Friendly, clean and comfortable hotel in excellent location

This is such a well-located hotel, overlooking the Rhine, just a few minutes walk from the historic German Corner. We loved our balcony room that looked out across the river at the imposing Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Everything was very comfortable - we especially loved the choice of different lighting you could have at the touch of a switch by the bed. We were also very glad to be offered a tea and coffee station, which - as English travellers - meant we could have a cuppa whenever we liked. We were also able to get a small jug of fresh milk to keep in the mini fridge. Perfect.

Great location for historic site seeing.

Loved the location and view of the water from the breakfast room. Wonderful buffet breakfast, both hot and cold options. Super access to historic sites and museums.

Beautiful view

Great location. We were able to walk out the door to the boats and gondola. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff were very helpful. Great view of the river and the castle/fortress.

Fabulous 3-star value hotel in prime location

The location is the best possible – great view of the Rhine River and the mountain fort on the other side of the river. The room itself is small but everything is new and works well. Breakfast was awesome.

wifi situation is BAD * sign-in system is unreliable - on more than one occasion I was not able to sign into wifi, connection would be great once I am in * password complexity is ridiculous. there is no reason for the password to be so unfriendly towards people not speaking German * and that ridiculous password has to be entered twice? very poor technology

A good place to stay in an exceptional location near to the city center

Exceptional and quiet location, very clean and well equipped rooms. Excellent breakfast buffet with a lage choice of dishes. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent communication before arrival all details clear.

I felt very welcomed here and will tell others to stay at this hotel

I spent two nights here in December with my partner and after the first day I said „of all the places I have visited over the years there have been few where I felt more welcomed than here.“ From the night desk, the wine bar attendants, the morning desk and the breakfast attendants they all, really all have been friendly, helpful and attentive. This is obviously a tourist hotel where day in, day out new people are coming and going. I might expect that a bit of the doldrums set in. Not here. The place is very clean. The rooms are spacious for two with enough storage to unpack and relax. The location is really top. We came by car and were able to park at the hotel. Sure, the lot is very small but they are very accommodating. The breakfast buffet has everything we needed. Coffee is brought to the table. Come early as it may get crowded later.

When can we come back for more?!

The location on the waterfront was excellent. Being able to sit on the balcony and watch the traffic on the Rhein was great. The hotel was nice and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and most importantly: quiet.

The rear location was not very posh but this is a really not a criticism.

Amazing location, couldn't have been in a better spot! Room clean and comfortable, no AC but a fan was provided. Amazing view from the balcony. Reception staff very friendly and helpful, we felt relaxed and comfortable staying here. Lovely breakfast too!

Great choices at breakfast served by friendly staff on the terrace. Helpful and knowledgable receptionists. Views of traffic on the Rhine from our bedroom balcony.

No bar service for most of our stay which is a shame as the lovely terrace was unused after breakfast.

Great place to stay and a great location.

Breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly and informative. Location was excellent. We had a beautiful view of the Rhine river. Close to all the market places and sites. Next to the cable car to the fortress. Lots of options for eating in walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.

Staff were friendly and the location was amazing with a great view of the river and close to lots of things to do. The balcony was a very nice addition to the room as well.

The shower was quite small, but still adequate and appropriate to the size of the bathroom.

The perfect hotel for our visit to Koblenz!

First, the location was phenomenal. It was the perfect spot for our quick visit to the Weihnachtsmarkt in Koblenz! Also the short walk to the Seilbahn was great for a visit to Ehrenbreitstein. There are some very nice dining options and a running trail just steps from the hotel entrance. Finally, the family room was perfect for our family of 4. We just had the best time in Koblenz and had a phenomenal rest!!

Overall great choice.

The location of the hotel was perfect for visiting Christmas Markets. The river view from the room was lovely, too. Bed mattresses and the topper were very comfortable. The young female staff at the reception in the morning was very nice. We will be happy to be back again.

The folding door of the shower cubicle often came loose. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. I thought that I booked a river view room with a sofa, but there was no sofa.

Superb

Excellent location, very reasonably priced. Right on the Rhine, just below the Deutsches Eck, and next to a cable car that crosses the river to a magnificent castle. Close to numerous cafes & restaurants, Comfortable room. Limited parking, but a 24/7 public lot is a couple of blocks away for €20 for 24 hours.

Good breakfast, but a bit pricey at €15 a piece.
