Lovely cozy hotel with beautiful Rhein river view, loved the cozy single room with river view from the shower :) amazing tasty food in the restaurant. Great breakfast buffet selection as well. Enjoyed the cozy sauna, also with river view to warm up after a cold winter day in lovely Koblenz.

The hotel lobby, restaurant, bar, pool and sky lounge are very nice, but the rooms are basic. No coffee or tea provided, no micro so you could make your own( I brought some of my espresso powder) . Also, no instructions for the blinds. After 2 days of bright sun in the room (no room darkening curtains) we accidentally found the switch for the blinds next to the bed. That would have been good to know.
The breakfast buffet was really expensive at $20 euros each.
We typically don’t eat breakfast, so all we wanted was coffee, so I went downstairs and asked if we could just have coffee, they said yes, but on check out, they charged us 17 euros for 4 cups (small) of coffee.
Ridiculous!
We have stayed in 5 hotels during our Europe trip, and all but this one had coffee & tea in the rooms with everything needed.
There are many other hotels on the Rhine that have better amenities for the $.
