Superb apartment, central location
A lot of steps ( 122 ) which is ok but with luggage is quite difficult but if you prepare accordingly 😉

We really enjoyed our stay in this second‑floor room with its private bathroom and balcony — simple, clean, comfortable, and with a beautiful view. The 140 steps up were easy to manage, especially considering how hilly Cinque Terre is. Vernazza’s vibe was wonderful, with great places to eat by the sea, and we loved exploring the other villages by train and ferry. Our highlight was the Vernazza–Monterosso hike, and starting early from Vernazza was definitely the right choice. Communication with Luca was excellent, and we would gladly stay at his place again on our next visit to Cinque Terre.
It wasn’t hot during our stay in Vernazza, and we only needed the fan once. On very warm days, having air conditioning would likely be a better option for comfort.
