Elena was a fantastic host and went out of her way for us . We arrived late and she met us at the train even though it was after hours. The rooms are away from all the hub of the tour groups so it is quiet.
It would have been nice to have an nespresso or other coffee machine in the common area.

Loved everything about this property from the moment we arrived (we were greeted at the train station) to the time we departed. The room was large and had a beautiful view. Location was great.

Elena was just wonderful. It was a bit cold to begin with since the main heat wasn’t turned on in the area yet, but the accommodations also have heaters for each room that we were able to use. Beautiful, quaint and a great starting point for hiking! If you are new to Cinque Terre, come with the expectation of lifting your luggage up many steps. 😊 So lovely!

Take a quick hike up the hill and you’ll find a delightful room here in Vernazzo. The WiFi is good, AC works well, and the bed comfortable.
Steps: don’t bring your rolling suitcase - there are plenty of steep steps. But it is doable. But you’ll have to carry your belongings. The host who met us at the train station did offer to help us carry !
The interior walls are rock - after all it’s build upon these rocks. There are windows that overlook the town and another set that overlooks a lemon tree. You just feel nestled in. The mirrors in the room make it feel spacious. It has character and charm.
The bathroom has good water pressure and instant hot water that did not vary in temperature! There were towels and toiletries.
We enjoyed the patio on the roof where we could see the Mediterranean.
There is shared space with fridge, water, coffee and tea within steps of our cottage.
Some of the reviews mentioned train noise. Yes, it’s above the train station but while we were inside we never heard the noise. Once you’re outside your room you can hear the train pull in.
