Solo female traveler

Location was good, very close to the Main Street. Luca (host) provided good instructions before arrival to locate the room. Check in was easy (PIN code at door). Room was larger than average and bed was comfortable. There was a fridge and tea and coffee available.

The first night the shower was not hot. I was in the ‘ground floor’ room and it was noisy when people arrived and left (noisy stairs and doors), but I think this is normal in an older apartment (I live in the suburbs so not used to too much noise!).

Great base for Cinque Terre.

Expansive rooms with nice bathrooms. Conveniently located close to the train station and restaurants. Owner was very friendly and helpful. He came and fixed our ceiling fan. Great communication. Clean and quiet. Book it if it’s available.

Stairs are typical Italian: steep.

We had a wonderful stay and would return.

The location of this place in Vernazza is perfect, so close to the train station, but without the train noise. Luca met us on the street and took us up to his place, carrying 2 large suitcases! He was responsive and accommodating.

Good if you like roughing it.

I liked that the location was close to the train station as well as to the centre square.

I felt there were too many stairs. Perhaps for young persons this is fine but for 50+ people this was a real challenge especially when carrying luggage down. Luca was nice to have carried them upwards when we arrived. The apartment was more rugged than expected and no A/C which in mid-August is necessary. A ceiling fan and standing fan were available however it wasn’t the same as having A/C. Our refrigerator wasn’t working either but Luca was nice to give us a reimbursement for the trouble and promised to have it fixed in the coming days.

De locatie en de ontmoeting met de host waren geweldig. De host is enorm gastvrij en zeer verwelkomend. Het appartement ligt vlakbij het strandje en de drukke straat. 1 minuut lopen en je bent bij het strand en de drukkere straat. Bed lag goed en wat erg fijn was, was dat er een klein koelkastje op de kamer aanwezig is.

In de kamer was het erg warm. De ventilator aan het plafond is naar onze mening niet voldoende om de kamer te koelen. Nadat wij dit aangaven bij de host kregen wij direct een extra ventilator. Dit was erg fijn. De kamer was daarentegen prima te verkoelen als je het raam opendeed, de temperatuur neemt best af in de avond. Maar als je het raam opendoet komen er onwijs veel muggen in de kamer. Wellicht een idee om er een muggen hor voor te spannen. Daarnaast was het straaltje wat uit de douche kwam erg minimaal. Het duurt ook vrij lang voordat het water een aangename temperatuur heeft en niet onwijs koud is. Maar over het algemeen onwijs genoten en zeker aan te raden!!

Very central! Literally just above the main street, yet very quiet and hidden away. Amazing view from the windows on the bay and castle.

The bed is made of two single beds, so a bit uncomfortable there. The bathroom is a bit small but clean.

The owner’s name is Luca. We stayed on his second floor…. Luca was super nice and the room is off the main road in a quieter location away from the crowds.

Adding a coffee maker to the room would be a good thing.

Love the location. The village was beautiful and the people were wonderful. Housing was very nice. The stairs around town were a great workout as well.

Perfect location to explore Cinque Terre

Vernazza is the perfect location to explore Cinque Terre and the nearby towns. The host is very friendly and provides clear instruction via message box and WhatsApp on how to collect the keys. The location is easy to find and has a lovely view. The rooms are as described on the website, which have enough space to open our suitcases. Heating and Wi-fi in the rooms are good. The bathrooms are clean with adequate hot water and water pressure. The rooms don’t have television but who needs one while staying in such a charming place? One of our room has a balcony where we can hang the clothes after washing. There’re grocery stores nearby but since this is a tourist area, things are a bit more expensive than other places. Also, since we’re visiting in February, not a peak season, not many shops and restaurants opened, but it’s a good time to enjoy the town quietly as there’re not many tourists. We still found some good places to eat or to have coffee during our stay. Maybe next time we will stay during summer time so we can enjoy the sea.

The narrow staircase is a bit hard for travellers carrying suitcases. But we already knew it before coming. Also the double bed mattress are actually two single mattresses, they may move a bit if you move around while sleeping.

This property is nice, simple, clean & perfect for a stay in Vernazza. Its got some stairs though to reach it so just be prepared for that but I enjoyed it for my 3 night stay.

The fridge. Really was ineffective and if anything poor thing was pumping more heat in to the room without really being able to cool a can of drink! No air con which I was aware of but fan over bed could do with another power up! Wouldn’t let it out you off though! Charm personified!

Vernazza A Friendly Beautiful Place to Stay

The location was cute and tucked up steps on a picturesque street. Vernazza is a Great place to stay with its people, shops, food stores, restaurants, church, and more. It wakes up just like the town in Beauty and the Beast. If you get up early you can see the innerworkings of Vernazza as you walk the streets. Vernazza connects you to two hiking paths - to Corniglia and to Monterosso al Mare. Be sure to prepurchase online a Cinque Terre Pass. It is Good for any hike, free train rides, restrooms at train stations (2-5 minutes to get to each town), and WiFi at the train station.

We were met by the host, who accompanied us to the place and gave us some directions and suggestions about facilities, restaurants and beaches. Great location in the historic centre of Vernazza. Room and bathroom were clean and with all you need, including wifi, mini fridge and a ceiling ventilator.

All was great, if I have to find something as an improvement I would suggest to put a tv in the room, but I don't really see the need of it in such a place.
