Das einzig gute war die Lage!!!

Eine Frechheit sowas zu zu vermieten!!!!! Alt und „grindig“ und das Appartment ist an einer anderen Adresse als man bucht! Eher eine Rumpelkammer mit winzig kleinem Bad und furchtbar Alter und grausiger Küche! Sollte man sich ersparen!

Fijne kamer met stille (in augustus onmisbare) airco in het centrum maar niet gehorig. De gedeelde keuken, de ligging boven de winkeltjes, het dakterras, paar trapjes af en steegjes door en je staat bij de zee.

Not a pleasant experience

Location

Beware before booking. The apartment we stayed in was not the one shown in the nicest photos. The Booking.com app gave us an address that was different from the one given by the host in a direct message afterwards... We were placed in an older unit. More worrying, there was a known water leak under the kitchen sink (hidden basin to collect water), and it was not communicated to us until we discovered the flooded floor. Plumber visited twice without success. The host sent him the second time without telling us. A major leak also appeared outside on the stairs. Wi-Fi was unreliable. We left a day early. Not suitable for stays longer than one night. Not a good experience.

The accommodation was very central and convenient.

There was no door to the second bedroom and it had no external window. It would not qualify as a two bedroom apartment in Australia. Had we known this, we would not have booked it. The furnishings were old and tired and not very inviting, and we did not feel comfortable storing our clothes in it. The kitchen was very old and faded but we ate out so we fortunately didn't need to use it. The bed was lumpy.

Better care is needed

The room was clean, but the shared kitchen and patio definitely was not. The bathroom sink was backing up. The air conditioning was so-so. We all had trouble sleeping as the room was not that cool, even when running the air conditioner. Soft/sagging bed; I am only 135 pounds and I had to sleep on the foot of the bed near the edge to have any support at all. When we got there, the key was not in the lockbox. Daniele did bring it to us after we called.

Not clean shared areas. Not effective air conditioning In general, a bit of maintenance is needed.

Keine Empfehlung

Die Lage ist zentral.

Das Appartment ist sehr laut. Selbst bei geschlossenen Fenstern hört man jede Stimme, jedes Geräusch aus der direkt unterbei verlaufenden Haupt"straße" bis spät in die Nacht. Gegenüber liegt eine Bar, die bis 23 Uhr im Freien laute Musik spielt und Trinkgelage veranstaltet. Die Ausstattung ist stark veraltet. Bei Möbeln ist dies vernachläßigbar, bei Betten aber nicht. Diese wackeln extrem, bestehen aus uralten einfachen Metall-Gestellen und die Matratzen haben schon zig-Tausende Gäste über Jahrzehnte hinweg gesehen... Das Appartment läßt sich nicht abschließen! Das Stiegenhaus davor wird vielfach genutzt, als Lager, als Postablagestelle, etc, und es gehen Leute ein und aus, obwohl einem bei Ankunft mitgeteilt wird, keine anderen Gäste würden Zugang durch die Haustüre haben. Da stimmt schon - aber nur für GÄSTE. Des Nachts ist dies, speziell mit Familie, keine angenehme Situation, zu wissen, daß das Appartment einfach und offen zugänglich ist... Personal? Empfang? Kontakt?? Fehlanzeige. Weder bei Ankunft noch Abreise war jemand anwesend, wir wurden schriftlich instruiert. Die City-Tax sollten wir am Tisch liegen lassen. "3€ pro Person und Nacht" Als Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern? Es wurde bestimmt unabsichtlich vergessen zu erwähnen, daß Kinder im Alter von 1 und 6 KEINE TAXE zahlen müssen... Auch gab es über drei Nächte hinweg keine Entleerung der Mistkübel. Man bezahlt einzig für "Cinqueterre". Das ist nicht gerechtfertigt.

Location is excellent

Location is excellent, the room was clean and spacious. The terrace was great to sit out in the evening with a bottle of wine. Shared kitchen had everything you needed. Both the Air con and WiFi were good. Host was also very attentive, checking in if we needed any extra towels etc.

Very noisy most mornings, neighbour or rubbish truck woke us up before 8am. Take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Terrace could be cleaner - bird poo, in particular the chairs on the top terrace.

Apprezzato moltissimo la pulizia della camera ed il fatto che ci fosse tutto l'occorrente per stare bene! Letto comodo, ottima doccia, che alla fine è la cosa più importante. Presente anche un cucinino condiviso ed un frigo, possono fare comodo. Bella location e terrazza condivisa!

Camera buia, l'unica finestra della camera si affacciava sulla terrazza condivisa, quindi persiana tenuta solitamente chiusa. Isolamento acustico scarso, ma siamo stati fortunati a trovare dei vicini silenziosi. Decisamente sovrapprezzato per quel che offre, ma è un problema diffuso in tutte le Cinque Terre, e abbiamo trovato di peggio.

Basic facilities

Clean and tidy. Excellent location if you like to be where all the action is. You’re basically in the heart of Vernazza and can walk a couple of minutes to everything. The bathroom is spacious and the shower very good. It felt very safe there too and a great view of the hustle and bustle of Vernazza from the window.

Double bed was very uncomfortable, you could feel the springs in the mattress poking into your back. It’s very noisy at night until at least midnight. There was no toaster in the kitchen or kettle that worked. The nude artwork in the room is tacky and gives a weird impression. The room is very small and difficult to place and use suitcases and still walk around. I don’t think this place is good value for the price, it was the most expensive per night for our whole trip and the poorest quality. You are really just paying for the location and little else. It would be good if you want to stay out all day and into the night and are able to sleep on a very uncomfortable bed and with noise.

Location! Just steps from the beach. Andrea met us and responded quickly to our inquiries.

We booked two places together. One is called a two-bedroom apartment. This is not accurate. It is a great room with a side room, no door separating the two. Also although they are in the same building technically, it is two different entrances so a little inconvenient to share spaces. Finally, you don’t want to open the windows at certain hours because of the fried fish shop just below the window. Air Conditioner stopped working during our last night.

Amazing stay in Vernazza.

The place is a little tricky to find but the owner came out and met us which was very kind as we arrived late. The restaurants close earlier here and he even gave us some pasta for our supper. The location is great. The town is very small so everything is walkable, beach, stores, cafes. There is a small kitchen just outside the bedroom which is shared with one other room. We used it to store snacks but chose to eat in the restaurant. . Very quiet at night and nice comfortable beds. There is a shared balcony which we enjoyed. The owner set us up with a guide for an amazing boat tour with snorkelling and cave swimming.. We loved our stay here.

Shared house arrangements which provided no privacy and noise levels depending on other quests. No washing machines available in spite one being listed. Room had a very damp smell which become worse as time went on. Sharing terrace with smokers.
