Absolutely Exceptional Stay!

Paolo was an incredible host! He reached out before our arrival and even arranged someone to meet us near the train station to help direct us to the room. Though there were quite a few stairs, the room and the amazing view made it totally worth it! The location was perfect, surrounded by great restaurants, bars, and friendly locals. Paolo went above and beyond for us (and even helped our friends too!) We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lots of steps! Air conditioner wasn’t as cold as we would like. Had some trouble with communication with the host for check-in (he used What App to contact us, I didn’t have it).

THE BEST VIEW!!! This place was perfect. The space was super clean, the bathroom was big, comfortable and clean. The shower was great, water pressure and temperature was perfect. Paolo was so welcoming, helpful, professional and attentive. Like anywhere in Cinque Terre if you want this view you will need to walk up some stairs. Overall 10/10!

Great view in Vernazza

Beautiful view. Very clean. Big bathroom. Nice balcony. Area beautiful. AC works well. Description very clear about the steps up. Do not under appreciate that fact. We are both able and not unfit. Much more fun at first than by the end. Vernazza is small. Even though the place is by the water, the furthest point from the train station, it’s about 5 minute walk. Bottom of the steps empties onto the main piazza-Beautiful! This particular unit being so high up is not without benefit. Before we went, I read about Gianni Franzi and the deck being a must for a pre-dinner drink. Walked out to leave first night and 20’ from the unit is the Gianni Franzi deck. What a stunning intro to Vernazza! If you stay at this unit, you can’t miss out on that!! Only thing is the balcony is narrow and the AC unit on the balcony, when on, blows warm air onto the chair by the table. Overall 9/10 because I’m tough to give a 10. Paolo very nice and welcoming. Place very nice. Vernazza a sweet spot in Cinque Terre. Big recommend!

Location is perfect for exploring the beautiful Cinque Terre. Paolo was a fantastic host, everything worked so well and the room was nice, modern and clean.

Vernazza is the best place to stay and explore from there we enjoyed the town and the room so much

It’s small but perfect for sleeping / bathroom. We didn’t spend too much time in the room but it was clean and the AC works great. They were so nice and even helped us with our bags! We counted the steps it’s 110 steps to get to the room which was a cool unique experience

Location and the view couldn’t be any better really nice staff and host. Very accommodating with all the stairs by helping bring up my luggage since I had twisted my ankle in Florance.

I wish there had been more extra blankets just to accommodate those who needed them.

A view to die for

Wow!!! While the walk up the narrow, winding passageways and steep steps to the apartment is not suitable for those with mobility issues or giant suitcases, the view from the terrace is well worth your efforts. It is simply spectacular (better than the photos). One of the best views of the town in Vernazza. Communication with the owner was excellent (WhatsApp) making for a quick and smooth check-in/out. The apartment is modern, clean and comfortable with a coffee machine and mini fridge. Very nice bathroom. You're also in the heart of Vernazza - just a short walk down to the heart of the town and to all the restaurants.

Not a complaint, just a suggestion: some wine glasses would be nice while we sit on the terrace, drink local Cinque Terre and Tuscan wine and take in the spectacular view.

We had such an amazing stay in Vernazza. Our room was beautiful, spacious, clean and with a fantastic view. Bed was very comfortable and slept very well. Paolo was very friendly and helpful when checking in. We highly recommend staying here and would love to again. Thanks very much. Also the gelato was the best we tried!

The room was clean and comfortable with a nice sea view. The host met us at his gelato shop and carried our suitcases up all the stairs. Yes, there are quite a few steps up to the accommodation, but after hiking over the hills around the Cinque Terre villages, the stairs to the room didn't seem so tough.

A lot of stairs to a serviceable room (without proper curtains)

I stayed for two nights in room Isabelle. There are lots of plus points. The room was clean, there was a nespresso machine with pods, the shower was excellent and the bed comfortable enough. The owner was clearly keen to try and be helpful.

My room didn’t have curtains that covered the windows so it was impossible to come out of the bathroom or lie in bed without being observed (and obviously I woke up early each day due to the light). The wifi was a bit spasmodic and so I ended up having to hotspot from my phone and used up all my data! As I should have realised from the pictures, you have to climb up quite a lot of stairs to get there (which was not exactly what I wanted after a long day of hiking and made me not want to go out in the evening). And since the accommodation is in fact just a few rooms in an apartment block, the claim of left luggage is a bit optimistic - I was told to go to a gelateria to leave my bag but both times I did so it was closed even though I told the the owner exactly the time I would be there. This was fixed following WhatsApp liaison with the owner but didn’t feel especially relaxing. Finally watch out for being charged the incorrect city tax - I was told by the owner that I owed €8 euros for my two nights, but then checked and found it was only €4. A small thing and I am sure a genuine mistake but worth others knowing.

Would stay here everytime!!

Stairs upon stairs! Pack light! But so worth it! the view was gorgeous, the room is clean and attention to detail is everywhere, from the thoughtful decoration, clean white aesthetic, stylish ambient lighting everywhere, sound proof doors/windows that were also security windows (could opened at a vertical slant while locked or opened up completely. huge bathroom with hot water and great water pressure. Espresso machine with little espresso cups. balcony is narrow but has a built collapsible table and the views are outstanding. Marco was kind enough to help us with our bags, would highly suggest communicating in advance to get a porter for your bags (only 5 euro a bag). The pillow and the bed were the most comfortable we have experienced in Italy so far. If you want the room with the balcony, be sure to request the “Benedetta” room. This stay was a 10/10! Grazie!!

Exceptional

We would 100% recommend this place. The check in was made very easy and we were helped to our room with our bags. We were given recommendations on where to eat and drink. The room itself was very spacious and had everything we needed from a fridge to good air-con!. The bed was also really comfortable and the shower room had everything we needed. Sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine was just lush with amazing views over vernazza. The loaction itself is very central, be warned it is up some steps however that is the case with almost all of cinque terre. All in all we loved our stay and will absoloutely be coming back to stay again!

Be aware you have to climb quite a few stairs to get to the hotel. This is probably true for many of the places in Vernazza. Luckily we took a small box and left the rest in the car. Good to ask the questions ahead of time

Fantastic room with an amazing view of Vernazza. The host responded quickly to my questions and organized some help to get our luggage from the train station up to the appartment. The room and the bathroom are spacious and newly renovated. The balcony is rather small, but provides a great view of the village.

I will definitely come back. I really enjoyed the modern big, clean room and bathroom and seeing everything going on at the harbor and the street from the balcony. The owner was kind and prompt to respond about an expensive professional hair dryer I left behind. He had his mom meet me quickly before I left the city. I can't wait to come back again. PS I'm from USA not sure why it says Israel and all pics are from the balcony except the beach scene at ground level. Owner was also quick to respond to my questions with great details prior to our arrival.
