Adequate, would stay again.

Location is great, near but away from the Highway, little village very cute.

Good stopover place to rest when driving back from the Alps.

It is a good place to stay overnight to take some rest after a long drive before continuing your journey. Fairly priced for the comfort and service that you get. We probably would use this hotel again for this purpose.

After 4PM the reception is closed and you will need to call to receive a room key. We arrived later in the evening and our room did have windows but no curtains or roller shutter. After a few calls we finally got another room which was okay. Although the issue was solved correctly it should not have happened in the first place as we have a hard time to believe that anyone would accept the room in this condition.

Nice hotel as a stop off.

Breakfast was very good, lots of fresh fruit. The usual eggs, bacon etc. Everything was well laid out and clean. Bedrooms are clean, shower hot, beds comfortable. I loved the wine vending machine in the lobby!!

Ok for a one or two night stay.

The breakfast offering was good. Our room was small, but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Hotel location was walkable to the centre of the very picturesque town of Winningen. The Railway station was also walkable to access Koblenz. Some offroad parking was available in front of the hotel.

The breakfast room was not big enough to accommodate all the guests. The hotel had a breakfast timed booking system in place but it appears that this was not fully implemented due to lack of staff in attendance on the previous days.. The outcome being that the guests all seemed to turn up around 08:00 each morning. Our room was quite noisy as the hotel is close to a main road and as there was no AC in the room we chose to keep the window open at night.

Pleasant stay

Nice modern and clean hotel. The breakfast was lovely, different items as well as the usual ones. We had 2 fans in the room which was much appreciated as it was very hot outside.

great location, new amenities and furniture and friendly staff

we really enjoyed our stay at the Emmerich and we’re pleasantly surprised but the quality of the rooms. the towels were fresh and fluffy and the bedding and furniture all looked new. staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast also was well catered. a great stay for exploring the vineyards and restaurants in the town.

Do not book the place! Ever!

We did not stay at the hotel because of my severe asthma. They did not agree on deleting the booking,though. They took paid anyway, shame on them! Bad business! The same goes to Booking.com. Not they either could help us out- both claiming each others! Do not book here! We do not rely on this booking site anymore!

Old carpets on the floors everywhere! They did not meet us with respect due the obvious health reasons. They took paid even though we never used the room.

Nice place for an overnight stay with motorcycles

Modern comfortable rooms. A parking garage for our three motorcycles. Very good breakfast.

The bar was not selling alcoholic beverages due to some problems with guests in the recent past.

Genuine charm at the top of the hill

Real charm and attention to detail. Fine views of vineyards with stunning local walks. Good security for my bicycle. Very helpful staff.

It's quite far from the centre of town up a steep hill, so won't suit everyone
