day. The hostess was very accommodating and communicated well.

We loved our stay at Fairwinds.Alma was great very welcoming and helpful. It felt like a home away from home. The breakfast was delicious and you had such a large choice of foods. The house itself was so close to the city walking distance which was helpful. So much to see in Inverness we loved our stay wish we could have stayed longer.I will return one day😊

Disappointing

Central position , clean enough, host friendly.

Very cramped room, and in need of attention: toilet seat and shower broken (although functioning), beds not particularly comfortable with old chipped frames and furnishings were cheap - certainly not good enough for the £105 paid for one night Very disappointed that no dairy free milk or spread was available for breakfast (admittedly I did not request in advance) and only sugary cereals were available. My husband's cooked breakfast was fine .

Cozy and comfortable room

Elma was really kind to offer breakfast a little bit earlier than usual since we had to go out of the room at 7:30 am to take a tour. The room and bathroom were really clean. The location was 15 minutes away from the city centre, so it was practical.

Good place to stay for what we paid central, safe and cosy.

Location was central about a 10 min walk into town or a 3 min drive. Many cars parked in the drive way hence parked in the opposite street. The host was friendly and a sharp Sense of humour. Comfortable room for hubby and I in 2 single beds with a private bathroom. Delicious cooked breakfast. It’s good for what we paid and were after a bed and bathroom as we had a an early departure.

Other than the parking which was not really an issue there was nothing.

A nice play to stay near the centre of Inverness

Fairwinds is well located with a 10 minute walk to the centre of inverness. The double room with ensuite was very welcoming and cosy and we slept very well. The host was very friendly and welcoming and keen to ensure that we lacked for nothing. The included breakfast was cooked for us at our requested time and was substantial, with a good selection of additional items to choose from.

Perfect location for a stay in Inverness

Location was perfect. We were able to walk to all the attractions of downtown Inverness within 10 minutes. The room was comfortable but a little short on outlets and lights. Breakfast was good.

I liked that the owner gave me a room with en suite bathroom when I thought I would have to share a bathroom. Room was a good size.

Lovely little B&B

The host Elma was lovely, very acomodating and helpful. The room was impeccable, new carpets, furniture and toilet. Location was great. Breakfast had a good variety. The room was a great size and had a kettle, cups and tea and milk. Also plenty of plugs.

Old school guesthouse modernised

Delicious hot chocolate and biscuits provided in the room was much appreciated after a day of missed connections. There was a large array of food available for breakfast. The cooked breakfast was excellent. Elma is a very kind and motherly person. Charming walk to town.

Vertical blinds didn't quite cover the window. Maybe a very slim curtain at each end would help?

Host was very friendly and breakfast was great. The room was really clean and the beds comfortable.

Would have liked a little hanging space for clothes, or hangers for the hooks on the door, and some room on the dressing table for toiletries etc. Larger bath towels would be nice too.

Very helpful staff. We were doing a cycling event and needed breakfast at 5:00 a.m. which was outside the terms of the stay, but the landlady kindly provided. Exceptionally clean.
