Hotel Orphey

We had a very comfortable stay here. The hotel is not new but it’s very comfortable. The spa was lovely and the breakfast was varied. It’s located meters from The main city park which has been renovated beautifully. The Main Street is about 5min walk. The parking is very convenient and free.

- Location was great for city exploring - close to the main street, yet far from the noise. - Rooms were big enough and with balconies and baths - Place felt clean - Internet was stable and fast enough - Staff was polite and helpful, that is, if they were around - There was a free parking lot and spaces next to the hotel - Best room prices in the area

- The restaurant was aimed primarily at serving breakfast, no lunch services were offered and dinner menu felt too basic - The hotel felt abit understaffed at times, and for its size, they should have double the numbers - The SPA was extremely basic, not suitable for large groups and we had to "book" / ask / plan our visits in advance as they did not run the sauna and the steam room all the time - The pool is very small for its purpose - The lifts are in a dire need of fixing - they were shaky, buttons did not lit up and their doors actively tried to murder you if you were not fast enough - Room doors are not well insulated and this makes it difficult to rest at times where other guests are moving through the corridors - In the hotter months, the hotel regularly gets large groups of school kids staying, which while well organized are not properly isolated from the other guests - The location is far from the ski lifts and the tourist tracks

Our stay at the hotel was truly wonderful. The apartment was large, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was polite, kind, and always available whenever we needed assistance. The view was beautiful and contributed greatly to our overall experience. The food was varied and absolutely delicious – special compliments to the chef! We would also like to thank you for the thoughtful gesture towards the birthday celebrant in our family – it truly touched us and made the celebration even more special. We would gladly visit again!

The main facilities have been nicely updated, while certain areas could benefit from additional renovation in the future. That said, the price–quality balance is absolutely fair.

A good and quiet location, with a really nice and tasty breakfast. Rooms are big and comfortable but they need some renovation.

The staff was young and inexperienced; I don't take this as a serious problem. WiFi in the rooms was very poor, and the TV channels were too basic. The sofas were very uncomfortable for sleeping
