Pleasant hotel in city centre with very friendly staff

Location superb. Although in the city centre, the hotel is in a very quiet street, mainly used by cyclists. The hotel itself is well insulated and sound proofed so that there is no disturbance from other guests.

The lighting in the room and in the bathroom is inadequate. Although this was a King Double Room, there was only one armchair. The large room mirror was exactly opposite the large window at the other end, hence one could only see one's shadowy outline in it.

Quiet rooms with great breakfast buffet

Clean, functional room, comfortable bed, comfortable air conditioning , quiet room, wonderful breakfast buffet. Convenient location.

The only inconvenience was that the toilet was separate from the shower area.

Great accommodation

Spacious, comfortable and clean accommodation. Great to have air conditioning as temperature was in 30s. Our bikes were securely stored in their locked shed.

Nice location for central Koblenz, everything is in walking distance. Nice large room and comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Nice staff. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Decent value for money.

great location but that’s it

it was very close to all the shops and restaurants in the city. it was quite new and parking in their garage was pretty decent.

I always had to wait quite a time at the front desk because the staff was barely there. They went smoking, got a coffee from the bar or somewhere else. Also they could be more friendly. I always felt like they don’t want to answer my question or I’m interrupting them in chit chatting with their coworkers. The staff during breakfast was quite nice tho. but they had a lot of struggles with those few tables. it wasn’t busy at all but they seemed overwhelmed. One morning the milk got spoilt and we told them and they seemed very overwhelmed with the handing of the coffee machine.

The location was excellent, we really enjoyed the outdoor space and bar service, it was great to have air conditioning during a very hot weekend and the breakfast was outstanding!

Very uncomplicated

This was my second stay at sander and I would return for a third time. Breakfast, comfort of the room, accessibility, and proximity to the center are all great.

Superb

The hotel was very central , close to the city centre and a short 10 min walk to the main railway station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with a great choice of food, something to suit everyone.

There was only one small negative in that there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

Nice hotel, great location

Lovely clean hotel, great room size with adequate storage space. Separate shower and wc is nice. The breakfast was of good quality with a good selection of choice.

Whilst the car park is secure, it was not available to us on arrival, so had to park in a nearby public car park for the night at our cost. This was not ideal after a long drive from England.

Everything was great; convenient parking garage below the hotel, attentive staff on the reception, clean and bright room, special requests have been met without any delays.

Would prefer one double bed instead of 2 single beds put together as I was travelling alone, but that was not a big issue.

The bar seating is not very cosy and they stoped cocktails despite being advertised in the hotel and website. Pillows were terribly uncomfortable. But shower was excellent.
