Disappointing

The shower was good. The location was helpful for evening food

No staff after 5pm - couldn’t get in. All communication emails only in German. Messages on multiple platforms - app, email and text message - really confusing. Poor sound proofing in rooms - might as well slept in a nightclub. Far too hot in room and no ventilation. Not enough water to drink, no coffee in room.

Convenient and reasonable.

The location of the property was brilliant - right in the middle of the Christmas markets... it was lovely to see them from your bedroom window. The staff were super pleasant and attentive. I would also recommend the breakfast options here - convenient and super good quality.

The beds were super uncomfortable. Whilst it was lovely to be able to see the square and the markets form your room, there were a couple of draw backs. Firstly the daily bin emptying in the early hours of the morning, then the church bells ringing from around 6am... if you are a light sleeper, probably not the place for you. There is also no lift to the rooms... the only access is via a solid spiral staircase. I wasn't completely impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom. There is a lot of mould growing in the grout lines which I think needs to be addressed asap. If they took care of that the cleanliness would be far more acceptable.

Way too cold - like an unheated dorm

Generally good location - but beware you’ll have to carry your bags to the hotel (cars can’t drive to the door) and up the stairs.

Everything. The room is much smaller than it seems in photos. We checked in then went for a walk. When we got back it was freezing, but the room doesn’t have a thermostat. We looked everywhere but couldn’t find a way to make the room warmer. No staff is on site; we called the hotel’s number but they didn’t answer. We had to leave and check into a different hotel.

This hotel is perfectly located in the big middle of old town Koblenz.

The cafe below the hotel was exceptional. The food was always delicious, and the service always friendly. Also, the cafe is a beautifully decorated spot and very calming. The location of the hotel is just perfect. It sits right across from a church with beautiful bells that play on the hour. My husband and I loved listening to them - they set the mood for the rest of the day.

Our room was too small. I should have paid better attention during the booking process. The room we stayed in was better suited for a solo traveler.

Pity about the party people in the square below.

The location was very central with easy access to the town, bars and restaurants. It was a nice room with good bathroom and comfortable bed. Breakfast was to be had in the Cafe in the ground floor of the building.

I was unlucky. The great location also meant that I was kept awake until 4 a.m. by drunks singing and shouting in the square below. Not the Hotels fault but the reason I will not stay here again. As my room was under the roof of the building (no lift) in summer it was very warm so windows had to be left open.

Come for their kindness and location.

The location was literally on a square with bells ringing! The staff was so kind. We had a parking ticket and one of the staff used her bank account to pay the ticket once we reimbursed her. What a load off our minds! The cafe was an excellent option.

Parking was a little difficult but eventually worked.

Nice stay to explore Koblenz' Altstadt

Its a good hotel with comfortable rooms on a little square in Koblenz Altstadt.

Its a bit of pity that the cafe, which seems to be very nice, has very short opening hours. In our case it was about to close when we arrived and opened after we departed.

Great location and staff

Location in old town was perfect. The hotel warned in advance there was a music festival and provided earplugs! It was very hot but efficient fans were also provided. Breakfast in cafe was very good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

No lift so had to carry suitcase 3 floors up spiral staircase. Would have been helpful to have had more than one socket in the bedroom and to have a full-length mirror.

An awkward trundle with bags from the nearby car park across cobblestone walking streets. The narrow stone spiral staircase is a no no if you are at all disabled. The staff were more interested in the cake shop patrons than the hotel guests. Not even a goodbye.

Koblenz is a nice town but you would not spend much time in the room

It was in a good location. Right on a main square. A fair size room. Somewhere to hang your clothes. Good bathroom. And good Wi-Fi

It was quite hot and there was no air conditioning. Or fan. The TV volume was limited to a low level. Probably to stop annoying other rooms. But we could not hear it properly. The bed was the only place to sit and watch TV and there was no bed head to lean against. The staff were a bit indifferent. no fridge. We had to ask for tea making facilities.

A warm and cozy trip to Koblenz

The cafe below is lovely and the room was beautiful. The location was great and we had a great courtyard view. The staff was great and set up the room with rose petals for us :)

The lack of air conditioning was uncomfortable, and the bed was just two beds pushed together which was odd.

No lift so you have to carry your luggage up a spiral staircase. Noisy from 07:00 to 09:00 as they prepare the square for the day.

Nice rooms, zero else

Very good location. Room and bathroom good.

The name is misleading. “Hotel & Cafe” but the cafe closes a 5pm and opens at 9am. If you arrive after 5, you can’t check in. There is no staff at night, just a digital fob to let you in if you are already checked in.

Great position in the old town square, lovely hearing the bells outside. Great cafe for breakfast downstairs. Everywhere very clean and staff lovely

Spiral staircase up to rooms. No air conditioning, fan provided but would be hot in summer. Very noisy during the night with revellers in the square, then woken early by street cleaners and gunmen. Managed to go back to sleep each time!

The place is very nice and the location was perfect since I was there for the Christmas Markets.

The location, friendly staff, clean room, the coffee shop/restaurant downstairs. All was good.

The spiral staircase and no elevator. It was a little rough getting up and down those stairs every day and getting my luggage down by myself. LOL But, it was definitely not a deal breaker. The place was great.

Staff were lovely; food delicious; great location for sightseeing Breakfast not included but good options in the cafe.

We stayed on a Friday evening and as the hotel is located next to bars restaurants and clubs(?) it was very noisy until midnight and then randomly (but regularly!) until about 4 am!! So beware...you have to decide the payoff between location and noise! Different days of the week may be quieter.

Staff could be a little friendlier. The coffee shop on the bottom floor has very limited opening hours, only from 9am to 5pm. If we needed to leave ealier we couldnt eat anything, and the same at night.

A very good choice to enjoy Koblenz nightlife

In the very center of the city. Comfortable room with a bathtub. Delicious food in the ground floor cafe.

Unfortunately, being in the center on Friday and Saturday nights also means a loud nightlife that did not allow you to fall asleep until two at night. Hotel without elevator.
