Well appointed accomodation but look out for the stairs!

It is in a great location with a lovely rooftop terrace.

Communication about room servicing was tricky. Our cleaner spoke no English and we needed to follow up on a few things. It also needs to be made clearer about the number of steep staircases you need to manage for the room we had. There is a mention of stairs but, despite being nimble veteran travellers we found the almost ladder like flights hard to manage with standard luggage.

Highly recommend this town if you want to hike and divide up your hike into two separate days.

Perfect location. Close to train station so good with luggage. Clean and easy to find. Great directions and support.

The shower was a little inconsistant when other guests were using theirs at the same time. Otherwise fine.

Boendet låg väldigt centralt, lätt att gå från tåget. Gemmi mötte oss och förklarade på mixad italienska och engelska hur allt fungerade och tipsade om restauranger osv. Perfekt för att utforska Vernazza och närliggande byar. Supergod gelato med underbar ägare just före piren.

En del skulle nog tycka att det var lite för lyhört mellan rummen och även en del ljud från gränderna, inget vi stördes av.

A room of character perfect for enjoying Vernazza

A lovely room, with character and a roof terrace giving us views of the sunset and well above and away from the crowds down below. Pat, the host was exceptionally helpful and informative.

Not a dislike, more an observation, as nights get colder a spare blanket would be helpful. A word of advice - I saw people struggling with multiple huge suitcases - everywhere in Vernazza is steep and narrow, pack accordingly.

La ubicación fue muy cómoda y el anfitrión fue muy amable durante toda nuestra estancia.

La habitación estaba limpia, pero la experiencia no fue cómoda. La cama era demasiado dura, las almohadas también resultaron incómodas y el aire acondicionado no enfriaba bien. Pasamos calor durante la noche y fue difícil descansar porque terminamos sudando. Creo que deberían mejorar estos aspectos para que los huéspedes puedan dormir mejor.

Fun time in Vernazza. Everything is close to the beautiful harbor.

Easy meet up with the staff at the train station and they walked us directly to the room <5 min. Good suggestions for dinner. Vernazza was charming and the room met our expectations.

No issue for us but there were some steep stairs to get to the room. Could be difficult for someone with mobility issues. I expect there are steep stairs in the majority of locations in Vernazza. Thought we had booked their room with the terrace, but I was made aware of my room choice well before we arrived.

Pas de petit déjeuner. Juste une bouilloire et thé et café. Jolie chambre bien propre et bien décorée. Marches nombreuses et très haute pour atteindre la chambre. Très dur pour les personnes âgées. Mais un porteur nous a été trouvé.

Une seule chaise pour deux. Un bruit discret mais persistant tout la nuit, par interminance...Dur pour les dormeurs fragiles. Douche: il faut la faire couler 10 mns pour avoir de l'eau chaude...Pas très ecolo...

The apartment was in a great location close to everything but quiet. We loved our stay!! Our host was very helpful and made us feel welcome. Very close to the station 2min walk and to the start of the walk to Montorossa.

The stairs were a challenge but we didn't mind. It should be mentioned in the description.

Quaint accommodation in the heart of town.

Located in the heart of Vernazza this 3 story terraced home was quintessentially authentic. Gemmy the host was lovely and met us at the property shortly after arrival. The property is a few minutes walk from the train station. The property is over three levels with lockable bedrooms on each level. Only the top bedroom has access to the rooftop terrace. Just a one minute walk and you have access to the cafes and restaurants.

Very steep and narrow steps so thank goodness I had my husband to take up the luggage. Aircon was very weak and we struggled with the heat. Wi-Fi was also weak so ended up using our data.

We couldn’t recommend this accomodation enough. Great location, Gemmy is amazing host and when she saw we are coming with a lot of luggage and my husband had a broken ankle she tried to tried to get help so I didn’t have to carry the suits cases by myself. Beautiful location and even most of the locals were very helpful too.

Pleasant

The location is great, the place is clean and very cute. The host was lovely and very flexible and welcoming. Only basic items provided, but it was ok for our 3-day stay, and whatever we needed, it was easy to get as lots of little shops and small supermarkets near by for the everyday needs. Train station is super close, but location was quiet and felt safe. A must for everyone is to experience a meal at the restaurant called Bar Le Torre, the best food around, great service, the view is amazing and it’s only few minutes walk (up hill). The restaurant was the highlight of our stay.

Not enough heating, luckily we had few warm winter days. But at night, we had to sleep with lots of jumpers etc to stay warm. The other reason I would go back was the cigarette smell from the rooms below us. We are a non-smoking family, and we couldn’t walk through the corridor fast enough, trying to open and closing our door quickly so the smell would go in with us too much. The smell was so strong, we had all our clothes and hair smelling. That was really off for us.

The view and the terrace were spectacular. The room had all we needed. 33rd anniversary was quite romantic.

my wife and I humped our large suitcases up the three flights of nearly vertical staircases. My wife had a sore shoulder for a day from the effort. I said I would make two trips but she is a trooper.

The location is great, looking onto a quiet tiny courtyard steps from the main part of town. The property was very clean. Once inside, Gemmy has a well organized list of recommendations and information about the property ready! We appreciated having a little fridge and a clothes rack. There were two fans - a ceiling fan that was rather loud, and a stand fan that was quieter - so helpful! This property is definitely better for people in good physical shape, which worked fine for us.

Check in was very stressful as no instructions were sent until 4 hours before we arrived, despite asking several times. By that time, we were already en route and could not receive emails/texts, so we had to call Gemmy when we arrived to let us in, and she had to run down, which she immediately did and was only 5 minutes away. The room was a bit narrow so it was difficult to get around the bed, which is in between double and queen sized.

Very helpful host! Gemmy was very nice & accommodating unfortunately the room that we booked had a problem with the bathroom so we were relocated to Gemmy’s friends house and stayed with Barbara who was lovely! it was clean and the location was great!
