Spacious propety with limited spa access, better for a stay durng warmer days

The room was cosy and spacious, I liked the two layered design. The bed was comfortable. The area is very green and well maintained. The deer were also a nice add on to the scenery. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was a bit pricey but tasty.

The spa was super small and access was limited. It can only fit 4 people at a time, so you need to book your visit in advance and you can then spend an hour only using the facilities. The inside pool is super small and not well heated. Also, the spa center is in a separate building and there is no warm connection to it from the hotel rooms, which wasn’t great in February. The furna bar was nice but it was cold and the gas lap menat to heat it was broken.

The room view is absolutely spectacular, making it hard to even leave the balcony, and the room itself is kept spotlessly clean and neat. I really appreciated the thoughtful room accessories and how easy it was to get from the room directly to the restaurant without any hassle. The breakfast was incredibly delicious and fresh, providing the perfect start to the day. What truly made the stay, though, was the lovely staff—they are so polite, welcoming, and genuine that you feel right at home. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with great service, this is definitely it.

Great location! Perfect for a peacefull reset in the nature. The staff is very pleasent and helpfull, good breakfast with variety of choices.

The spa is very small and u have only one hour a day so u need to book it in advanced, altough we went in first and last and got the whole spa for ourselfs :)

had a wonderful stay at Aurora Resort & Spa. The location is absolutely stunning — surrounded by nature, with peaceful views and fresh mountain air. The whole resort feels relaxing and well-maintained, perfect for rest and escape from city life. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. I especially enjoyed the indoor pool and the outdoor area with the beautiful view. The staff were extremely kind and professional, always smiling and ready to help with anything I needed. The restaurant offered delicious food, especially the breakfast with lots of fresh and local options. Overall, I truly enjoyed every moment and would definitely recommend Aurora Resort & Spa to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway in nature. I can’t wait to come back again! 🌿✨

Warm hospitality and absolute comfort a perfect stay!

From the moment you arrive, you are greeted by an incredibly kind staff member. A huge bravo to the employer last night, even though my reservation was made just one hour before arrival and it was quite late, they welcomed me warmly and explained every detail with great patience!! Secondly, and most importantly during winter inside the hotel it feels like summer! The entire property is perfectly heated: the restaurant, rooms, bathrooms, and hallways are all warm and cozy. You completely forget it’s winter outside, which makes it perfect for families with children. The restaurant is beautifully arranged, and the staff there are equally polite and professional. Even though we changed tables several times before deciding where to sit, it was never an issue for them they remained friendly and accommodating. Everything you ask for, they provide with a smile. The hotel is spotless, comfortable, and truly worth every penny and every star it holds. It genuinely feels better than home!

Not our first visit, and definitely won't be the last

This is not our first visit, and once again, we loved it. Beautiful greenery and flowers, perfectly maintained. The outdoor pool was clean and pleasant. Our room had a very nice terrace and a beautiful yard which we enjoyed very much. The staff was kind and helpful. The feeding of the fawns is a lovely activity, our child had so much fun. The kids corner was also nice, small but convenient, we visited often. The food was fresh and tasty.

Service at the restaurant. It is very slow, even when it's empty (one or two tables). Desserts are disappointing and personel is not trained well enough (even a bit rude).

Family-friendly bliss in nature!

We stayed at Aurora Resort & Spa with my 5-year-old and had a wonderful time! The resort is very family-friendly, with lots of outdoor space, a great playground, kids’ pool, and activities that kept our little one happy and entertained. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The staff was kind and helpful, and the food was great with options for both kids and adults. Our room was cozy and spacious enough for the three of us. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

A couple of things to keep in mind: During busy periods, the restaurant service can be a bit slow – the staff does their best, but it’s good to plan for a little extra time. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and felt well taken care of. It’s a wonderful spot for families with young children, and we look forward to coming back!

Aurora Spa and Resort, a hidden gem

How lucky to have Aurora Resort by Berovo Lake and reservoir recommended by a local. The location is stunning on beautifully landscaped grounds with an enclosed area of small deer (think Bambi). We were upgraded to a Junior suite which was spacious and overlooked the vista. The pool was wonderful! I had one of my best massages in the spa. The dinner and breakfast were plentiful and delicious. Staff were friendly. There is an easily accessed stone walkway along the lake. We love that we asked someone where in N Macedonia we shouldn’t miss and we ended up at Aurora!

We really enjoyed staying at the hotel

The place is charming, located in the heart of the forest, next to the lake. The place is large and yet incredibly clean. The hotel's internal park is very well-kept, beautiful and relaxing. The hotel staff is very generous, polite and happy to help.

The SPA area is not large, but the hotel knows how to schedule guest visits to the SPA. On the other hand, there is a large outdoor pool that is available to everyone.

It’s a beautiful area with scenic trails and good food. Super accommodating staff.

You have to pay for each amenity individually and schedule ahead of time. The website isn’t so clear because when you click bookings to book a room it brings you to bookings.com and nowhere explains the resort is not all inclusive, at least what would be obvious. They do have all inclusive packages but they aren’t apparent on the website. It’s not expensive but they should tell you it’s an extra 10 euros per person per hour and you need to schedule ahead of time at the time of booking. It’s an additional 10 euros per person for the jacuzzi(that also requires additional prep prior to your scheduled time) for 30 minutes and the heated pool isn’t heated. The fees are inexpensive but transparency is key.

The view, pool, the spa the food were amazing and the staff were great. The hotel was very quiet which was perfect.

Spa closed early when we checked in. But they opened it early for us the next day which was great, thank you.

Improvement needed for 5* resort

Location and nature is outstanding, very well thought off to connect the entire resort with the surrounding environment and not just another building like a wild mushroom. SPA staff were very friendly and nice.

Definitely not a 5* rating place, solid 4* would say. Bathrooms need renovation as can be seen a low maintenance on it as well as the cracks on the walls in the room and poorly maintenance on the balcony. I returned a cocktail (passion fruit mojito) cuz it was very badly done and again got charged for it. Complaint at reception to Igorche who promised that will look into it but never get anything back as an answer. Room phone wasn't working and no one came to fix it even though it was reported on the first day. We have to chase the SPA staff for appointment instead to be done over reception for better and smoother experience cuz at the end of the day is "resort & spa" and had feeling that those are two different business that had some competition.
