Excellent stay

Location was good, bus stop just outside. View from our room was really nice. Great shower and comfortable beds. Owners were very nice and helpful. The Indian restaurant downstairs serves excellent food. We would stay there again

Avoid!

Nothing

The hotel is a death trap. The fire alarm system was not installed and the fire exit led to a closed room. The room had been used by a smoker and the shower tracks were filthy. Awful For an extra 50 Euros we stayed at the Mercure.

Very good

The building is located in a quiet area. Bus stop just next to the building. It's also possible to cross the river to the city center by ferry. The owners were very kind and lent us a ventilator as it was a very hot day. The room was a good size. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Basic toiletries were provided.

A bit hard to arrive to the hotel very early in the morning or later at night (last bus stops around 9:00- 9:30 pm). Ferry stops running even earlier at 7:00 pm. It was not a problem for us, but something to be aware of if you are arriving early/late in the day.

1. Many spiders in the room 2. No bar soap, only one small bottle of shampoo 3. No glass or cup in room 4. Route to room is through restaurant and cluttered and messy adjacent room.

Fair stay

The room is newly renovate but not completely furnish. No hangging rode for wet towels. And no chair to rest after a long walk.

Check-in at 15 o'clock. Room service and sanitation is not yet done. Have seen hairs on bed. It is strictly notified "NO SMOKING" but walking along the hall. It is so obvious smells zigarett smoke. But no personnel to talk to for the matter. There are some rooms still on renovation in action but the staircase is not cleaned-up for the end of the day. In fairness the bus station is just infront of the hotel.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt mit leckerem Essen in freundlicher Atmosphäre in perfekter Lage

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, sauberes Zimmer und Bad, bequemes großes Bett, sehr gute Lage direkt gegenüber dem Festungsaufzug und direkt an einer Bushaltestelle, Parkplatz, tolles Essen im indischen Restaurant unten im Haus. Auch wenn das Hotel direkt an der Straße liegt, wenn man die Fenster schließt ist es absolut ruhig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Das Haus ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen und man muss Treppen steigen, was leider nicht in der Beschreibung stand, für uns aber kein Problem darstellte. Leider gibt es kein Frühstück, aber gute Tipps, wo man in der Nähe frühstücken kann.

Na ja........

Zentrale Lage, allerdings durch die Baustelle an der Brücke ist eine Umleitung für Fußmarsch ins Zentrum von ca 3 km in kauf zu nehmen.

Leider lässt die Sauberkeit zu wünschen. Im Bad benuztes Stück Seife von wem auch immer...in und an der Dusche Spuren das gleiche....Staub überall. Fußboden nur mit Schlappen zu betreten.

Das Zimmer war frisch renoviert. Das Bad war nagelneu mit Fenster. Alles Notwendige vorhanden. Positiv war der Parkplatz direkt neben dem Hotel. Zudem war das Hotel tierfreundlich. Ich reiste mit einem kleinen Hund. Man konnte in wenigen Minuten die Zahnradbahn zur Festungsanlage erreichen.

Da es ein historisches Haus ist, musste ich in den dritten Stock Treppensteigen. Leider ging der Fernseher nicht.

Sehr nettes Personal. Praktische Lage. Erschwinglicher Preis. Offenbar frisch renoviertes Bad.

Badezimmerfenster war Klarglas statt Milchglas, und ohne Jalousien/Rollos; d.h. ist von anderen Häusern aus einsehbar; diese standen zwar nicht direkt nebenan, aber wenn es jemand (zB mit Fernglas) drauf anlegt, könnte die Person einem zusehen, wenn man ohne vollständige Bekleidung im Badezimmer unterwegs ist. Kein Tisch im Zimmer. Das einzige vorhandene Schränkchen hatte eine kaputte Rückwand und wurde nur von der Tür halbwegs stabil gehalten; sobald man die Tür öffnete, fing es so an zu wackeln, dass man es lieber gleich wieder zumachte, ohne es zu benutzen, um einen kompletten Zusammenbruch zu vermeiden. Kleidung musste man also entweder im Koffer lassen oder versuchen, wenigstens einen Teil an den Garderobenhaken aufzuhängen, aber auch die Garderobenhaken waren großteils kaputt und nicht verwendbar.
