The CONTEL Hotel is located right next to the MOSELBAD with its large sauna area and swimming pool. We are a 15-minute walk along the Moselle from the old town and city center. It offers a restaurant with an outdoor terrace & bar.

Breath of fresh air
Facilities are a bit dated but the rooms are wonderfully large, with kettle and mini fridge. Lovely walk along the river.
Long ways from train station, probably better suited as a motel for people driving through.

A good choice for my last minute weekend visit.
The beer garden was lovely. It was right on the Mosel. I found the bed comfortable. It was a 20 minute walk to the old town and about 7 minutes further to the promenade on the Rhein.
G was closed but food could be ordered and eaten in the beer garden. The ordering and pick up process was confusing.
