Hotel, staff - OK, relaxing, good spa. However, name ”Elegant Lux Hotel” is a little bit too much.

Very helpful staff.

In my room: old furniture, no proper cleaning stuff for the kitchen, no glasses for the bathroom; no shelves in waredrobe.

A good ski hotel.

Ski room, reception, pool with jakuzi and sauna. Best off all is free service to gondola.

Central location, fabulous staff

Hotel was in a good location. A couple of mins walk to main street where restaurants and bars can be found. 5mins walk to gondola. Staff were fabulous. Very professional, kind and courteous. Dinner and breakfast was very good. Large portions and tasty food. Breakfast buffet was varied, hot and cold and good quality. Reception Lobby and dining areas lovely and cosy, it's a shame about the room.

The room - no. 428. Constant smell from pool was overpowering at times. Bed was very uncomfortable as was the sofa bed. Both need replacing as very old and shabby. To match the rest of the hotel, the room needs refurbishing.

The The shower was not draining properly, and that’s the only issue we really hard although the staff tried to solve this issue but they were not successful. I think it was some sort of problem with the plumbing.

A very easy relaxing hotel to stay at 10 mins from ski lift would be happy to stay again

All staff were excellent , friendly but not intrusive making for a very relaxed time. Although some furniture maybe slightly tired it was absolutely acceptable. It would appear that everywhere was freshly decorated, room was warm. Breakfast was to a good standard with plenty of choice and staff on hand for assistance if needed.

The room booked promised a Microwave which was absent and no cooking pans which was annoying.

Comfortable stay in great location for skiing

Hotel was in a great location with a 5 minute walk for collection of ski rental gear, getting to the gondola, and was still based one street up from the main strip. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was good, rooms were clean and warm to dry ski clothes out after use, and made full use of the pool, sauna, and jacuzzi facilities. Would stay in this hotel again.

Cleaning ladies do their job, but zero maintenance, lots of broken things everywhere.

Cleaning ladies do their job perfectly, room was spotlessly clean, staff really friendly.

Absolutely no maintenance, lots and lots of broken things in the room and all over the hotel. 2 out of 3 saunas were out of order in the spa, elevator out of order several times during our stay. In the room, doors to the shower was missing, beds very, very hard, probably a mattress missing. -The hotel owner probably gives the staff zero budget for maintenance and the hotel gets run down.

The sound between apartments is very loud and with annoying neighbors then you have some unwanted noise. The SPA is very small and the facilities are low.

it contained a jacuzzi tho you need to ask the stuff to make it hot by a daily basis , they changed towels and the water was hot in the room ,a coffee machine in the morning was fine

The hotel has a great location and the staff were helpful and smiling.The breakfast was solid, but could be more varied.

The hotel does not meet the requirements for 4 stars. The rooms are old and with old and uncomfortable furniture. The beds and sofa are disastrous. The mattresses are old and smelly, and the sofa is full of stains. The refrigerator did not work, so we kept juices and water on the terrace. In the beginning we didn't have hot water in the toilet, so we had to react. There was hardly any cutlery in the kitchen.We didn't have a TV remote, the lock on the front door of the apartment didn't work well. The toilet had a disgusting stench. The elevator was too noisy and slow. We had a private parking , but it was unpaved. Luckily, we only stayed two nights, so we didn't spend much time in the hotel.I love Bansko, I will definitely come back, but never again in the same hotel.

Transportation to gondola (every 15 minutes). Location is good.

Old building, and furniture. Small, and quite ruined SPA. No sink in the bathroom (we had to use the one in the kitchen). They gave us smaller apartment compared to the one described when we made reservation on booking.com. Breakfast and dinner quality far below a 4 star hotel. Parking is in the mud.

the SPA

It was dirty, the elevator was in a mess. The furniture in the rooms is dilapidated and hygiene is poor. We didn't even have 30% of the necessary cutlery in the kitchen, and when you ask for something, you get the answer that they don't have it.
