Great rural stay close to Koblenz
The view from the hotel as well as the location are really nice. The main road is close by, yet you get the feeling of staying in a rural, nature rich area. The deer close by are a very nice side attraction. Connection to Koblenz is only a 10 minute drive away, so very close by as well. This hotel provides the perfect stay to get away from the bustle of the city during the mornings and evenings.
The cushions in the beds were as flat as they come, not great for the neck..the rest of the room has everything you could ask for and was very neat. The cook is a very friendly guy who helped us out after a misunderstanding about us not wanting to get breakfast.

Delighted to wake up to views of meadows with many deer, green forests, and beautiful countryside! Good breakfast too! Host took the trouble late on a wet Sunday night to make sure we got safely to our room...!!

It was a beautiful house in the middle of the forest! Also the breakfast was lovely.
There was a horrible smell coming from the bathroom. It smelled like sewage. And the shower barely worked. The water was extremely low pressure and barely got warm. I think because it’s in a tucked away location they must have some issues with their plumbing and sewage. I was planning to stay there a few nights, but I cut the trip short and just went to a Mercure in town because of the smell and the water problem.

The hotel is highly recommended for those, who want to enjoy the nature for affordable price.
The location is fantastic, there is a nice mini-zoo with birds, peacocks, and deer. The hotel is in the forest, where you can walk and breathe fresh air. Also, the staff is super friendly.
Lack of a mini-refrigerator and the bathroom door was broken. Also, there was no one at the reception and the reception itself was not obvious, as it was in the bar. We spent 20 minutes trying to find the reception.

In the woods at Remstecken
Superb location in the woods next to a deer park. Plenty of popular forest walks. Lovely buffet breakfast - very continental. Staff were very obliging.
Only tiny little things which will probably be picked up in the next maintenance checks. Really just minor dilapidations. Nothing to stop us having a very nice stay.

We were upgraded to the family suite, which was really nice for the kids, they were super happy. It's our 3rd times staying in this hotel, my husband and the kids like the fact that they can feed the reindeers there :)

Highly recommended for nature lovers
we visited family in Koblenz and stayed here with our kids for 2 nights. Great location, very quiet and view from the room overlooking the forest. Large family room was excellent value for money and staff were super friendly and helpful. Restaurant very good quality traditional local food. All in all a most enjoyable experience!

The surroundings are beautiful. Good location, close to Koblenz and Moselle region.
The initial room that we got was full of flies and bugs. Also dead flies everywhere on fhe floor. Apparently the room had not been used for some time and the window was open. After we complained we got another toom which was better. The beds were incredibly soft though. Also the lock at the front door was not easy to open and when we called for help in the evening nobody answered the emergency phone number.
