Janette is the perfect host. She made us feel like members of her family. Our luggage was delayed and she waited with us to insure that we wouldn't miss the truck that was bringing it from Edinburgh. Her breakfasts were better than we had at restaurants during the rest of our trip in Edinburgh and London. This is exactly where you want to stay in Inverness!

Breakfast. All rooms were clean and kept tidy. Room 5 was fine.

Room 4 was very small - too small for a cupboard, and no door into the shower room. There should be a reduced rate for this room.

Good value for the price.

Lovely host and great breakfast with fresh fruit. The River Ness and restaurants were nearby and we enjoyed walking to all. We barely heard the other guests, which was nice.

The room was very tiny, but we managed after moving some furniture around. Also, ventilation was poor as we were unable to fully open the window. And the toilet dripped continuously which was difficult for a light sleeper.

This accommodation fulfilled all our needs for our stay in Inverness, very cozy, great breakfast.

Location was excellent to access the town. Janette provided excellent breakfast service and conversation in the mornings.

I had a lovely, compact single room, which was very clean and well maintained. The location is excellent. Janette kindly made me an extremely generous packed lunch, as I had to leave very early in the morning. Highly recommended.

Decor in the room was lovely. The breakfast options were great.

The room I had was a very cozy single. Carry on only was a great choice as a larger bag would have blocked the exit.

A b&b home, quaint and a bit old, in good proximity to Inverness’ center, plenty of free parking space on the street, In the morning - great breakfast, made on the spot by the nice hostess.

Room was basic but ok - shower was not.. it was very small and not comfortable. It was only for one night so we managed.

A gem in Inverness

The b&b had little touches that went that bit extra to make a pleasant stay. For example, there were two chairs in our double room, so we could both sit to have our morning coffee. The tea and coffee tray offered a choice of nibbles with that first cuppa of the day. There was adequate storage space for our overnight baggage needs in the main room. The breakfast spread was excellent, with fruit, juice, yogurt, continental breakfast or a fully cooked. The cooked breakfasts were enjoyed by our party of 3 travellers.

Being a b&b, you’ve got to expect the ensuite to be small. The bathroom was functional, but by no means roomy. A shelf would be good to allow you to put down clothes and bathroom bag, without resorting to floor or toilet seat. There was nowhere to hang towels. The plumbing made curious, loud noises, so short showers were the order of the day. Not terribly convenient (walking) to anywhere to eat, other than the pub a few blocks away.

I booked a one night stay and was leaving too early for scheduled breakfast and requested a take away alternative. Janette provided a perfect selection of breakfast items for me and these were more than adequate. A very accommodating host. The accommodation was small (single room) and basic but the venue was clean, tidy and well equipped. Ideal for my very short stay,

A nice friendly guest house. Even got shown to my room by the land lady’s pet cat who followed me from my car to my room 🤣. Only a 15 minute walk to town centre and situated in a quiet and safe area.
