Overnight stay

The hotel was clean, beds were comfy, staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, great value and nicely served. Plenty of hot water in the shower as well. Overall a decent little hotel.

Hotel a little shabby on the outside and some of the decor in the entry hall could maybe do with a spruce up. Was a little odd having no staff to welcome you but understand them trying to keep costs down.

Position perfect.

The hotel was very well positioned to take advantage of any supermarket shopping and laundry needs across the road. It was well positioned for access to the old city and all the choices of restuarants around the next street. The hotel was good and parking reasonably easy in the next street.

We I believe we’re ungraded to premier level, but all I think happened we received a queen size bed in the same room, which made the room even smaller. Nevertheless we coped with it. Still a very satisfactory stay.

Perfect. The hotel is situated in a quiet, peaceful area. Feel a homely atmosphere from the entrance. Large comfortable room, clean and comfortable bathroom. Free, convenient parking. But the most beautiful thing was the breakfast. Everything you need and even more ... prepared by the owner. Tasty and fresh. It's a pity that we were only one night. Thanks for all!

Due to COVID not all facilities could be used, there was in the neighbourhood of the hotel only 1 facility (camping) to have dinner, al others were closed

Great room, very spacious. Beds were good, breakfast was excellent, quiet place and easy parking. Staf was friendly and helpful. There was a fridge with beverages as a replacement for the hotel bar, so the staff has tried to make it as comfortable as possible in this time.

Very good breakfast. The location is good, 20 min nice walk along the river to the center of Bad Ems, 15 min walk to the train station. There are a lot of sightseeings in and around Bad Ems and Koblenz easily reachable by walk or train. The nature around is nice. Some of facilities may require repair, but in general were acceptable.

To avoid.

A lot of space, big bathroom, a nice restaurant just in front of the hotel.

We arrived when the hotel reception was closed and it looked like a gost place, not so nice indeed, but...nevermind we could collect our keys. Our room was the very last upper floor, therefore very very very incredibly hot: air-conditioning is absolutely necessary in a room like this during Summertime, Germany weather has changed since years, in case you haven't noticed it. We were therefore forced to keep windows opened and it was very noisy as we had a main street just in front. In the event we could keep the vindows shut, curtains were almost transparent and did not allow us to sleep properly. Finally, no covid rules were followed at breakfast time, as buffet was on and no one weared mask or used gel. Totally to avoid.

Toller Aufenthalt

Wir konnten den Aufenthalt um einen Tag verschieben, da wir krank waren. Der Empfang war total freundlich. Das Gesamte Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und man findet überall liebevolle Botschaften (einen Begrüßungszettel auf dem Zimmer oder im Restaurant auf dem Tisch). Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder! :-)
